Such good food, such a lovely friendly team. All day breakfasts are brill, lunch too, and fab cakes and desserts. Something for every taste.

Had the most delicious brunch here today with my son and daughter. We chose to sit outside as weather was glorious ☀️ and all chose the Farmers Breakfast with various hot drinks. Drinks came quickly and food followed shortly after. We all battled toward the end with daughter and I wondering if we should have chosen the Farmers Wife 😂 but after a few pauses actually very little left in the end! Service was fabulous and we loved the vibe coming from the kitchen: happy, singing chef = great food! Thank you team Colliers!

Wonderful Brunch! A great range of seating options inside and out. The Full English Breakfasts were a great portion size and came out quick and hot. Nice atmosphere and welcoming staff topped it off. Definitely recommend.

Had food yesterday, Super, grandsons said they were the best chips ever! Baked potato salad for me, everything we had was really good.

We drove past the Colliers several times before we ventured in. It is. Great cafe and Farm shop. Great staff and also a really good menu. I must mention the cakes, yes you have to be careful as they not only look good but taste great as well. Finally I must mention it is also a favourite with our two dogs. They have sausage and dog biscuits in a dog bowl what more can I say. So that is my excuse to visit regularly the dogs “drag” us in.

I have been visiting this place for the past 12 years with my son and cannot speak highly enough of everything about the whole place!! The staff are always really attentive and friendly and the food is always of the highest standards. The food is all locally produced and the fact that you have to pay a little bit more for the additional quality is fine by me. The farm shop has everything in it that you could possibly need and again the quality of every single thing in there is excellent! The white carrier bags in the farm shop are a little bit on the large side but I guess that just gives you the opportunity to put a little bit more stuff in them!! Fabulous place to try!!!

Went for a birthday breakfast, great menu choice ! Staff very friendly and helpful. Sat outside in the sun, service was outstanding. Recommend the waffles with fresh fruit ! Cake looks delicious Would visit again, if in the area

Really good place to have lunch. Sandwich was excellent and staff were very friendly. Milkshakes are lovely too, can highly recommend. Lovely shop next door too which sells a range of jams and curds alongside many other items.

Lovely place. Fire lit dining area and super food. Waitress service excellent. A little gem!

Really welcoming place and staff. Lovely flaming wood goes on a cold day. Great, varied menu with plenty of options for vegetarians like me. Reasonable prices considering the very generous portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Awesome! Everything about this little gem speaks quality. Farmers breakfast today was sooo fresh, local produce and no skimping on portion size. Service second to none, cannot recommend enough! Well done ladies!

Really wasn’t happy with the customer service here at all. Food was ok once my order was corrected but sausages on breakfast were black Not very good value for money at all. £19 for a very basic cooked breakfast and a coffee!!

Lovely food, does get busy and not many soft furnishings so some rooms echo which can make it difficult to hear when busy. Apart from that it's always been a pleasure eating here

Fantastic place for family dining. Service is very good and the food is absolutely delicious. There's a kids play area and a lovely farm shop. Highly recommended.

First time at The Colliers and it won't be the last. Menue is not extensive but plenty of choice. I had a fresh fruit waffle with yoghurt and honey and it was lovely. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. The specials looked interesting too.

Beautiful food, beautiful service and great hospitality. Lovely Christmas touches this time of year including a delicious reindeer shaped waffle and christmas hot chocolates. A lovely touch to a lovely place.

We have always bought our cake from The Colliers as it has always been amazing, but the last handful of times it has not only been really, really dry and stale but it has halved in size and also gone up in price. I did mention it to a staff member several times, but won't be buying it from there anymore.

I've eaten here many times and the breakfast has been enjoyable, but I'm a bit disappointed that the price of the breakfast has risen again. Sorry but I can't justify £12.50 for a breakfast. I'm out!

Friendly smiling face to welcome you as you arrive and the place is clearly popular for all the right reasons. We had the full breakfast and lovely big pot of tea to wash it down, the food was excellent and beautifully presented right down to the beans placed in a heated dish to put on your breakfast as and where it suited, thank you for a lovely meal that set us up for the day!

Went here today for lunch.Met promptly at the door by a member of staff,and told to choose a table of our choice.Ordered the farmers breakfast and my wife ordered the farmers wife breakfast.,plus tea and coffee,all at a good price.Orders came super quick,and were very tasty to say the least...We can highly recommend this place,definitely returning again and again in the future.Wonderful place.!!!

Only went to see what the fuss was about I tried the milkshake and had an ice cream. I loved them both. Next time im going to try the breakfast. The staff were lovely and I'll definitely be returning. Nice big carpark too always a bonus

Came here 9 months ago and wasn't all that impressed, leaving a 3-star returned. Returned a few days ago and can honestly say it was the best breakfast I've ever had. The service was very slow, the tea was weak and the toast could have done with being done longer - but those are the only complaints. The service being slow doesn't matter if you're not in a rush and perhaps we were impatient with the tea. The food, though - delicious. The farmer's breakfast was amazing, every bit of it. It isn't the cheapest place in the world - we had some extras (sausages and toast) and it came to just over £40 for the two of us, but you're clearly paying for quality. Would quite happily return again to see which of the two visits shows the genuine side. I reckon it's this one as other people do rate the food here.

