We came here for lunch after going to a recommended pub that was closed. A very good find. Courteous welcome and good menu. I chose lasagne. There was plenty of food, all very hot, and well garnished with salads. Good value for money at today's prices. A good find.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here recently, superb food excellent quality, massive portions. All the staff were kind friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we are planning a return visit very soon. I really could not fault anything, so nice to find such a great place to eat. Massive compliments to the chef 10/10

Convivial atmosphere and genuine hospitality. I shall return and hopefully there is another portion of most excellent venison pie!

Visited for dinner on a journey back to Surrey from Cornwall. Fantastic food in a beautiful traditional English village setting. Locals made us feel very welcome and we witnessed a harriers sing-song & beer downing session ! Would have stayed longer for a few pints & a game of pool if we could have. My daughter and I went for dinner here on 25/7/2024 the service and food were both excellent .. all summer I have been looking for a nice ploughman’s lunch with no success but here is where I found it !!

If you’re looking for a country pub, this is the place! It’s cosy, super good price for drinks, and the cosiest food menu - proper pub grub. You won’t be disappointed with the food! Or the portions!

Last evening the Clatford Arms was buzzing once again!! Nicole is the new landlady and what positive changes she has made already! Her team are warm and friendly...you will definitely receive a great welcome. The garden pub was busy with several locals that we hadn't seen for months. Hubby and myself had the seabass and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact I haven't enjoyed a meal like that for a very long time! We shared a homemade apple crumble and that was excellent too!! I truly cant recommend the pub enough! There is also a special menu for pensioners for lunchtimes and evenings. Two courses for £10 or three courses for £13. This pub accommodates for everyone whether it's for the family or couples. Give it a go I'm certain you will enjoy it.

Saturday evening there were twenty five of us from the village celebrating Christmas. The food was truly amazing! I had salmon with asparagus. I can honestly say I didn't want my meal to finish as it was so beautifully cooked. In fact it was the best meal I have had in years!! The atmosphere was great and Georgie and Shane organised it perfectly! The food was piping hot and delicious. Lucy and Nina who were the waiting staff provided a very personalised service! A huge thank you for a fabulous evening!

Friendly welcoming staff immediately upon arrival and throughout our visit. Very nice food and plenty of it at a reasonable price. The drinks ( including soft) are also reasonably priced. Desert was worth it despite a filling main meal. Definitely recommended.
