Paid over £6 for bacon egg and mushroom sarnie and coffee wouldn't have minded the price but there was only 3or 4 slices of mushroom in egg was snotty the bacon was cooked well but when they asked if I wanted Brown or White I assumed it would be in a bun (roll, bap) but to my surprise it was in between to slices of white soggy bread. The coffee was good to be fair. Won't be in a hurry to return.

We popped into the cafe for coffee and cake . pleasant staff and nice mug of coffee but due to a very noisy table of women it was not an enjoyable visit.

A lovely warm place at the end of a long walk on a cold, cold day. The cafe was clean and welcoming. Food all homemade. The cheesescone was tasty - I'm a bit of a cheesescone expert so I think I know what I'm talking about - although butter too hard (a common problem in cafes, which makes spreading difficult).

Visited today with my friend and our dogs. We sat in a separate room with the dogs which is great as not everyone is a dog lover. The cafe was lovely, staff very friendly and food was lush. Would definitely return and recommend 😍😊

Popped in on a Monday lunch for hot chocolate after a trip to the park with my children, was busy but service was fast and efficient. Had a beautiful sandwich- homemade Coronation chicken, beautifully fresh seeded bread, homemade coleslaw and salad. My girls had a grazing board and a crumpet, all fresh and promptly demolished!Lovely coffee. Hot chocolate and milkshake were very well received! An asset to a small village, will definitely return.

Quite a pleasant coffee house in Wylam's main street but no other competition in walking distance & a tendency towards complacency. On two seperate occasions I've asked for warm milk with our americanos but only cold milk was brought to our table..Two americanos and two scones for £9.40 isn't very good value.

After a lovely walk in Wylam with the dogs, my friend introduced me to this little cafe. We sat outside but it is dog friendly inside. We both went for soup, which was delicious served in a big bowl with a slice of bread & butter. I would have preferred a bun or at least chunky bread. We both got cakes to take home & they were also lovely. Good selection of hot & cold drinks

Wylam is an ideal village for for a stroll around and particularly up the old railway line path to the bridge over the river Tyne. Incorporating a stop at the Coffee Tree in the heart of the village makes it even more worthwhile. The food is of excellent quality with a good hot and cold sandwich and small plates menu supplemented by daily specials. In addition a very good range of scones, cakes and sweets are available.Nice modern decor with tables not too close together creates a pleasant atmosphere. If it is very busy you will be advised that a short wait will exist for the prepared meals but that does detract from the nice experience. An enjoyable visit in a pleasant setting.

Coffee shop on main st. The cakes we had were sweet and texture heavy . Quite expensive for what we had . Disappointing overall. Service ok.

We were lucky to be seated quickly, this was a very busy coffee shop. Drinks and food ordered, we were not disappointed. All freshly made, and delivered with a smile. A lovely place to visit while out walking.

On the high street in Wylam this coffee shop covers the bases you'd expect and is a pleasing reminder that independent coffee shops can be much nicer than the ubiquitous chain shops - table service and fresh homemade food that isn't pre-packaged.

This is a quaint little coffee shop on the main street in Wylam, near to Hadrien's Wall Path. The service was friendly and the coffee was good. It was a nice place to sit and relax for a few moments.

My hubby & I called in for late breakfast after he’d been for a run. It’s a lovely little cafe. The coffee is delicious as were the breakfasts. Service was quick & food freshly prepared. You can take well behaved dogs into the area at the back.

Large chain, standard menu offerings, busy, noisy setting, but good sea views, nice outside area. Food came quickly once managed to order at the busy bar. Burger sauce was the best item. Small burger Pattie, creamy coleslaw, hubby had monkfish scampi, bit over battered. Both sets of chips under cooked, when we were asked how our meal was, our reply was just received with blank stare and no response before waiter cleared our plates and left! Buffet breakfast the following morning as we expected! Basic sausages, overcooked black pudding, the bacon, mushrooms and hash browns ok, had run out of baked beans, but at least you could order different eggs if didn’t fancy fried.

It was ok but nothing to push the boat out for. My daughter wanted chicken tikka panini but apparently had no tikka, I asked for a sandwich on brown bread cake but they had no brown bread cakes left. Really?? And this was only just after noon. Nothing special about the ham sandwich which all in all tasted bland. The dog ate most of it.
