Between 3 of us, we ordered 5 dishes- totally unnecessary (as the portions are generous), yet absolutely required! (to come across such authentic Indonesia food in remote Wales!) Both local (fabulous brunch) & exotic (can’t sign enough praises for the laksa, gado gado, and babi gurling we had) choices are spot on- the chef’s done incredible justice using ingredients from here & afar. We left happy, and feeling a bit unwise for the long drive ahead🤣 a total gem- thanks and all the best!

As a South East Asian from Singapore this was an unexpectedly pleasant find! The food was delicious an incredible comfort for someone away from home and missing regional cuisine. Would definitely recommend!!

Came here for brunch with our dogs, so glad to have found somewhere in Llantwit that allows them in. The food was lovely, really good quality, especially the sausages which come from the local butchers. The reason I knocked off a star however was because I requested my poached egg be changed to something like scrambled, because I was pregnant at the time and nervous about eating raw egg (as poached eggs can sometimes be a little under-done in order to preserve the runny yolk). When I asked this, I was told (quite rudely) they don't do adjustments. I thought it was a joke at first. After explaining why I wanted the change, they said the best they could do is give me a well done poached egg. This was fine, but I just found the interaction a little odd and ultimately they did adjust my meal so I didn't really understand the issue. Overall it was good, I was happy with my meal and everyone else enjoyed theirs. I just think the service could have been slightly more polite.

A very nice little cafe. Good service and great food. A good range of Indonesian and European dishes. I had a Balinese pork belly dish - Babi Guleng, and it was delicious. Recommended

Excellent freshly cooked food, booked for 1.30 and we were told that everything is cooked to order. The wait was around 30 minutes. Cannot fault the quality or service

The Indonesian food is very good and we enjoyed what we ate, however after ordering, the owner came to our table to complain that we had not ordered enough food especially since we had brought our own alcohol because this affected his profit. It is not licensed and it advertises that it is byob. He made it clear that we were not welcome. We had ordered 3 starters and 2 main courses and would have had dessert had the kitchen been able to provide it. We were silenced by this and in hindsight wish we had left then.The young man who served us was charming.

We went to Corner by Siti for their balinese taster night for valentines day and the food was incredible. We had so much food, tried new things, there was a mix of everything and it was something we had never experienced before, right in the middle of Llantwit Major. You could bring your own bottle of wine, free corkage, and the complimentary rose was a treat. Highly recommended!

Lovely proper homemade food. Unfortunately some oriental herbs are not to my palate, but that does not detract from the overall quality. the breakfasts with their homemade sourdough is tremendous. the pastrami, which is homemade is out of this world. The owners are extremely pleasant, it's a vocation, not a job. I don't as often as I should... I don't know why, but I aim to make a conscious effort from now on.

Very tasty, fresh and excellently presented food. Ian is excellent at taking care of people. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back regularly.

As a Dutch person, I was pleasantly surprised to come across an Indonesian restaurant. We had a delicious lunch here. The local and Indonesian dishes are of very good quality, I can definitely recommend this restaurant for its food, price/quality, service and atmosphere.

Came here for morning coffee and scone - great atmosphere, drinks and service. Went for a walk along the coast and then came back for lunch (having been intrigued by the Indonesian menu). Nice lunch, really good and interesting food and again great service. Would highly recommend 👍👍

I was here with my family. Making reservation was greeted by Ian who was the owner of the restaurant, and the captain of the front of the house. :) We had an amazing afternoon, extended hours lunch as we were taking our time to savour the Indonesian delightful cuisine. I am from Indonesia, the minute I arrived at the restaurant, the warmest friendly welcome from both Ian and Siti (the chef!) took me back home instantly. Everything we ordered was very tasty. Called in for a late lunch. Didn’t really know what we fancied and were greeted with an extensive menu, everything sounded delicious! We opted for a brunch and 2 Indonesian dishes. All superb, quality and flavour amazing and portion sizes were really good too. Service was excellent, lovely to hear about the dishes along with recommendations, super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return as we had such a wonderful meal and can’t wait to try out more of the dishes! A real quality find.

Fantastic surprise to find authentic delicious Indonesian cuisine in rural Wales. Very friendly, attentive service. Food freshly made. We had Beef Rendang and the Tonseng Kambing special.

My friend and I visited here, as we were let down by another restaurant locally. We were extremely lucky to have ended up eating here! The food is fresh, different and extremely tasty!. The service was impeccable, felt extremely relaxed and welcomed. You can also bring your own alcohol which is great as I spent more on the food! We visited the restaurant to celebrate my Mums 60th birthday. I was initially a little nervous as the only vegetarian of the group a number of the dishes were not available having already sold out at lunchtime; however I needn’t have been as the restaurant provided an alternative which was delicious. The best nasi goreng I have eaten outside of Indonesia. Everyone commented what delicious food it was. Thank you for providing great service and really tasty wholesome food that is hard to find these days. We will be back!

