Went along for pie night, had heard great things about the food and we were not disappointed. The pies were delicious; homemade shortcrust pastry and stuffed with tasty filling. Chips, mash, gravy and veg all excellent too. Sticky toffee pudding was light and swimming in sauce with cream. Service was impeccable, quick and courteous. Will definitely go back soon

Had to visit to check out the ploughman’s that I’d seen pop up on my Facebook, I didn’t think it would be possible to actually be as good as the picture , how wrong was I ! It was literally the best ploughman’s I’ve ever had , absolutely delicious, we stupidly ordered sides aswell not knowing what to expect ( they kindly boxed these for us to take away ) you definitely need to be hungry if you order the ploughman’s lol , hubby had scampi chips and peas which also came with a lovely fresh dressed side salad . Staff all so lovely and friendly and very fairly priced , can’t wait to go back for steak night , thanks guys for a truely lovely lunch xx Steve and Lisa somerfield and doggies

The best local pub! We regularly eat at The Cottage Inn as a family. Fantastic home cooked food. The steaks are a favourite along with the Hunters chicken. You are always guaranteed a delicious meal, a great atmosphere and excellent customer service. The staff are first class. An authentic pub which is great value for money. Spotlessly clean and just perfect.

Sunday Lunch is just the best ! Great food, good service and excellent value for money. What more can I say ? We visit at least once a month and the quality never varies.

Never had a bad experience at The Cottage. The food and service are consistently good. Ample parking and dog friendly. Well positioned on the A39, perfect for passing trade. (Actually , don't pass, go in!) We are fortunate to live only a couple of miles away and this is, definitely, the best pub food in the area. Last but not least, Kerry is a ⭐!

booked a table for 3.30 which was not available when we arrived, staff member suggested we stand in a corner to wait for our table, or wait until 4.45pm for a table to become available. Finally seated at about 4.15pm but were not informed we needed to order at the bar, waited quite a while until we were informed that was what we needed to do. Ordered Sunday lunch platter, which was done to death and completely tasteless, would think it had been microwaved and roast potatoes were like rubber balls. Very bad experience all round.

We visited The Cottage Inn, Keenthorne. The food was superb we went as a family of 25 people, all the food came out rapidly and no one was left waiting. The meals were perfect and great portions, the food itself was fresh and of brilliant quality. Unfortunately I don't have any photos as we tucked in. The environment was modern but with a country homely feel I would definitely recommend others to venture out of town to visit this gem.

Beautiful food on 2 occasions and the service was great to , definitely worth a visit , I had the venison pie and on the 2nd visit the sea bass both superb

Tonight we had a lovely meal at the Cottage Inn. We arrived at 6pm without a booking and we were greeted very warmly by young lady behind the bar. She gave us a table immediately and saw to our drinks order. The menu is extensive and there were lots of specials as well. The food was delicious and the service was very good from all staff members we met . Overall we had a great experience and would recommend highly.

Been coming to the cottage for 2yrs every Thursday and Sunday. Always a warm welcome from Kerry and staff, the menu is varied with specials and grill nights. Food is always hot and served with a smile

This place is a real hidden gem. Everything is perfect. The food was superb. A wonderful, traditional country inn. The landlady and all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. If you travel on the A39, this place is a must if you want to stop for food. Highly recommended.

The minute you walk in you are made to feel very welcome. We had an amazing lunch! Not one of us could fault it.Between us we had the Fishcakes,Fish and Chips and the Steak. Followed by a Strawberry Pavlova Sundae. My husband said it was the best Fish and Chips he had ever eaten! The staff were all brilliant. Attentive, Friendly and we were made to feel very relaxed. If you ever get to go to this Fabulous pub you won't be disappointed. My advice is book before you go and sit back and enjoy!

Went there for Dinner which was superb. The service was excellent from start to finish The staff were friendly, professional and our meals were served promptly. Great service and food. We have eaten here for the last two evenings as we are staying just up the road. All the staff are polite and super helpful, combine this with good , hot proper pub food and you can't go wrong. Definitely recommend x

We dropped in unannounced after making a mistake with another Inn in a different area. The staff were great and squeezed us in despite being really rushed off their feet.