Stopped in for breakfast on the way to Hay on Wye on a Thursday morning. Beautiful breakfast including vegetarian options. The vegetarian breakfast was lovely as are the traditional breakfasts and all the other options. Wonderful farm and general store and a few plants.

I visited today with myself, my daughter and my mother. I’ve never eaten out with my daughter due to her being multiple allergy. But we decided to try somewhere that my mother loves. I just want to say how beautiful the food was: the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure no allergens were present- the allergy listings were shown to myself and even the packaging of foods brought out to ensure my mind was at ease. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating; knowing there’s now somewhere I can go to with my daughter means so much. I cannot recommend the staff and experience/food enough. It was such a pleasure to visit and we cannot wait to return

We popped into here near the start of a longish journey for a weekend away on spec for a coffee and bacon sarnie to take out. The coffee was superb, easily the best I've had in the area and the bacon sandwiches were also really good. The service was very friendly. We were so impressed we stopped for a late lunch on the way home as well. Again the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Real little gem, definitely somewhere we will visit whenever we head out that way now we know it's there.

Been few times as convenient meeting place for group of friends going out in cars are bikes. Nothing bad to say. Friendly clean and good food.

Fantastic breakfast. Staff go above and beyond. Cosy when it's a wet day and lovely outdoor area for when its sunny.

Very average experience. Food left a lot to be desired. Dogs allowed in and unfortunately 2 peed on the floor in the same area during our visit. Not ideal. One owner took responsibility and cleaned up best they could. The other dog owner just did an "oops" gesture and took their dog outside. Still ...could have been worse I suppose 🫣🤔. Sadly though, I won't be going back

What a place! We popped in thinking we’d have a quick bite but this place is so much more. Everything about it was spot on from the moment we were greeted to actually getting our food which was perfect. We had a Burger with Caramelised Onions and Fish & Chips. So so good and I must give a particular shout out for how good the chips are. Better than most chippies and really set the tone for the standard of food there. Can’t wait to go back.

Food wasn't great,and had to wait for table then wait for food which I sent back, will not be going back although the shop was nice

It's only a farm shop cafe not a restaurant but fish n chips was £14. Overpriced I'd say. Fish not particularly large and chips were hard/undercooked. To top it all, went into the farmshop for some vege and none of it was priced, as was most of the stock! The woman was not particularly pleasant when I mentioned the vege and simply said 'it depends how much you want'! Overall very disappointed. Needless to say we shall not be returning! Time was when it was excellent and I would have awarded 5 stars not 1.

Lovely place to visit and have found the food to be excellent every time. A lot of the time it's always busy and you may have to wait a bit but well worth it and the produce is all locally sourced, it's like the old saying , you get what you pay for. It's Always nice to go there. For us it's become like a meeting place with friends. Sometimes service is a bit slow,but it can be busy on weekends. Prices are good,and hopefully they're using local food.

Pleaseant dining experience, food was ok but it was only a breakfast , jot a fan of beans coming in one dish then to be shared , but probably seen as a ' fancy ' way of erving beans 😊

Quite honestly I am beyond shocked at the way in which we have just been treated. We had to ask to have our order taken, and even then we waited 45 minutes before we even received drinks. We asked how long the food would be and the waitress made us feel utterly humiliated by her hostile attitude. She didn't apologise, simply responded defensively that the kitchen was busy. The food came out after one hour, and if we hadn't been so hungry by that point, we would have left it. The beans were dried and stewed to mush, the fried eggs were hard, the tomatoes were green, and the black pudding was particularly awful We never even received the tea and coffee that should have been part of the breakfast. Nevertheless, in spite of explaining all this, we received a bill for the full amount, which included the tea and coffee we hadn't had. At the end I asked to speak to the manager who turned out to be the same waitress who has been so hostile earlier. She arrived at our table with folded arms, with an equally hostile back-up, who also stood with her arms folded, which felt quite intimidating. I started out with a full acknowledgement that I understood how difficult hospitality could be, and that I knew they were busy. We had simply wanted to provide feedback and I specifically asked if she would take it in that spirit. We would have been happy to pay the bill, if the tea and coffee had been taken off it. Unfortunately, both the original waitress and her back-up were incredibly hostile, and refused to listen, or to accept our feedback. They insisted we had been told about the delay when we arrived which was categorically untrue. The whole situation became something like a stand off, at which point I said I wasn't inclined to pay full price, at which point the waitress-manager said "leave, just go". I can honestly say that in fifty five years on earth, this was the worst eating out experience I've ever had. I've never been told to leave an establishment before for giving justified feedback. Unbelievable really. I'm still reeling from it, feeling quite shaken. If it wasn't so shocking, it would be laughable.
