Great supper tonight fantastic food with great service from the staff very friendly atmosphere would recommend all day long

on the way to the chip shop i tried to call but they didn't answer the phone and as i entered the shop they were shouting at one another and the young lady that was there working shouted some foul language to the phone as i got my supper the batter was all off of my fillets they had beeb reheated they were raw and my mothers fish was also reheated and absolutely disgusting i would not recommend this place at all

Second time coming here while in town for work and although the cafe is quiet on an evening, they're so friendly and give great service. Really good batter on the fish and even though scraps aren't always a thing in Scotland, they do them better here than a lot of places down south!

10/10 chip shop I had fish 🐟 and chips nice thick side of haddock well cooked very tasty 😋

I absolutely love coming here. Lady owner is so nice and friendly. And yes your salt and pepper chips are better than the Chinese. Thank you again.

Fantastic tasting food! None greasy and full of flavour. The chips were cooked to perfection, and the batter was like melt in the mouth texture, delicious 😋!

Burnt fish suppers and onion rings

Not one to review things often as i don’t often eat out due to health conditions, but i am a firm believer in positive feedback. I was visiting family in the area last thursday and they recommended their local chip shop. I ordered the Bbq chicken salad and a portion of the salt and pepper chips. It was great to see such variety on the menu. Staff were friendly and very polite. Great value for money. Salad was a good portion for the £7 i paid, coleslaw is homemade and fresh. Will definitely be back!!

Like the mixed munchies boxes. It's a good way of trying different things. We got takeaway as a birthday treat. And everyone enjoyed their choices. Loaded fries were a favourite, as was the popcorn chicken. Homemade coleslaw was very good too

Quality food every time and generous portions. Keenly priced and a goid selection, Christmas specials were fantastic. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient.i now drive over town rather than walk round corner to my nearest chip shop.

Can be disappointing. Chips often re heated. Would rather have less and they be freshly cooked. Fish the same often re heated. And its very expensive. You can ask for a small fish supper but so far have always got end of tail. No meat all batter. Shoddy .

Used to really enjoy this place but the last 3 times I’ve went my order has always been wrong and it’s got to the point where I won’t be going back. Also to be charged £1.80 for cheese on the chips is a bit too much I must say.

Worst fish and chips ever.. Battered fish was soggy and burnt and tasteless the chips weren't even nice.. White pudding was unedible .. My god how can you serve disgusting food.. It's only fish and chips for god sake

I wouldn't recommend the battered foods unless you like them greasy. The chips curry and peas are very tasty though and plenty of it . The curry is the fruity type.

I was recommended to stop in past here whilst visiting family. I visited on Sunday, I ordered two fish suppers and red pudding supper. The batter was light and crispy which is how I like it, the portion sizes were generous and the customer service was speedy and very polite. I really couldn't fault this chippy, will definitely be back!!!

bought 2 fish suppers, the quality has always been good here, but last nights takeaway left a lot to be desired. The chips were hard and reminded me of ones left to get cold and then reheated. The fish batter was hard to even cut through, I ate the fish, and left the batter, I tried to cut it with a knife for my dog to eat and it was difficult to cut through. I never write reviews or complain, but in this instance felt something should be said. I will not be using Tootys again, I wondered why when I was there at around 5 in the evening that i didnt see any fish being fried or chips. guess these were just warmed up.

Some staff, are miserable, some dont follow government guidance, they never wear face coverings, hair nets, gloves, nor do they wash hands. Anyway Deep Fried Pizza Battered is nice

Had fish and chips from here on the last day of our 2 week holiday. Fish was beautifully cooked to order, management of Covid safety was excellent. Would recommend to anyone

There was this kid called Archie Thomson, he was dripping grease all over the floor! The staff were rushing trying to mop it up but there was too much! When i eventually got my food (which was a cheese and black pudding deep fried pudding with coleslaw and beans mixed together on the side). It was delightful if i may say so myself. However, the additional grease from the ape looking specimen really went through me and i was on the can for a solid 5 hours, but trust me, the things that came out were not solid... kind regards, will be back soon!

It had been a while since I was last in the area but I was glad I remembered this gem of a chip shop. When I stopped by last Friday, I was served swiftly and the food was perfect, even for a fussy cousin! Would highly recommend.

Picked up a bag of chips here, on my way back from Aberdeen. Unusually for 6pm on a Friday night, it was empty, and only people came in while I was waiting for my order. Neither ordered fish and chips, both had burgers, which was a bit surprising. Chips were as white as a sheet, completely tasteless and only just on the point of being cooked. Won't be returning due to that, and that the girls in there were too deep in conversation to register me standing at the counter.

Good quality food, at good prices.

