Often get a full English breakfast from here as a weekend treat. Good is decent and the staff are nice. Partner also likes the sandwiches for lunch.

While since I’ve been in here makeover and people say its new owners but I’m not so sure. Bank holiday Monday and choices for a breakfast is limited or should I say non existent. Cooked Breakfast - Bacon thick sliced lightly cooked, personal opinion too undercooked. Sausage has to be the WORST ever. Talk about mystery meat, or mystery what I don’t know. Again lightly cooked. Left about 1.5 of 2. Definitely using same brand as last visit they were as bad then. Beans bland and tasteless definitely bargain brand. Tomatoes chopped tinned can you go wrong with these? Fried mushrooms, again OK but bit tasteless. Black pudding again hardly seen the pan and far from the best either. Fried eggs, well that was the only bit that was over cooked, yolks solid. Toast nice thick brown with little packets of butter, although big hint one doesn’t cover one slice of toast. Tea well that was excellent, tasty, milk given in a tiny jug great as I take only a little. Service was pretty good, quite quick after order taken, really pains me to leave such a score. There was some really nice looking home made cakes but the quality of the ingredients of the breakfast make me not to want try anything else. Food (baring toast and tea) 1 out of 5. Service 4.5 out if 5. And for the record I did eat all baring the sausage it was fuel as I was ravenous could have ate the chair and gone back for the table leg.

Relaxed and enjoyable lunch with the family. Enjoyed a chai latte which is a drink not a lot of cafes will make for me. Food was great and the family friendly atmosphere was lovely. Thank you. Definitely worth a visit.
