Wow! Hidden away in the Crossroads nursery this lovely little coffee shop and eatery is well worth the search. Run by a lovely chap who cannot do too much for you and your culinary desires this is the perfect place to revive after perusing the plants and flowers in the nursery. A very eclectic menu offers all the coffees you could want (with non-dairy if required), tea and cold drinks. All the regular coffee shop snacks - paninis, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps (so full they might overflow the plate), cakes and bakes, and new on the menu is MASSALA FISH AND CHIPS! Just had to try this today. So glad I did it was a firm fleshed fish like basa, which I’ve had at home, and coated in a lovely mix of spices that was just hot enough to warm your tongue but not enough to put you off. So tasty! We sat inside this time due to the less than hot weather but usually we are in the garden tables and service to either is fast, accommodating, friendly and non-intrusive. Pay a visit if you are a tourist or a local, gardener or just hungry you will not be disappointed.

Would definitely recommend a visit to The Coffee Pod, it's hidden away inside the Crossroads garden centre in Hollym, East Yorkshire. Very friendly and welcoming staff/owner. The food was excellent and the coffee was too. I had a Mocha, and like to think I'm something of a Mocha expert, this one was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and cakes, quiches etc all freshly made. Luckily I live less than 10 minutes away so will definitely be going again.

First time here. The service and ambiance was lovely. The bacon/Brie and Cranberry Panini was the best I’ve ever tasted 🤗 Highly recommended….

We had a takeaway last night and will not be getting one again. The tikka masala was like tinned tomato soup. Pilau rice had no flavour. I can’t understand why this place gets such good reviews for the good. It’s like it’s from the 1950’s. Do better!
