First time using this chip shop for over 40 years and it is simply excellent, delicious chips, beautiful light, crispy batter and really punchy curry sauce. An absolutely stunning meal and I think the best that Scarborough has to offer 😋

Outstanding freshly cooked food every time. Very clean with a warm welcome and very helpful staff. Waiting time is kept to a minimum and the food is always served hot.

Decent food for an OK price. Little small on the quantities, but tasted good and staff were very friendly

Tourist of the area and always loved fish and chips. The woman on the counter was extremely polite and helpful. Red dyed hair with glasses if I remember. 100% best service I've had to date.

Fell out of favour a couple of years ago, in the area, and thought I would try it again. New owner, back to fresh cooked fish. If you were disappointed over the last couple of years, try it again. You should not be disappointed.

First let me apologise for the half eaten picture! But I decided that this fish and chips was so good I had to leave a review whilst waiting for it to cool down a bit! Everything cooked fresh! Freshly fried chips and a freshly battered piece of cod cooked whilst I waited. The taste Unbelieve! So delicious! Good value for money portion size. I've been working in Scarborough for a couple of weeks on the hospital development. But today I fancied a treat for dinner instead of the boring packed lunch! Only a 3 minute drive away from site! I'll be visiting regularly now! Glad I found the place! Real nice gent behind the counter to. 10/10

Arrived just short of closing. Not a problem 👌. Ordered Fish chips and peas x 2. Fish cooked to perfection. Big meaty pure white flakes of fish encased in light crispy batter. (Not soggy like some serve). The chips all cooked light n crisp and Not a soggy conjealed greasy heap.Mushy peas also very tasty and perfect consistency. 😋 Thankyou so much to the very friendly staff with such cheery faces, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend croft fisheries. Worth trying you won't be disappointed. Hope to see you again soon. Thankyou. P.S. So nice not to be getting the after taste effects of grease as previously experienced from other establishments.

Phone order ready and waiting. Another excellent fish and chip shop returns to my list. Big haddock with lovely batter. Unfortunately the chips hadn't kept as hot as the fish but they were pretty good. No scraps though pretty sure I'd requested some. I shall return!

Best fish and chips I have had at least the chips, wouldn't go anywhere else, at least the chips don't come with human hairs cooked in , as a previous shop I frequented, lovely staff and lovely food ,

They say they cook everything to order ' I went today and the chips were horrendous 'to the point we threw them away ' waste of my money ' won't be returning

Had an outstanding meal on Good Friday. We tried here for the first time and had a sizeable order and everything was spot on. The staff were very efficient and although there was a very long queue, they managed to get through it relatively quickly. Food was absolutely spot on and all 10 of us were very please. Thank you

Never been before but will definitely be returning, staff friendly all wearing head gear and shop very clean had mix of fish ,chicken, chips , curry, and mushy peas all very tasty thank you 👍

Probably the best fish & chips in Yorkshire. If you haven't tried it yet then you should. Cooked to perfection, tasted divine and the owners not bad too 😋😉
