Fantastic Atmosphere. Popped in here just for a drink. Warm welcome by the landlady and staff. Fantastic atmosphere, music and singing. Reminds me of New York St Patrick's day. Definitely return when next in London. Thanks for a great entertaining evening.

We actually planned to go to mexican restaurant right in front of this place but there was a 30 minutes queue. Indeed the dinner was amazing and the waitress was really nice. The location is very cozy and fascinating.

Llegué al "establecimiento" alrededor de las 10. 40 pm y fui al bar. ¡La persona del bar estaba demasiado ocupada hablando con sus amigos que no se dio cuenta de que queríamos pedir una bebida! ? ! ? ! ? ? Finalmente, ella preguntó qué queríamos, ¡al menos creo que lo hizo! ? ! ? ¡No entendí una palabra de lo que dijo! ! Tomamos nuestras bebidas y nos sentamos. Algunas personas en otra mesa se fueron, dejando tres copas de vino sin terminar; apenas salieron por la puerta del bar, cuando los "amigos" del personal del bar tomaron las bebidas inacabadas, las vertieron en sus propios vasos y ¡rápidamente las bebieron! ! ! ! ! ¡Se necesita "no desperdiciar, no quiero" a un nivel completamente diferente! ! ! ! ! ! ! ¡A las 11 pm nos dieron vasos de plástico para decantar nuestras bebidas y nos dijeron que nos fuéramos! ! ! ! We ate dinner upstairs. A good pint of beer and a decent selection of pub food. Between us we had steak and kidney pie, bangers and mash and fish and chips. All good

Yesterday I’ve been there with my friends to have some drinks and food. My friend, who is in a wheelchair was hungry. So I went upstairs to order something for him. I knew they didn’t serve food downstairs so I asked to talk to the manager to ask for permission to order something and then bring it down myself. The manager was very annoyed by my question and was extremely rude from the very beggining. He even said “is not my fault he is in a wheelchair”. English is not my first language so I felt I didn’t have enough tools to argue with him. However I tried my best to be kind and to make him understand the importance of my request. I really didn’t want to go downstairs and tell my friend he wouldn’t be able to eat. He was so nasty to me, to an extent that a table next to us stoop up to say they couldn’t believe the way he was taliking to me, and how badly the situation was being handled. I strongly believe this person is not up to scratch, and that he is totally incompetent for his position. I hope this review contributes to fight against discrimination.

It’s a nice-looking pub , I dig the wood bar and the floors. Its 2 stories so it has plenty of seating, but we were their early afternoon on Wednesday, so it wasn’t too busy, just a few locals hanging out. The Cock Tavern is a Samuel Smiths pub and has a nice selection of beers to choose from, from tap to bottled. After checking out the list of beers I went with an organic chocolate stout, this was a great tasting stout. If looking for a no fuss pub go check out the Cock Tavern.

Un repas simple et bien préparé. L'endroit est propre. Des serveurs agréables. Nous avons passé un bon moment. Les tables sont cependant très proches les unes des autres.

Arrivés vers 14 h, nous sommes allés nous installer confortablement à l'étage. La carte est classique et variée. Les bières proposées sont intéressantes (certaines sont spécialement réalisées pour l'établissement). Le service est rapide ( peut-être à cause de l'heure tardive). Burger de qualité

Un lugar sin mucha parafernalia, una taverna donde tomar cerveza y comer algún snack (no estoy seguro que haya mucha comida porque fuimos por la tarde). Pero la atención fue muy amable. Hay cerveza de mucha variedad y a buen precio. Recomiendo la white ipa.

Dropped in on a Sunday evening for a pint and returned on Monday evening for a meal. The wood and etched glass are beautiful and the ambience great. It is part of the Samuel Smith Brewery pub chain. The food was excellent and a fine selection of beers, reasonably priced. The washrooms were spotless and fresh. Highly recommended and a close walk from Oxford Street down Great Portland Street.

The selection of beers is very impressive and the food are delicious. Great atmosphere and the staff is excellent. Will be back

This is a cracking architectural delight. allegedly listed - and so it should be. Cracking pint of o.b. - although I had admittedly had a few by the time I got here! Yet another classic pub in the Sam's tradition, all the usual period features or feel, I don't think there's a bad 'un among them. Usual Sam's beers and bottled products, girl behind bar knew her stuff. Well recommended. The address is wrong by the way - it stands on the corner of Margaret Street and Great Portland Street, it's address being 27 Great Portland, W1W 8QE. And it's The Cock. No Tavern.

In a quiet street near Oxford Circus you find this charming pub. A lot of young people meeting for beer og G&Ts.; Nice and "original" decor.

...und somit vor allem auch typische "Bar-Speisen", damit halt leider nichts bis fast nichts für Vegetarier. Die Bedienung ist jedoch super freundlich und man sollte sich beeilen um an einem normalen Abend überhaupt einen Platz zu bekommen.

Tipica taberna Londinense, mucha madera, buena musica y buena cerveza. La combinacion perfecta! recomendable.

Fuimos allí para un desayuno salir con las universidades de trabajo. La comida es sabrosa, pero toma un tiempo para estar preparado y servido. precio es competitivo, pero hay muchos otros lugares en Londres ofrecen un desayuno caliente. El ambiente es bueno - un recuerdo de cafés de antaño. Vale la pena probarlo.

My husband chose this breakfast stop after seeing Anthony Bourdain's show where he visited the butcher shop and this tavern. We enjoyed going there due to the long history of the location and we wanted a traditional full English breakfast and beer after our nine-hour flight. In this regard, it certainly did not disappoint. It's a great way to sample black pudding, sausage, kidney, liver and steak all in on go. For early morning, there was a good crowd - a mix of businessmen, tourists, butchers and some who might have been left over from the night before. It isn't a posh place by any standards - the tables were a mix of leftover dishes and a sticky and greasy film and no one came by with a cloth to change it. Still, I recomend it to visitors interested in the history and a sampling of offal meats. I would go again.