Me and my family were visiting friends and decided to stop in past for a chippy. I ordered a King rib supper, Chicken fillet supper, kids fish and a kids nuggets. The chicken fillets were homemade and tasted really good, the kids meals came with a drink and were both really pleased with their meals. The chip shop was very busy as the Christmas lights were being switched on so we expected that it would be a long wait but we only had to wait 15 minutes for our food. The staff were very nice and the customer service was really good. The food tasted excellent and we will definitely be back again.

Got breaded Haddock and chips from their takeaway chippy, everything was very over cooked, if I hadn't been so tired I would have gone back to complain but for near enough £7 I would have like to have been able to actually bite through my food.

So i went there to get chippy right? and big man got jumped in the chippy and total fight total cuak

Visited the cafe for the first time with my 8 year old daughter today. The lady who served us was unbelievably rude and had such an unpleasant manner that I would never go back again. I ordered 2 meals and a drink, and when I asked for a tap water also was told very abruptly that they did not give tap water and I could buy a bottle. I declined, but once seated politely told her that I believed that it was a requirement to provide tap water on request if customers were purchasing food. A glass of water was then slapped down in front of us with no comment. (On checking later, it may be that it’s only a legal requirement to provide tap water in licensed premises, but I have never ever been refused a tap water in addition to other purchased food/drinks in any cafe or restaurant before and found this extremely off-putting!) When our food was served we were asked if we wanted any sauces. My daughter said ‘no thank you’, but a few minutes later decided she would like some ketchup. I asked politely if we could have some ketchup please and the lady responded rudely with an annoyed ‘I did ask already and she said no - just so you know’! I was really taken aback by how rude her manner was. I said ‘yes, she’s changed her mind’ and was told ‘I’m just saying - everyone’s entitled to’. It was such a bizarre experience for someone working in the service industry face to face with customers to be so rude and unpleasant. We remained to finish our meal and I didn’t complain at the time or leave the cafe when the woman was first rude to us because I was out for a special outing with my daughter - and she was really hungry! She’d wanted to go in for a burger and chips for lunch together and it would have really spoilt our outing day if we’d had to leave and go elsewhere. I would certainly never return however!

Good food and friendly service. Sit in or take away.

Takeaway and cafe. Daily specials. Decent Haddock and chips. Good service and more choice on their menu than you could imagine! On street parking outside if a space available. Fair prices. I think my Haddock cost me around £4.80.

We had a lovely, spur-of-the-moment breakfast here on our way to Inverness during our family trip. Great meal and kind people made it a nice, relaxing stop.

I dont know what has happened to the chicken fillets they used to sell but lately they are small and very dry, almost inedible. It's a shame as it used to be very good.

Food is always great. Staff are very friendly and polite. Service is fast. Very clean and tidy place.

Entered with half an hour til closing time to be huffed and puffed at by staff. Told they had no chips, I said I was happy to wait, they didn't hide their displeasure at having to simply do their job. My daughter and I overheard some rude comments. Not happy and unlikely to go back.

Had a traditional fish supper and thoroughly enjoyed. Generous portion of fish and just enough chips, without being too many.

Tootys is okay. Good fish supper. If its busy they will forget if you asked for no salt and vinegar and put it on anyway.

We called in to this cafe after a very long drive. After looking over the varied menu both my partner and I decided on the cooked breakfast which was delicious. My daughter however wasn’t hungry and asked only for a drink, the lovely lady had no problem whatsoever with this, and brought her drink with the same polite and smile as she did our food and drinks.

I was passing through Keith and had a delicious lunch in Tooty’s cafe. Highly recommend the fish supper. Cafe is clean and staff are very friendly.

I am a support worker and today I was supporting a lady to Tooty’s cafe for a bite to eat. When the waitress came over and (English, short in height, ginger like hair which was all gathered back in a clasp) asked what we would like. The lady I was supporting put in her order and then I said nothing for me thank you. I was then verbally abused and shouted at being told that I can’t expect to come in to a cafe and not have anything, I explained that I was actually working and not there for me. She then said the lady’s name I was supporting in a disgusted voice and said yes I know who she is! She was in here herself yesterday and managed fine. She tutted at me, shouted...yes shouted! at me numerous times about being in a cafe and not having anything. Wouldn’t give me her name so I could contact her manager. I am usually a strong person but the vile lady had me in tears! My reason for not eating is because I am pregnant and didn’t feel like eating. I’m sure any women can understand how emotionally challenging it is being pregnant without having someone shouting in your face when you are out supporting clients.

On the first night of our holiday in the area we had a 'fish supper'. The fish was nice and white but was nothing special.The chips were very dry.

We popped in for lunch.It has a full chip shop menu but we chose Chicken and rice soup and sandwiches.The soup was full of chicken and was just delicious.Sandwiches were freshly made to order.High quality and great value.A little gem of a cafe.

