Great food and excellent service, especially Ryan who is always friendly and so helpful no matter what the query is. Ryan ensured things got sorted out very quickly when part of the order didn't appear.

Popped in on a whim in the evening bank holiday monday (may 5) party of 8, kids and adults. Picky kids catered for and fantastic customer service as always. (Would prefer the cold cookie/brownie desert to be warm though 🙂)

Good food and a nice place. Cold staff, poor communication, waited approx 45 min for food when the restaurant was not busy at all.

Had the loveliest server, Tara. There were a few things we wanted to swap out on our meals and she made that happen without a problem which I was super grateful for!! Tara was friendly to us all, super patient and sweet with my little ones too - took the time out to interact with them. She really was fab. The food was out in good time given how busy it was - and it was super tasty. Well presented and hot. We had desserts too which I couldn’t fault. We were well placed in the family area so the kids could play, atmosphere was lovely too, family friendly.

This resturant has a lovely comfortable friendly feel to it. Polite staff. Food arrived hot and well presented. We look forward to our next visit.

Party of 9 adults 2 children. Table ideally situated, near children's indoor and outdoor play area. Room for mobility scooter near the table and Rollator. Close to toilets. A menu to suit all our tastes. Superb service from Ryan and the girls. Lovely atmosphere, comfortable chairs and tables. We love going here. This was a family re-union, some travelling 100 miles. We have used this venue many times for such re-unions. They are so accommodating. Children are happy and safe.

We ordered from the Thursday steak menu but the bill was incorrect. I was told I had ordered the 'wrong' rose - it doesn't say which one to have on the menu and I told the waitress I didn't mind, steaks were at the wrong price and I didn't like having to query everything on the bill. I also had to keep going up the bar to get service as noone was coming to us. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert so they lost that sale as well got fed up waiting. Hardly any customers in, so no excuse for poor service. Very disappointed and won't be back I'm afraid.

As always the food was amazing and ali who served us behind the bar also made it so much better . Very polite and lovely smile

Visited cobblestones today with my nan, 2 year old son and Husband. We had a waiter called Ryan who is the politest, friendliest waiter I've ever had in an establishment. We were greeted with smiles, he interacted lovely with my son and was calm and patient with us when I was trying to choose my sons order. Nothing was too much trouble, they also have a play area inside for children 5 and under which is where they allowed us to sit which meant my son was happily kept entertained whilst waiting for our order to arrive. Everything came fresh, tasted delicious and was great value for money. We ordered 7 drinks, 3 adult meals and 1 childrens meal and 2 deserts, with blue light card we only paid £69. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to give it a try.

We had a lovely meal, the food came in good time. The food was cooked correct, it was presented well with fresh vegetables all at a reasonable price. The young woman who served was very polite and professional and obviously enjoyed her job. Well done on all counts. We will be coming back. Thank you.

Cobblestones is a frequent choice for our family meals when we get together. The menu easily caters for our diverse requirements as a family (one gluten free, one vegan). The non-gluten menu is excellent. We were served by Holly who is always smiling and happy to help. Great alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks options for all to enjoy. Fully recommended if you’re looking for a nice meal out.

