Bad service . I keep trying to call them and this lady keeps hanging up when I left my stuff there by accident . What is going on ….

Tasty and simple food, good value and a great place to pause for coffee and a sandwich when out shopping!

Absolutely lush. Staff are really nice. I had an all day breakfast and my mother had fish and chips.. Well worst the money we will be going back for a chicken dinner, as we seen them they look amazing as well.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat, I was served promptly and which was great and the quality of the food was really good, too.

Took an age to get served, we ordered drinks and apple pie. Sat for 25 mins waiting . My wife asked how long. We were then told there's a mix up in the kitchen and it will be with us shortly. After another 15 mins we decided to leave. Utter garbage.

Overcooked burnt steak pie with hard chips. Decaf coffee was watery and Luke warm. Couldn't eat or drink any of it. Still charged with no apology given. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!

Lovely all day breakfast with a cuppa for £7.90. Only suggestion I’d make is swap 2 basic sausages for 1 high quality one, then it would be perfect!

Lovely clean area Staff very friendly 2x meals lovely Mine unfortunately not very nice Panini rock hard Colesaw and salad drowned in balsamic vinegar which wasnt advertised Shame i got charged for this meal even thou it was sent back 99%complete

I had the all day breakfast here, my partner had the vegetarian option. Both meals were absolutely yummy 😋! We will be visiting again for sure.

Had a lovely cup tea Sandwich But the tables were trebble 6 with food on & the staff were just taken orders & passing the tables I think if there going back into the kitchen could picked the dirty dishes up & there was 4 staff on

Really nice traditional food at reasonable prices. Called in today for some lunch and was very impressed. Loved the food. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. This will now be my go to place in Newcastle for food during the day..👍

Food a reasonable price, and a range of hot and cold food is on offer. However, the food is not why I wouldn't return, the cold reception from the waitresses and the sense of irritation made for an unwelcome atmosphere, which clearly others felt to as it was dead compared to other places (why we didn't take that as a red flag I'm unsure). It all became clear why we appeared to be unwanted customers and why our food order was wrong (asked for no coleslaw but ended up with no crisps instead) as we were interrupting the staffs joint tea break, but lucky we came when we did as they ignored an elderly man who came in during their 'break'. As a waitress myself I know how tiring it can be plastering on a smile for annoying customers (the types who leave long reviews...) but, customers pay wages at the end of the day, and leave tips... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Extremely mediocre however the price reflects that. They don’t know how to make coffee which is ironic, my flat white was just an extremely milky latte.

Horror 'English Breakfast', one look at it and I nearly threw up.

I visit on a regular basis and am always happy to be a customer. Staff are pleasant and obliging, they have a wide variety of both cooked and cold food on offer.

Fantastic service went out their way to make room for us and room for my daughter who is in a wheelchair. Food was also lovely and a good price will definitely be back.

Phone manners from certain staff whilst calling cafe a disgrace