We got caught in a downpour of rain when we'd left our coats in the car a walk away...noticed the sign saying cafe and followed it round the side of the chip shop. Its part of the chip shop but just uses a different door from the takeaway at the front. The lady serving made us a steaming hot mug of milky coffee which was delicious. We didn't eat as it was about 3ish and between meals but would definitely go back for a chipper lunch/ tea.

Staff was friendly but seriously, look at this burger. It was completely tasteless and dry. The chicken wings tasted a bit better but also far off from how they should have tasted.

Tooty's is a real gem. There is a chippy at the front and the entrance to the café is tucked away on a side street. The service was really friendly and fast, and the food was good old fashioned, honest grub; exactly what you want from this type of café. Excellent! I'd definitely go back!

We stopped off at Tootys but instead of eating in the car we decided to go and sit down in the cafe the place was spotless and the staff were ever so friendly, the food was very nice and the bonus was that you could have a cup of tea and bread and cakes to finish off the food. I would recommend that you give it a try they also do nice soup and sandwiches at lunch time.

I went into this store at the weekend and I was applauded at the state that my food came in. The chips were pale and undercooked, and the fish was soggy and discoloured. The whole menu is from the freezer, though a chippy was ment to be fresh. To top it all off by the time I got home with it the paper wrapping around it was covered in oil. Also the customer service was terrible. Would definitely give this place a miss in the future !!!!

April 28th about 4.30 pm I was charged £2.80 by the young man in the chip shop for the classic chicken wrap,

Me and my daughter visited for haggis and chips. It was lovely tasting haggis with crispy batter. We ate in and the service and staff was fantastic. I have to say that the friendliest staff ever. Even making scraps for my daughter because they didn’t have any! They couldn’t do enough for us.

Nice family place would recommend it and it is affordable,The quality of the food could be improved not as in cheep but in food as i had a sandwich and the cheese could be softer,The lettuce in the coleslaw could be cut in to smaller bits, But really recommend this place will be back soon.

This was a good wee place on the high street in Keith, there's a chippy on the street and a cafe up the side street to it. It's quite small, but not squashed in with tables and chairs. The food is great and the chips are lush, not all greasy like some places. The prices are fair for the plate of food you get and it was a great wee find. There was also panini, salad and homebakes too. The staff were quick and efficient, not chatty and friendly which is okay too. I would go back to there again if the family is in the area

We are locals and live just up the road so Tootles is a regular cafe for us mostly for their full Scottish breakfast. This is freshly cooked and excellent value at £4.90 including toast and coffee.

I ordered a fish an chip supper and I found a hair it's disgusting they reheat there pies an chips are solid they give you food you don't even ask for I asked for a wrap with lettuce Nd mayo n chicken I got cheese in it batter is solid 😡

Being on holidays last from Glasgow. We stopped at this Chip shop on Friday Night. I bought a fish supper & 12in.Margareta Pizza. Witch was pure powder white at the bottom.. Chips weren't fresh ..changed us £19 odds...very very disappointed.... If u want fresh food go to Cullen's bay... Kind regards. Norbit.c...

1. En primer lugar. . . Pedí un chip butty patatas fritas esperando en un bollo suave con mantequilla. Después de esperar 10 minutos me decepcionó mucho. Me habían dado una bandeja llena de patatas fritas con pan grapado en la parte superior. Esto era muy difícil comer/empuñadura, ya que era demasiado patatas fritas en el plato. Ningún esfuerzo. Se me olvidó mencionar que el personal era rápido hacia mí y mi grupo de amigos mientras estábamos pidiendo. Pero, aparte de la comida y el personal es realmente agradable.

Venimos a Keith en vacaciones una vez son dos veces al año y después de 350 km en coche nuestra primera parada es siempre Tootys. Llamamos y te dan pescado y patatas fritas en camino a nuestra casa de vacaciones.

Freshly cooked fish n chips, served by friendly staff what more can you say, oh yes they also have many cold juices, extras to go with your food, pizzas, burgers, wraps but all freshly made when you order

Nice place for basic food had lunch and breakfast here no frills just good food staff could not be more helpfull. Lovely scones and empire biscuits I always take some home with me

Poor selection of cakes on offer. Most of specials weren't available on the day and poor waitress was run off her feet with no help. Because it's open through to the back of the chip shop it does smell like a chippie too which isnt good if you want to stay smelling fresh for work

Awful they do reheats and the batter is hard really hard.. Its supposed to be soft. Their chips are reheats aswell. Terrible and you wait ages for that and it's not even good

We popped in here for a bite to eat between our tours, and this place did not disappoint! My husband had the fish and chips, which were delicious! I had the spicy haggis and sausage rolls (fried in a type of breading similar to tempura) which were so tasty. Definitely a must if visiting Keith at all!

Visited here at lunch time and despite it being quiet we waited around 10 minutes to be served. The batter was soggy and we weren't impressed with the chips