Despite the 3 Star rating there are some good aspects. Going back in history, we were the second people to walk through the door on their first opening day at March, we were the first couple to order Food and Drinks. So Unfortunately we are blessed with Experience of this Establishment and Experience of all those who have subsequently Run and Managed the Cobblestone, so our Expectations are a little higher than most people. The first nail 8n the coffin was Marstons Brewery selling off their Brewery Concerns to CARLSBURG, Imediately the PUMPS at the bar changed for the worst and have never recoverd in my opinion. Then we had COVID, and the ORDER VIA APP, was never Lifted after Covid, the Traditional Service was now split into TABLE SERVICE , APP and Order at the Bar ? It should have returned to Pre Pandemic Table Service. Breakfasts / All Day Breakfasts are Currently the Biggest Money Spinner for Cafes, Resteraunts etc. However Because Cobblestone Never Promoted ALL DAY BREAKFAST on its menus or advertised it on a Sighn Board, its hardly surprising it was doomed to failiure from day One, clearly as it was only WORD of Mouth that people knew they did a Breakfast no one asked for one, so it was Soon Dropped. Maybe some one from Marstons will pop over to HARTFORD MILL / MARINA (GREEN KING) at Huntingdon, ALL DAY BREAKFAST, CALVERY, GRILLS and ROASTS etc. They're always packed out with customers. It does appear that APP, is common thease days as even Harford Mill uses it ? So clearly I must be getting an old FT. However the thing every one has to remember is US older Citizens have the Money to Spend ? The young ones today are Skint, so appealing to older people who Re more Financialy Affluent is more Rewarding. What coursed me the greatest offence was after Celebrating our Aniversary every year withought fail after Reserving the same Table at Cobblestones since the first day it opend . Clearly this was Disrupted through Covid, however after Covid with the Different Service / App Service and then the Recent MANAGER from MARSTONS who was Duely Ruined Cobblestones Reputation. Unfortunately Marstons have been heavily in Debt for several years and selling off its Pubs and Resteraunts to Red Oak Taverns etc to concentrate on PUBS and not Resteraunts, clearly selling off their own BREWERY that made the Beer and Ale it sold in its own Pubs, to Avoid Major Investment to upset the Share Holders, was a Major Blow ? Sadly i suspect Share holders may force Marstons will be Taken Over ? We inevitable Reluctantly stopped our Tradition of celebrating our Aniversary here. We thank you for the service today, and give compliments for the Roast Dinners. yours, Mark. Ps, we heard one customer mention CALVERY ? a Calvery is a Hot Serve Area where Staff Carve the meat and put it on a Large or Small Plate, then you help yourself to pots of warm vegetables under heat lamps etc, You then carry your Plate back to your table to eat it. Please Excuse me, But I didn't see one ?

We visited Cobblestones on Thursday, we were greeted by Ryan who was very friendly and accommodating as we didn't book. The service Ryan provided was 10/10, and so was the food, which despite having a 30 minute waiting time, arrived within 20 minutes, so we were happy about that. Ryan and the rest of the staff at Cobblestones are always happy to help. We have visited a few times now and never had any issue with the service from the staff. We would recommend to others who are after a cheap and cheerful meal with staff that seem to enjoy their roles.

All the staff were brilliant especially with the kids food was cooked perfectly and the pricing of food and drinks was reasonable. We love the kids play corner it really does help parents relax knowing that an area of restraunt is built around kids being kids.

Came today for a quick meal with my mum, was seated and told a large amount of food was not available due to a grill issue- fine. Took a seat and was told someone would be over to take order, 10 mins and no one had come, tried to use order online and pay- would not work, saw the server go over to someone seated after us, smiled to try and get attention but still did not come over. Ended up going to the bar to order and was told quite rudely that it’s table service, tried to explain that we had been here 20 minutes and not even a drinks order taken but just to sit down. Sat down for 5 mins and no one came over so we left. Wasn’t very busy- very poor service!

We were given a friendly welcome on arrival and seated at our reserved table. To start myself and my husband had a prawn cocktail, and mum had soup. The prawn cocktails were one of the best we have had in a restaurant and mum enjoyed her soup. For main my mum ordered scampi, chips and peas, my husband ordered beef chilli, I initially ordered lasagne with garlic bread and salad, but the waitress informed me the chef said the lasagne contains chilli flakes. I cannot eat chilli, so I ordered fish and chips, but was told that it is cooked in the same fryer as the vegetable burgers, which contain chilli, so I ordered gammon, chips, and peas. Our mains arrived and when I cut into my gammon it looked very dry, on tasting it it tasted burnt, so I flipped it over and it was completely burnt black on the underside. The chef must have known it was burnt, but still served it by putting the burnt side down hoping I would not notice. The waitress apologised and another gammon came out shortly, which was cooked perfectly and tasted very nice. My husband and mum both said their food was very nice as well. Myself and mum ordered apple crumble and custard for desert and again it was nice. Everyone working here is very friendly, it was just a shame that I was served a burnt gammon, which is why I have given 3 stars as no restaurant should send out burnt food.

