The Clubhouse in Highland

Saw existing reviews so thought would try it today. Glad we did friendly efficient service and good quality food at a great price. Had salmon as a starter along with prawn cocktail. Mains were prawn sandwich and Mac & Cheese both excellent especially the M&C. Saw other dishes too and all looked good. We live in Inverness and will def go back again when next in Ullapool. I’d recommend everyone to try

We were a group of 7 friends booked for dinner at The Clubhouse by our walking holiday guide Ben and Rosie of Mackenzie Mountaineering. The meal was a very pleasant change from some of the overpriced and disappointing restaurants in Ullapool. Freshly prepared by the chef, the choice and quality of the food was very good, from starters to puddings. No pretensions, just honest food well-cooked. The service was very friendly and professional and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

This is a nice place for breakfast rolls, full breakfast, lunches and snacks. Parking space. Just outside Ullapool. Friendly place, very popular with locals. Occasionally closed for golf tournaments and private functions but generally open all year round. Can phone ahead to order takeaway which is handy when on a tight schedule.

Housed in the Ullapool Golf Club clubhouse since last year, this establishment does a brisk business at all times. Good plain food in above-average portions at reasonable prices. What more could anyone ask?

We popped here for lunch and sat outside. The food was fantastic, reasonable prices, and all the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place.
