The Cosy Neuk is becoming of its name. Warm, cozy, inviting and the food was incredible! The staff are welcoming and happy to help with any requirements. Highly recommended! Great food for an extremely good price.

Saw that there was a Valentines menu on so booked as we were staying locally for a few days. Menu had 3 starters, 4 mains and 3 desserts all priced well. We were the only couple in the restaurant 🙈 it was cosy when we went in but did get cooler as the night went on, wouldn't have felt it had there been other diners though I'm sure. No wine delivery so only Rose on offer but was offered BYOB if we wanted but was happy with the beers and coke. Waitress friendly and service good. Restaurant was decorated for Valentines weekend and was very pretty. Food was lovely. Had venison and pork for mains, husband said venison was cooked well. Cash only which we lucky had, as their cash machine was down. Needs sound proofing on the kitchen door! Your customers dont need to hear you discussing Brie portion sizes or how to serve a pudding!! But it made for entertaining listening. Overall will be a good business but a few teething points need ironed out.

The atmosphere was relaxed but most definitely welcoming too. The menu gave plenty choice and also varied. The portions were big and flavourful. I wish them all the best

We had diner and were not allowed to order alcoholic drinks because of lack of license. Soft drinks were not all cooled. Waitress was not aware off the specials. Be aware there is a special menu during week and weekends. Great potential but needs improvements.

Visited for breakfast. Sadly the waitress didn’t know what she was doing - the coffee was weak and horrid. The restaurant was cold but thankfully we sat in the sun. The breakfast would have been adequate if it had been hot. Service was poor. Has potential to be great as it had lovely decor and a great location. Spoke with the owner/manager as we left and she was very friendly and helpful.

Saturday 2nd of November, they decided to shut the restaurant, no head up or anything. Just no meals, only refreshments. Fast forward two weeks. After a 4 hour drive on the Friday, I arrived at 7.05pm. Reception said restaurant were serving until 8.30 and I was OK just to pop over and get a table. So I done that. No tables for the rest of the night. Only the tables near the bar were being used. Rest of the place was empty. Saturday seemed to go without a hitch. Sunday morning, apparently the chef pulled a sickie so there was no hot food other than what you could put through the toaster! The big lad that's in the restaurant is brand new as are some of the other FOH staff but this place need to sort the BOH staff out pronto. Also just a little tip for the servers, from someone who was in hospitality for 18 years, when someone walks in the door and stands waiting to be attended to, give them an acknowledgement. Don't just leave them standing like a spare tw4t.

Scottish hospitality at its best! Great place to stay, staff are fantastic and welcoming. Food at dinner and breakfast was great, and had a good night’s sleep in a comfy, clean room! Super dog friendly too.

We stayed at The Mansefield Hotel during our visit to Elgin and also had dinner there several times. We already had a very positive impression when booking. Our contact via email and telephone was very helpful and friendly. Our room was one of the Superior Four Poster category and we really liked it. The hotel bar is very cozy and excellently equipped. The restaurant also has a very nice atmosphere and the food is excellent. We also visited the Mezzo Bar, which is attached to the hotel. Great cocktails are offered here. All employees are very friendly and accommodating. We can highly recommend the hotel!