Had to wait 15 minutes to get served at a very quiet pub. Went back to get crisps to be told locked in cellar and the supervisor has the key but on her break, still waiting in hope of them! Gets better after 20 mins given 2 bags of Tesco crisps Free of Charge ,to find out they were a month out of date 🤐 Serious lack of Customer Service at this Pub, too many young staff with no people skills, walking around with straws hanging out of their mouths and attached to their mobiles !

I booked it as a belated mother's day gift. Having been a few times before, I knew it was the best place locally to take my mum. A friendly face greeted us at the door and showed us to our table. Staff were attentive without being a nuisance and swift with our orders. Food arrived in good time and as nice as we expected, with good portions. Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit and will definitely come again!

We booked online and arrived at our allotted time. The waitress behind the bar told us to "plonk yourself down there and I'll be with you in a minute" we headed to the play area (we had a toddler and baby with us) and waited 20 minutes with no one coming, so we ordered online. Half the options weren't available to order! Then we waited half an hour for our food to arrive. The restaurant was next to dead! It was an hour after our booked time by the point of eating. I had the chicken platter, not my first choice, but others weren't available, it was SO DRY. There was no buttermilk chicken, everything was breaded within an inch of it's life, the "popcorn chicken" was mostly breading and no chicken! The only decent thing about this restaurant is the fact there is a kids area with a few toys.

We booked for a table of 7. The staff were great and couldn’t have been more helpful. All so friendly. The food was excellent! All 7 of us polished off our burgers and desserts. This was the best meal we’ve ever had here!

Sat down around 3:30 for food with my partner, no attempt made to serve for about 15 minutes, Ended up leaving as there was no attempt to even come and ask for an order or offer a menu. Currently sitting next door eating kfc instead, wouldn't bother.

It’s been in the town now for just over 13 years and this is only my 4th visit due to its mixed and mostly poor reviews. Outcome today, bloody lovely and no complaints whatsoever. We had a fabulous lunch at a good price and with no issues. Big shout-out to Holly & Tara who looked after us so well.

Cold and dried up food after waiting an hour snd and a quarter - inedible

Although the food was nice and we'll priced, the overall experience was not great. Having been a regular visitor to cobblestones many years ago, this was the first time I'd visited in a few year. The place was grimey and felt in all honesty, depressing. Gone were the specials on the board and the 2 for 1 on main meals. The lady behind the bar gave the impression that she'd rather be anywhere else than working there and talking to my wife and I. There was no friendly interaction or making us feel welcome. There was no one asking if the food was OK or if we needed anymore drinks. I don't know if it was the time of day or what, but the whole atmosphere was a massive letdown against what it used to be. Will be a long time before I go back

Meal was good and the service was alright although a little gruff once we explained that although their was four of us we would need two bills but they sorted it out for us

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. The overall experience and atmosphere was very good. Highly recommend and the prices were very reasonable.

Turned up for snacks on a quiet Tuesday. Food served was piping hot and of great standards. The waitress was very helpful with my wife being a celiac. Very enjoyable experience. Drinks a little over priced for its location. Will be back

We had a lovely Xmas meal here, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was nice and hot and came out in a timely manner, we will definitely visit here again.

We booked, waiter told us to wait a couple of minutes until they clean the empty table. Waited for 25 minutes ended up sitting down and pulling the table to place for ourselves. No one came until I inquired at the bar. Waited another 40 minutes for the food. They served the food straight after we said we were leaving. Messed up our order I ended up with a vegetarian roast, my daughter was served an adult roast. The food wasn’t nice on the top of it all. Only a tiny portion of beef. I have never had such a bad experience in the whole UK.

