The Coach House in North Somerset

Took some friends here for lunch on Wednesday. Car park surprisingly full for a weekday but this was because there was a function on in one of the bars. Despite being very busy the service and food were superb. Weekdays they have a selection of pensioners specials which are £9 for 2 courses and £10 for three courses, in addition to a varied menu. Nice choice of drinks at this Butcombe ( local brewery) pub. A friendly pub😀

We decided to try this eatery as we always seem to go to the same place and I had heard good things about this place. Inside it was very cosy with a country pub feel. The staff were welcoming - great ambiance! The food was AMAZING! The best vegetarian lasagne ever! Fab! Loved it. Bar staff were great. Served by jolly chap called Graham. Really attentive! This will be our new ‘same place’!

Best roast dinner in Weston super mare, only problem the locals think they own the place and that everything should go their way. Staff are fab and food is delicious

The owners want to try looking after the locals who are in there every weekend throughout the year helping to keep the business running and not just the people who come out the woodwork only for Christmas. The Owners behaviour and attitude stinks. They could really learn a lot by visiting other village pubs and seeing how they are run I.e. saying Hello when a local walks in or even knowing what a local drinks regularly. I will NEVER step foot in my local again and this is a real shame considering I once worked here and helped to make it a fabulous place to work and visit but not anymore. This will soon be another village pub on the market and sold for housing.

Nice little pub set in amongst a housing development so probably busy on weekends. Good size carpark. There was a group of 8 people in out birthday get-together we all ordered food wich arrived pretty quickly and pretty much all 2gethet wich was nice. Everything was cooked as requested so there were no complaints from anyone. Staff were super polite helpful. Had a lovely couple of hours out. The only criticism was the decor in arias were badly worn and the gents toilets are in need of a face-lift. Especially the rusting radiator They are no better than our previous visit about 18 months ago. So all in all great little pub friendly polite staff but if they paid bit more attention the the maintenance it would benefit them greatly. Though I would recommend as the food and staff were great. 👍

Went to the coach to take mum in law for dinner (🙄 great) On arival the pub car park was pretty much full. (To be expected in mothers day.) Pub was clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff. I couldn't help but notes some guy stood at the end of the bare without friends. He was dressed like a cross between female gladiator and a drag Queen his language was absolutely atrocious the staff asked him to stop using such foul language twice before we even sat down so my mood was set... We were showen to our reserved table wich had high wrap around backs on them wich were very comfy. I went to the bare ordered meals and drinks. Sat back down and the drag Queen was off again at the top of his voice like he was on his imaginary battle field, so I asked a member of staff politely to have a word with him before I did.by this time My blood was boiling. Expecting a nice quiet meal on mothers day but to have to listen to this weirdo wasn't good. The gents toilets looked very tired needing a bit of tlc the same stained rusty bottom on the radiator as about a year ago Misses said ladies toilets were tired looking too. Anyway back to the food. My mixed meat dinner £15 was no better than weatherspoons but tripple the price. Misses had burger and chips. It was all verry tasty but portions were very small. 1 portion of rump steak and chips. He said the steak was verry fatty but chips were nice. Mum in law had turkey dinner that she wad happy with pensioner portion. Best part of the occasion was deserts but can't go wrong worming deserts up in microwave though presentation wad poor a light dusting is chocolate power would of made deserts look so much better. Wouldn't really recommend especially not for special occasions. All in all very disappointing very average experience. Won't be returning any time soon.

Called for meal. I don't complain & didn't complain but. I ordered fish & chips for 2 . Chips were very scrappy & the fish was a bit wet inside the mushy peas were in a lump but all were hot & so was the plate. What did surprise me was that just as we finished our meals somebody turned up with fish & chips from the local chippy. The bag was on the bar top for the staff to eat which they did eat behind the bar. I think next time I'll just have a drink. Why didn't they the same meal as me and eat them out of site

Great selection of beers/ciders, food is varied, tasty and good value! There’s a pool table, dart board, Big screens in the sports room. What more could you want from a local pub/restaurant!

Out with friends and family. Decided to have a meal. Great value for money. Good food and varied menu choices.

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch, we all picked the roast meal. Very tasty plenty of meat, good choice of veg. All arrived piping hot. Lovely staff checking that all was fine with the meal. Plenty of room in the dining area. Recommend that you book if you want to have a meal at weekends

Had lunch there last Friday and really enjoyed the meal and chosen drinks. Had to arrive early at 12.15 due to a party of 23 arriving. No problems evident and the food was excellent. Served in very short time and each portion of Hunters Chicken ( x 3) and Faggots ( 1 ) was such we had difficulty finishing.

