Passing by early afternoon last week and stopped off for a panini and coffee. Ordered from the guy inside and took a table outside. The tuna panini arrived - it was fine but no coffee. Asked the waitress who then brought it out, apologising. Went in to pay, the bill was crazy. Guy asked me if I'd had two paninis - no I said. Just one panini and one coffee. "Not two coffees"? No, I explained the one I'd ordered from him hadn't arrived, so I asked the waitress outside. He corrected the bill and apologised .I felt it was indeed a genuine mistake, but as it wasn't busy it was all a bit of a hassle.

Having eaten here over the last 8yrs whilst visiting family this restaurant continues to deliver good food and great service... from the previous owners to the current ones it still maintains a varied menu and tasty fresh food . I chose the Mediterranean Superfood Breakfast and it was really good my husband had the small cozy breakfast which was well cooked and enjoyed . We will definitely return a few times during our family visit

My first time at the cafe and was a very good experience. Even with a reduced menu due to the reopening restrictions many breakfast and meals options are offered. Friendly staff nice food and service. Definitively I’ll be back when it is fully operating.

I visited this place on a Saturday brunch time with a friend. We turned up and it was great to see it busy! We visited during the easing of restrictions in covid. There was hand gel on arrival and all staff were wearing face coverings. The food was really good however service was a bit slow. Smaller touch ups could be made, the waitress came across as very busy and almost unapproachable. She slammed our drinks down on the table and stormed away, same with the food. Same with ordering, there was no “hello, how’s your day” it was just straight away “what can I get you?”, no smiles either. I did also notice a customer who had their table facing the toilet and asked the waitress if there is any chance the toilet door could be left shut as customers would Leave it open and I appreciate no one wants to eat their breakfast staring into the loo. The waitress didn’t make any effort at all to shut the toilet door after he had mentioned. I shut it twice and he shut it 3 times even after mentioning it. Our table was right next to the cutlery trays and coffee machine and therefor it was incredibly noisy and I feel like the waitress could have made more of a conscious effort to be quieter when getting cutlery and talking. They would stand right behind our table chatting loudly to the point when i ended out shouting to my friend to have a conversation. Overall the food was really good and it felt clean but I probably wouldn’t go back.

A plethora of vegetarian and vegan options, great tasting food, calming and thoughtful interior design, great value for money. If you’re into comfort food where you know what to expect in regards to taste and options, when you really don’t have to be hard pressed to find desirable food options, look no further than The Cosy Kitchen in Beckenham. A plethora of vegetarian and vegan options, great tasting food, calming and thoughtful interior design, great value for money. Menu Options The menu can be described as ‘controlled extensive catered to all’ because it features breakfasts, salads and light mains to suit everyone. I also was impressed by their Vegan, Pescatarian and Vegetarian options because there truly was something for all tastes. If I was to name a target customer I’d probably guess it was for the post yoga session or gym bunnies who fancy something light before they continue their day. The prices were reasonable too with everything we had eaten being in the region of around £27 which was for two mains and two drinks. Catering to Preferences If I were to have one criticism, it would definitely be the lack of ‘favourable’ halal or kosher substitutes for the pork sausages and bacon because not all non-pork eaters fancy leaves or ‘veggie’ sausages. I chose the Mediterranean Superfood plate which is one of a lot of Vegetarian and Vegan choices. I loved it! The spinach was cooked well, the avocado was ripe and tasty, the portobello mushroom was nice as were the eggs which I had sunny side up. I found myself really enjoying the halloumi and tomatoes which are two things I tend to avoid but the only thing I didn’t eat on the play was the sour dough bread. Final thoughts… I was impressed by the food as much as I was impressed by the lighting and how comfortable their chairs were which made the slippery tables bearable. There’ll be no doubt in my mind that The Cosy Kitchen will definitely see me again but hopefully when I return thee’ll be desirable pork substitutes such as beef, turkey or venison which cater to the halal, kosher, et al crew.

I have visited Cosy Kitchen a few times now, willing it each time to be better as the interior is so nice. The food has consistently been OK and the service to match, although this is down to an understaffing issue. However, something I think definitely needs to change is their response to Covid- 19: the staff do not wear a mask and/ or visor, the menus are reused and there is no social distancing measures in place inside.

My partner and I visited here on a Saturday lunchtime, we got a seat easily outside. The service was nice. I had the eggs royale which was very nice (although slightly underdone eggs for my liking, everything else was great) and my partner had a tuna baguette which wasn’t great at all. It was a plain white baguette with only average tasting tuna mayonnaise, no cucumber, leaves, salad on the side or anything. My eggs came with a side salad which it didn’t need as well so they definitely could have just swapped them over! It was definitely not worth the £5 something we paid. We could have gone down the road to M&S and got a better quality baguette with more filling for much less. I’d also like to see more interesting fillings for the baguettes, would come again if this changed.

Having visited here since being refurbished and rebranded from its previous name ‘The Big Breakfast’, and sitting at home in lockdown, thought I’d give a mention to the lovely food and service that I received when eating at this establishment. My visit before Covid-19 saw me enjoy a great vegetarian breakfast and a cup of nice English Breakfast tea. Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed this and found it to be very tasty! I found staff to be attentive, polite and prompt with pricing reasonable. Looking forward to returning again when i am able to and would recommend you do the same.

Been many times, good food for the price. I’ve had better but paid more than double! It’s close to work and we use it often. The spice is nice and hot, I ask for Vindaloo style at some places and it comes like a korma! You won’t be disappointed here👍

Pretty poor Tesco. Wouldn't advise using the scan as you shop if your doing a big shop because the "we think you're a thief" check is half your shop! Also the way they tag items, even if you don't get selected for their random checks you're going to need to empty your shopping to find what is setting off the alarm. Hard to find a large trolly that will hold the scanner anyway. Store layout is not great and the aisles don't line up with each other. Best before dates are usually only one or two days for fresh produce. The only chicken portions they sell are breast, rarely any thigh. The pharmacy seems to only have branded products, so 4x the price for the same thing. Parking is actually a lot better than I'd expect though, and there is a petrol station too which is good. Probably a suitable store for a small shop or a top up shop. Best avoided for big shops.

Meal for five us including drinks. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the chocolate fudge desert was yummy. Quiet night so not loud ambience great. We were very well looked after by our very friendly waiter / manager Zeeshan he was brilliant good banter over football teams...