The Cobblestones is a lovely place to go for a meal and I would not hesitate to return again, the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The food is served hot, quickly and is very tasty. There is such a range of food to choose from, plus a great children’s menu to choose from too!! Thankyou everyone for making my visit so enjoyable!! :)

We went here today for a Sunday Roast Lunch as part of a Birthday present for my step father. Sadly my mums food had to be returned because it was not hot and my roast chicken was incredibly dry. However I did not want to make a scene and so quietly spoke to Tara who I must say was very fair. We got money off the final bill plus the discount from my Blue light card. Tara was very polite, helpful and completely understanding. Everything a good manager should be. We will be returning, hopefully without any issues next time.

My girlfriends and I spent a fantastic evening at the Cobblestones. Rob and his team were so welcoming, the food was great and service exemplary. We weren’t rushed (as in many places) and will certainly be returning soon. Keep up the good work, as it is much appreciated!

As frequent visitors to Cobblestones we were welcomed warmly by Tara and guided to our spotlessly clean table. Food and drink orders were taken promptly but with the friendly disposition that Tara exudes. Food as always was tasty and presented beautifully. Can't wait until our next meal

Worst meal we have had for a long time ,burgers overcooked, and had to be sent back as inedible. If I hadn't been with family, I would have demanded my money back . The waitress was lovely and tried to rectify the situation . Avoid if you can

One of the best Marston's pubs we have had dinner at. Both the food and service were very good. We will certainly eat there again when next we are visiting March.

Diabolical. Ran out of roasts. Ordered alternative food. 4 out of 7 meals were either cold or luke warm after waiting 45 minutes for them to be served. Wont be returning

Table booked at half past one seated quickly 10 minutes early, due to us turning up early. Noone came to the table at all in the first 15 minutes and we couldn't catch anyone's attention so had to order online otherwise we would have been waiting a long time I think. Food and drink order went in at 1.47pm...... drinks came quickly. 2.30pm, we had to ask if our food (3 roast dinners) were on their way..... waitress checked with the kitchen and it would be 10 minutes (45 minutes is far too long!!!) 2.50 we had to ask yet again where our food was!! so 1 hour 10 minutes we still did not have any food. The food eventually arrived, and the wrong sauce was on one of the roast dinners!! we asked for them to change it. We then noticed we had no roast potatoes on any of the plates.... so we had to ask for those too....they eventually came out to us and we had to ask again for our change of sauce! Not a great experience this time round.... My friend and I meet at Cobblestones for convenience... I think we may have to head next door to the KFC at least we get food within 70 minutes there!!

Quick to take drinks and food order but went downhill from there. Food took an hour to arrive without explanation for the delay. Food was absolutely terrible, barely edible and all very cold. Roast turkey dinner portion was tiny. Roast potatoes tasted of garlic. Red cabbage was over cooked and a mushy mess. Hunters chicken had very little cheese, very little sauce and the bacon was anaemic. Chips were cold and floppy. All reported to the manager who offered a small discount. It should have not been charged for at all. Avoid this place until their kitchen gets their act together.

It wasn’t massively busy for a Friday night which was nice. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful. There were only two servers on though so at times it was hard to get another drink or add to our order as they were back and forwards.

I held my wife's 50th birthday party tonight at cobblestones and was blown away by the service we received. Our server was Cloe and she was very welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing and we will be going back soon.

Waited 50 minutes for food in a half full pub. The drinks we ordered were unavailable, so were changed to a cheaper option without a refund (I asked the question ref drinks and was told a small bottle if Pepsi diet was more expensive than a pint of Pepsi max, which was not the case against the menu options). No one advised us before being seated of the waiting time. The food was Luke warm when it arrived, the glasses for the drinks were sticky and cloudy in appearance, we drank out of the bottles. I could only see 2 staff, and they were unresponsive. The staff were handling dirty plates and crockery, cutlery and glasses when serving food with the same unwashed hands. I use Marstons regularly and this is just a shambles.

