The Claro Beagle in Harrogate

Lovely coffee. Nice little out of the way pub on the outskirts of Harrogate.

Sadly this pub has deteriorated. Dog fouling on frequent basis inside the pub has terminated my visits. Perhaps in the summer sat outside but unlikely

Fantastic atmosphere a great manager and staff always top sports on TV 📺, good entertainment live bands, and great for family gatherings live outdoors space safe for children too 😀 👍

Came in with a friend to watch the Leeds match wasnt olaned but she lives in Harrogate . The staff were great even the people in had a good night pity about the result

Spent 45mins watching football on one of the many screens there. The Guinness was Guinness and the plain salted crisps were plain salted crisps.

We stayed there as part of work and we couldn't complain to he honest The food at the evening was very nice. The beer is a bit pricey, but it is a hotel, so you'd expect that. I had to swap a room as it was very dated and very confined. but all in all it's an old building so its must be hard to upkeep and it's very nice and welcoming and the food is good.

Popped in this fantastic pub for a few drinks,before going for food in Harrogate. Staff were really friendly. The choice of beers were great. We had a couple of Leeds pale from Leeds brewery. A perfect pint. It were that good, we had another 2 rounds. With all the TV "s it's a perfect venue for watching the footy on a Saturday. Will defo be back. Keep up the good work

Lovely local pub. We had a great couple of hours here watching the match. Locals very friendly and chatty. Hopefully we visit Harrogate again and we will definitely return to this pub. Great prices , great service couldn’t ask for anything more.

Was at Claro this morning with a freind of mine at 11.45 and it dose not open until 12 my friends son that is age 2 was eating a packet of wotsits while we waited for it to open then the manager cane out shouting that he can't eat I explained we are waiting for it to open he was still rude saying to make the 2 year old stand on the pavement until he finished his crisps we have left to go to another venue as I have never experienced customer service as poor in my life

Great choice of Draught products a couple of rotating cask ales large outside area and dog friendly.

Good atmosphere and decent priced beer, unfortunately kitchen was closed due to a fire… the outside tv needs attention to fight the glare of the sun during early evening games

Good local pub where you can watch sky sports and entertainment on the weekend.

Staff decided we weren’t getting served as soon as we arrived. ID’s were taken off us and taken inside and once returned said the manager wouldn’t accept them as the pictures looked younger than us, even though the manager never saw us and we explained that you don’t update your drivers licence picture until it expires? Shockingly poor customer service

Staff had bad attitudes, seemed to resent customers being there. Much better places nearby

One star is the maximum it will allow. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Food was ok but had a 20 min table service wait just for drinks. Very poorly staffed and the staff that were there couldnt understand why they were so busy... It was a sunny day and England were about to play Germany in a knockout stage of the euros.... WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?

Cheap beer nice outside area friendly staff

Went today just for drinks. The whole pub is immaculate and well organised. We were served at our table quickly and drinks were bought over within minutes of ordering. We were asked if everything was OK by the manager and another lady both had a chat which was great. The food looked amazing. Please give it a visit its a hidden gem.

They sell beer, cider, and food. I had beer and crisps.

Disabled toilet had broken lock on door for over three years now so anyone with key could walk in. No hand towels or hand dryer for a year at least. All this after being supposedly done up. Manageress reluctant to get off her chair to serve, leaving it to one barmaid.

Standard pub, food is wetherspoons quality so standard for a pub. Has a decent amount of pool tables. Decent size beer garden.

Never been there, just goes to show that if you view a house in that area, Google assumes you are visiting a nearby pub?

Cheap beer but had to wait a few minutes to get served. Got on screen sports on and pool tables and a dart board

Pub usually has at least a few locals in and gets a mix of ages - never visited when there has been an unpleasant atmosphere, but locals sometimes block access to bar. Bar staff are usually friendly. Food served - had once, about 18 months ago and it was very good. Decent prices. Visited Tuesday 13 August and Leeds were on the tv - there was a little crowd (about 15) of Leeds fans making noise. Nothing over the top. Paid £2.60 for a pint of Carlsberg, £2.85 for a John Smiths. They usually have cask on too. There's plenty of parking and a decent sized beer garden to the front.

Only for locals. If you're not a regular customer you will not feel welcome here. Dog friendly but regular' s dog will attack your dog and you will rudely be asked to take your dog (which was on the lead and well behaved) outside. Not a place for children either, lots of smokers inside and outside. Drinks are cheap for Harrogate however.

Great food and friendly staff. I have visited Harrogate on two different occasions and have sought this place out the second time.

Great burgers, great prices and great service

Partner and I regularly visit Claro Beatle to watch football. Recently renovated it comes with wide screen projector to watch sports with other football fanatics. Friendly management. And dogs welcomed. Drinks are affordable.

Ok place to watch sports as there are plenty of screens. Bar service quick. Contactless payments accepted. Not great choice of beers when i went, average price. We had burgers which were not very nice. More of a 'local' than somewhere you would check out.

Been lots of times. But today was not as good. Got chips instead of mash steak done to death all the rest was too well done the wine was OK.

Good points - cheap beer. Big car park. Bad points - Football. Poor selection of beer. Full of chavs, builders, kids, single mums, doley's, etc. It's basically like bad working men's club without needing membership Enjoy! ;-)

Asked for a veggie meal plus some veggie sausages, they would not sell me the sausages as an extra. Then I was told they didn't have all the salad available for the meal anyway and there was no alternative of any description and they would not discount the meal even though it was incomplete. Scruffy looking place with a cheap chain feel and unhelpful staff. Stay away if you have any reasonable expectations!
