The clachan highland pub in Highland

Personale molto gentile e disponibile, il pub è piccolino e si riempie subito. Abbiamo atteso 30’min. quindi consiglio in alta stagione di arrivare prima… abbiamo preso una zuppa del giorno molto buono (7£), un trio (salmone affumicato, salmone cotto e 3 cozze) con insalatina, un Fish e chips (18£) non dei migliori assaggiati sinceramente ma le patatine molto buone. Totale in due 41£

Très bon repas dans ce pub tout près de Eilean Donan Castle. Le plat à base de Haggis est à tomber. Le sticky stuffy pudding également Le fish and chips et le plateau de fromages aussi Nous recommandons vivement mais pas de réservation. Il faut y venir de bonne heure 18h pour être sûr d'avoir une table.

Estrema gentilezza che ci ha consentito di cenare poco prima della chiusura della cucina (21). Cibo locale ottimo! Consigliato il salmone! Musica e intrattenimento tipico di un pub scozzese di paese. Garanzia “like a local al 100%”. E se volete conoscere gente… una punta al bancone!

We stopped in after touring Eilean Donan castle and were lucky enough to grab a table straight away. I enjoyed the fish and chip dinner here more than other restaurants in Scotland. The manager was friendly despite being very busy with the crowded pub.

La comida era fantástica (y patatas) y abadejo con la comida de los niños eran abundantes y de buena calidad.La estufa de leña hechas para un ambiente acogedor y el caballero y señora de detrás de la barra era muy amable.Nos gustó tanto que volvimos dos días más tarde en nuestro camino de vuelta de Skye. El pub comienza a servir comida a las 6:00 así que si estás temprano el estar preparado para probar cervezas locales.Bastante antiguo y en buen estado. La comida es excelente y el servicio preciso y rápido. Menú típico pub, pero tiende a salir ofertas durante un fin de semana. Cena para dos con postre y 2 bebidas cada uno en los $100.

Pub tipico, si respira in tutto di essere in Scozia! Non bisogna avere fretta il locale e sempre pieno. Cibo molto buono, abbiamo provato bistecca con patate arrosto con verdure, Hamburger gigante con patatine e verdure e un suffle con gamberetti e salmone. Tutto ottimo!

Mis amigos y yo estuvimos aquí una noche para la cena, en nuestra caminata en el West Highland Way. Muy buena comida local, conseguir algo "local" para la mejor calidad y sabor! Buenas opciones de bebida (y buenos precios todo alrededor). Acogedor ambiente relajado (nos dejaron entrar y nos sentimos cómodos en nuestro sudor y barro senderismo marchas).

Minutes from our B&B in Kyleakin, Isle of Skye, this welcoming pub was a real treat. Great service, good selection of whisky and beer, and great food. Prior to our visit, we read a review on TripAdvisor which advised us to arrive early since this popular location gets crowded quickly, and it's a good thing we heeded this advice. Parties who arrived later waited near the small bar for over an hour for a table, and based upon my experience, it was worth it. As a side benefit, the Eilean Donan castle can be seen from immediately outside the pub.

We tried this place at a whim and were very happy with the service and food. They don't have many tables so I'm glad we went early (6:45pm). They have a good range of prices so you can eat relatively cheaply or go all our if you want. Would go again.

I have stopped off at the Clachan pub a couple of times during my travels through the Highlands and both times I have had a great experience. Food, Beer and entertainment. Traditional folk music to a Scottish Piper. The food is second to none I have had in a pub which caters for all, from the land, sea and those like my self who have food allergies. The local ale is on tap and the crowd are very friendly and welcoming. A must stop off if travelling through for a bite to eat or for the evening if staying locally.

went to Clachan pub for a meal as we were staying in the caravan park not far from dornie at Ardelve a good site by the way so we decided to eat out there and took our bikes to the pub and wow what a feast we had the moroccan lamb was to die for and the venison lasagne was also a true delight service was quick atmosphere good also very busy at night time so might be worth booking as it soon filled up prices were reasonable too £14-99 for the lamb dish and £11-95 for venison lasange also had 4 whiskys and one pint and a half pint of beer total cost was £48-85 but was well woth it if you are near to dornie or staying there definately go have a meal there yummy