Been here a couple of times now whilst visiting family and each time it has been great. The food they cook for you is delicious. This is going to be a regular thing from now on everytime we come down to stay. They don't have an alcohol licence though, but you're welcome to take your own in to drink.👍🏻

A very nice dine in experience, with excellent food and service, and an added bonus of BYO. 4 of us dined on Saturday and we all thoroughly enjoyed our starters and main course. Unfortunately no room for a dessert. Given the opportunity we will definitely return.

A lovely unassuming cafe from the outside - while my husband was working here I found somewhere to have coffee … which was just the right amount of smooth, yet rich and full. Once again we had a fabulous meal cooked by Sitti, there's a few new dishes to try,fresh tasty, well presented food, Sitti is a chef that cares about what she produces out of her kitchen, try it, you won't be dissapointed. After several day-time visits, this was our first booking for dinner. After making choices from the table menu we spotted a specials board. Something to have a go at next time! My wife and I shared a starter and after enjoying canned drinks, we started on the bottle of wine we brought with us. The main meals were fabulous, as pictured. They were a triumph of amazing taste and mild heat. Our service was friendly, attentive and slick. The whole experience was fabulous.

We had a soup of the day and desserts. Both were amazing. The desserts are absolutely delicious!😍

Went to visit for my birthday. Uncomplicated & simply decorated with beautiful wall-pieces and soft music. Food doesn’t disappoint with a lovely satay tempeh and spring rolls . I also chose the celebration dish and it was a delight. The couple run it do it with simplified grace. Highly recommend! No photos as we enjoyed all too fast :)

We popped in with our trainee guide dog for a snack. It was a great experience of the cafe aspect of this smart restaurant. We had foamy hot chocolate and a warm scone with delicious jam and cream.

Came here yesterday with my family and it was delicious (with lots of vegan-friendly options) - we went for the vegetarian spring rolls, the Gado Gado, and the tofu Nasi Campur Bali. All brilliant with friendly service and we had a great time.

Having grown up in South East Asia - I can honestly say, Siri’s food tastes like home. They were very careful to cater to my allergies, and very kind about it! We had the spring rolls to start - not your average spring roll. These were huge, crispy and piping hot! For mains, I had the Nasi Goreng with Chicken Satay - the sauce was delicious and the rice was cooked perfectly and was packed full of veggies. I can’t recommend enough!

My mother and myself visited this wonderful gem of a place today. Firstly I was struck by the cleanliness. Greeting us was the owner. He was very friendly and professional. We ordered a coffee and a cappuccino, delicious. Along with that the lemon cheesecake. Well, what can I say but AMAZING! It was the most delicious cheesecake I've ever tasted. The owner explained that it was a set cheesecake and not a baked one. We can't wait to return with friends in a few weeks. I also intend to go for an evening meal with my husband and then with friends to sample the Indonesian food. You must visit this lovely place. It's quaint, beautifully run and scrupulously clean. It's a pleasure for me to write such a positive review. It's so nice to find a family run business of this quality. Wish I'd taken a photo of the cheesecake 🙄, I was too busy savouring every mouthful! 😄

The ONLY place for authentic and beautifully prepared Indonesian cuisine in South Wales. An absolute must.

We went and we truly really want to love this place, it is fantastic to see the non-typical cuisines opening up in south wales, I think we are all bored of the choice of bad westernised Chinese/curry houses. We left disappointed. The highlight of the meal was the starter Gado Gado, although the sauce could use a little work. We were a group of 4 so we took a good selection of the starters and mains so we could all try the various flavours. The main courses were all different on the menu however they all seemed to be based off of the same two sauces, basically tasted the same with a variation of either rice or noodle with a different protein. The Black glutinous rice for desert, which we were really looking forward too as this is a favourite of ours was completely wrong, the rice was more like a slab of cake with coconut milk poured over it rather than the delicious rice pudding like texture it is supposed to be. There is a lot of potential in this restaurant but I personally believe that the owners have skewed the menu too far to what they believe British tastes are, and are loosing the magic of authentic Indonesian cuisine. This was shown when we were warned repeatedly by the husband that the main we were ordering were hot and were we ok with that, when we answered to the affirmative we were looking forward to a nice hot main, it wasn't at all, it was mild. They still came over to check it wasn't too hot for us! Please trust your customers, mark on your menu if its hot and actually make it authentically hot. Is great to see new restaurants opening up, would love to see this place make a proper go of it, but calling it a Indonesian restaurant seems a bit of a stretch at the moment, maybe Indonesian Inspired?

The Indonesian food we had here was delectable. Gado-gado especially had a luscious sauce, and the cod in banana leaf was marinated and infused to perfection. It’s BYO to boot. Please keep this place going, as an alternative to curry houses (of which, let’s face it, everyone’s sampled enough).