Turned a corner, when we first went it wasn't great, but the new management team and staff really have turned this around If you went before and didn't like it, try now - it's worth it

Had a lovely Sunday lunch today. Really generous portions and very yummy. We also had a lovely waitress,Holly, who was super helpful, very smiley and has an amazing memory!

Christmas dinner was absolutely beautiful. We were served by Grace she did a fantastic job very Professional and welcoming. Food was prepared and cooked by Ryan it was top-notch . Timing was perfect between causes. The food was delicious, hot and tasty.

Food took ages and took 1 hrs 30 mins for Mains to appear after we sat down. The pre-ordered food with specific instructions was ignored, as they weren't on the ticket for the chefs! All in all not a great experience

Food was OK, took an hour and a half for it to be served to us.

We booked a table for lunch at 12.30. The service was awful and we waited far too long for drinks and food. The starters were over cooked and the main wasn't hot. I feel the delay is to encourage you to purchase more drinks. We went for lunch and didn't leave until almost 4pm! Definitely understaffed and feel for Ryan. The management agreed to 10% off our bill but we won't be returning.

Nice staff but woefully slow food delivery, from arrival to main courses being served was about 1hour 45mins. Had to ask twice where food was as we got no feedback, kids got fractious, no offer of drinks or discount to compensate. When food arrived items were missing and had to ask for them. Starters overpriced for quantity. We were looking forward to this as it was my wife’s birthday and disappointed. Not up to previous standards and obviously understaffed. Will think twice about returning again

A meagre Christmas dinner cooked badly. Service was terrible, we had two courses then coffee and it took two and a half hours to complete!

We decided to take our Grandsons out for a meal on Friday 19th December, booked a table for 4pm as neither boys like hanging around too long, There was no table service which wasn’t a problem so ordered food and drinks and waited for our food, an hour later it arrived, fish was over cooked and everything seemed panicky, my husband and I regularly go for lunch but definitely won’t be going again at tea time, there were only two staff on plus the Manager, Sorry but this was a really bad experience, Ryan was running about trying to keep things pleasant but I’m afraid this wasn’t.

Excellent food went back for the mixed grill, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our table was booked for 1pm and our food arrived at 2.45pm. It was cold, overcooked, and not at all apertizing. Admitted we got 30% off total bill. But not a good experience

Got there for 7pm, and food arrived at 8:25. Chewy steak and very small amount of peas on the side.

Had to leave with no food. Waited almost 2 hours and no food, no updates. Terrible place. Used to be good but place has gone downhill.

We went to.the christmas elsa morning our 2yr old granddaughter loved it.

Went to Cobblestones when it first opened many years ago and wasn’t impressed. In the last month I have been three times and each time, it got better and better becoming really quite impressive. However tonight’s visit was like going back years. Table booked, we arrived early and was pointed to a table that was so close to the next table I hear their entire conversation. Strangely enough subsequent customers arrived who hadn’t booked, they were allowed to pick their own table. Food arrived after a long long wait. My mixed grill was average, with cold sausages while everything else on the plate was warm not hot. Ordered more drinks one being a sparkling water, the waitress brought over just a bottle of sparkling water without a glass. I asked her for a glass. She returned with one that was filthy. I took it to the bar and asked another member of staff for a clean glass she looked under the bar but couldn’t find one. A whole bar without a clean glass? Shockingly poor. A clean glass was found in the kitchen and eventually brought over to our table. Sorry Cobblestones just when I thought I had underestimated you wrongly, you proved tonight to be lacking.

The pub is always a joy to eat at. Food is very good.

Big no for us!!! Needs huge improvement on food! See pictures!