We went for a birthday Sunday lunch and were pleased with the quality of the food and the pleasant staff! Room could have been a bit warmer but I’m a cold body! We only got a small amount of veg and in hindsight I think we should have asked for another fish as most people seemed to have one dish for two people and there were five of us! The lamb and beef was good and great to have decent roasties! Not the cheapest roast but a good lunch. Thank you

Two of our 4 had the excellent Lamb Shanks and my Wife who is Coeliac had the Belly Pork which she also enjoyed however there was a limited choice of Gluten Free meals if that was not available (incidentally this was removed from the Notice board after we had ordered - so she was lucky) Good choice of Drinks and well mannered attentive staff - will go again and like this time we will book a table in advance

Always so nice.. really great pub food, cosy atmosphere and pretty garden. Last time we went they had a nice real fire going as well which was gorgeous! Always want to go back there. It's one of my favourite pubs for a family meal!

With new tennants in The Coach House they are really making an effort. The food is really lovely and a fantastic selection. The home cooked chips are to die for! The only slight criticism is that there isn't a huge selection of desserts. Will be great if this pub starts to get busy again as it really has been turned around. Well done the new tennants!!

Excelente relación calidad-precio, menú muy variado, con una oferta de una variedad de platos, 2 por 10 libras. Buen menú de bebidas había pitcher de strawberry Margarita por £7.99, que era preciosa! Brownie de chocolate compartido pud millonario con helado que estaba delicioso! El personal es amable y servicial. Lo recomendaría! X

Comedor grande dividido en secciones, con una zona independiente para los clientes con cuatro amigos de cuatro patas. Zona de estar bonito por fuera. Un menú variado y precios razonables. Visita frecuentemente y no ha decepcionado. También hemos comido el almuerzo del domingo, no, pero 3 opciones de asados de carne y una buena selección de verduras, lo recomiendo.

Mi pareja y yo fuimos durante un período tranquilo. La señora del bar estaba muy amable y con ganas de charlar y reír. Pedimos algunas hamburguesas y estaban tan genial. Definitivamente me voy a volver de nuevo. Precioso en verano ya que está justo en el sol y hay un poco de aire libre.

Mi madre vive cerca, así que siempre vamos en para la cena o el almuerzo de domingo y algunas bebidas. Un estupendo y agradable pub local con un personal agradable. Zona al aire libre grande y muy grande por dentro. La comida es excelente y los cambios de menú. Packed domingos a la hora del almuerzo

Bonito y viejo pub restaurante local. Una gran selección de cervezas y sidras de barril. Buena comida de pub de calidad a precios justos. Hay un montón de agradables paseos por el campo si te gusta eso.

went there for a family sunday lunch , Well never again did not have lots of the food on menu when we finally got food all orders were wrong and it was rubbish . trying to complain was a nightmare the bar manageress a woman called TONY WAS RUDE AND HAD NO INTEREST IN HELPING IN ANYWAY . we all walked out without food and went somewhere else to eat . WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN ..... TO THE OWNERS YOU NEED TO SORT YOUR STAFF OUT .

Visited on Sunday lunchtime and had the roast dinners. The food was about what you'd expect from a pub carvery and there was plenty of it. The service from Chloe fell short of what I expected. I felt as if I was largely being ignored as she didn't hear my answers or answer my questions about the menu and options until prompted, largely due to dealing with other staff members who were constantly interrupting hr as I tried to place my order. The table staff, however, were courteous enough although the food arrived without any any napkins or serviettes until we asked for them. Overall an average pub dining experience but not one that will have me rushing back I'm afraid.

The first time we came the meal was perfect couldn't fault it been twice since the steak has been absolutely perfect compliment to the chief but presentation you really need to work on it and bring back the surf and turf those prawns are out of this world sorry you stopped doing them scampi just don't do it after those prawns 5/10 wish I could give more

Went recently (before the refurbishment) for a pint and a pool game. Barmaid was friendly and helpful with a smile (helps with the atmosphere!) lovely oak beams and fire place and a pleasant ambiance. Looking forward to another visit after a new Grill restaurant being installed

four of us came to eat here, after sitting down we noticed that the tables around us were dirty and stayed that way for at least 45mins as we were the only diners in at this time we were very surprised. in our basket containing our cutlery we had no serviettes and dirty cutlery. we could hear a female member of staff swearing loud and being obnoxious. when the food arrived my burger meal arrived on a wooden plate with no grease proof paper and had a big split running through it the menu advertised seasoned fries with our meals but arrived plain no condiments on the table so we had to scour other tables as there were no members of staff about all three had seemed to have disappeared. would not recommend and would not go back again.

I used to come here regularly and when I moved back to Bristol I decided that I would revisit. I had spent many evenings eating in here and enjoying a lovely friendly atmosphere. When my family came to visit I suggested that we eat here. What a mistake, the place looked dirty and the staff behind bar not much better. I felt reluctant to stay but my family said that as we had travelled here lets just eat. We should have left, food was not good and we left most of it. Not a friendly atmosphere so thought that complaining would be pointless! Will not be returning.

lovely family friendly pub. good portions, home made not microwave. nice atmosphere, relaxing, with fire and sofas. Full menu plus carvery on sundays, very busy when I visited, will go again. Greatly improved since the new manager has taken over
