We visited to escape the rain, and was met by two lovely friendly members of staff. Super nice and the sausage baguette specials were great!! I didn't realise until later on its a supported internship cafe and what an amazing idea!! As someone who supports SEND young people in another county it was fabulous to see. Keep up the amazing work and the fabulous food and drinks too!!!

This a lovely little cafe . A training cafe for young adults with mild learning disabilities. We had the best cheese and ham panini . Absolutely lovely, prepared and cooked by Taylor and cappuccino coffee made and served by Sam. Very reasonable prices too . Go on give it a try

My friends are members and suggested I joined them at the outdoor pool. £25 just for pool use, the view and pool temperature were great, but the surrounding is tired looking, I expected to be able to order drinks pool side but no options for that, you had to go inside to get a drink. Gluten free options very poor, food was expensive and average. It was most definitely not a 5* experience but it could well be if these simple issues were solved.

Fui con los compañeros de trabajo, y es la vieja casa de moda preparado/comida preparada. Hay mucho para ver en el lugar, y todo por una buena causa, sigan con el buen trabajo.

This charming cafe is staffed by volunteers from a nearby church, and all profits go to various humanitarian (and some Christian) charity projects. The soups are even donated by volunteers. My wife and I visited for a quick lunch while in Torquay for a few hours. She had leak & potato soup and cheese & pickle sandwiches while I opted for a ham & cheese toasted sandwich. Both dishes were prepared to a high standard and tasted good. The wife remarked she could have drained a large mug of the soup. We also each had a drink and shared a chocolate brownie, all for £13. The place is nicely decorated and the volunteer staff are both friendly and efficient. If you're looking for a light meal somewhere a little different and either want or don't mind helping the causes, you can't really go wrong.

Stopped in here for elevenses on our way to a meeting. Warm welcome, friendly service and lovely scones. My young companion had baked beans on toast - a simple dish but beautifully presented. My scones were warm, fresh and beautifully baked. A place with a heart

Stunning pub in the middle of nowhere, with wonderful food, huge outdoor seating area to soak in the sun and a unique water station for dogs called ‘Scooby Brew’. The mains (beef rib bourguignon and slow-cooked pork belly) were very tasty and filling, but there was just enough room for a delicious mango & passion fruit pavlova dessert. The staff were friendly, accommodating and looked after us, absolutely no problem there. The pub really is a hidden gem with plenty of beautiful walks around, definitely worth exploring after a lovely meal!
