Lovely friendly staff, delicious food, fast service time. The portobello mushroom and halloumi burger was delightful, and the chips were phenomenal.

All staff welcoming and could not be anymore helpful. The chicken and haggis was divine. Broccoli cooked to perfection.The haddock and chips for my boxer Gertrude was superb. She gave it the paws up. Sticky toffee pudding so good should have ordered two. Very quick service. Meal hot. Very good price. Haste ye back----------yes indeed.

Delicious food, unbeatable service, and stunning views. We loved it from start to finish. We stopped here after hiking Steall Waterfall and loved the experience. The manager of the place assisted us, and she was very nice, kind and professional. I recommend 👍🏼✨

It was perfect! We stayed in a neighboring village but opted to eat here on 3 different occasions! By far the best food, service and atmosphere! Everything was delicious and the staff is fantastic! The lamb & mint burger on a beetroot bun was amazing! As well as the venison port pie!! We will be back when we are back in Scotland! Thank you!

Fantastic restaurant. In 2022 after completing the West Highland Way, I will have strengthened considerably here. Now in 2024 after a road trip through Scotland we had a delicious meal again.

This place was exactly what me and a mate were after following completing Ben Nevis and not really wanting to trek into town. As we were staying at the youth hostel. Would definitely recommend.

Nice food, didn't have any real ale on tap when I was there. Probably advisable to book a table in restaurant at busy periods but same menu can be eaten in the bar. Easy access from the campsite. No dogs allowed in but there are tables outside.

All the staff were friendly and chatty. Great menu, good to see vegan options too. Food portions were ENORMOUS, but hubby managed to eat all of his!! No room for puds, which was a shame as the vegan waffle sounded amazing. Would definitely recommend. Lots of parking, nice atmosphere and everywhere was clean. Will go back if we visit Fort William again.

Very enjoyable meal and located close enough to the campsite to avoid getting too wet walking there.

Well equipped (if slightly impersonal) camping and caravanning site. Surrounding scenery is stunning. The restaurant looks a little unprepossessing from the outside, but the food is excellent with good, friendly service. The site is let down by the toilet and shower block, which are a bit dated and could do with modernisation.

Lovely cooked homely food in a perfect location, it was nice sitting outside surrounded by the mountains. Sadly not much choice of gins, however we still enjoyed our visits Great prices too

In Fort William for 2 days around a Ben Nevis trek, I tried the Nevis when unable to get in several other bars / restaurants. Very glad I did. Although also very busy, they took my name for a table, I went to the bar for good beer and was called through more quickly than I expected on evening 2, and ate at a table in the bar in evening 1. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food - just what I wanted. I recommend the Ben Nevis golden ale!

I found the food to be delicious and promptly served by very friendly members of staff. Located a short walk from the main Glen Nevis campsite.

Nach einer Wanderung sind wir hier auf ein Bier eingekehrt. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, gutes Bier, angenehmes Ambiente (innen und außen).

Busy pub , super quick food, Big tasty portions. I had the veggie burger and asked specifically was it spicey, was told no but it actually had chilli in it. When I mentioned this to the older waiter collecting our plates, he was apologetic, said he would make sure all the staff knew it had chilli in and offer free dessert although I wasn’tasking. Perfect way to deal with an issue , hence the 5 stars . And the cheesecake was delicious!

Wow, the food, the service, the atmosphere all perfect. Nothing seems to be too much bother. The steak pie is to die for as is the Cranachan cheesecake. It's a must visit

Das Restaurant ist gut. Es bietet eine übersichtliche Auswahl an Speisen, von Burger über Nudeln bis hin zu Gerichten mit lokalem Einschlag ist alles dabei. Vermutlich auf Grund der Nähe zu einem großen Campingplatz ist abends viel los. Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren. Die Gerichte des Restaurants können auch in der angrenzenden Bar bestellt werden Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Extremely over priced bad food, but at the foot of Ben Nevis so who cares

Went to dinner here 2 nights in a row during our trip to hike Ben Nevis as were staying at the youth hostel nearby. Excellent and friendly service, and it was great both nights - first when we didn’t have a reservation so ate cafeteria style at the bar and next evening when we had the quieter restaurant booking. Didn’t matter as food was off the same menu and excellent both evenings. The potato skins in particular were to die for with generous portions. The rest of the food too was great and made for great pre and post hiking fuel! It was obvious this was a special place for Fort William locals who are otherwise starved for great places to eat.

Excellent food. I had the haggis, partner had steak and ale pie. Followed by chocolate covered strawberries and bananas with ice cream. Good price Good choice of beers Excellent staff.

Live in Glasgow . Just been touring around the NC500 . We have two springers and have had no end of dog friendly places , Arrive here and everyone with a dog has to sit outside amongst midges !!! Totally unfair and annoying. Didn’t bother to stay for a drink … well behaved dogs should be acceptable.

Carol waited on our table and she is fantastic. We enjoyed her fun personality and great customer service. The food was cooked well and we had a delicious key lime tart for dessert. The restaurant was a 5-minute or less walk from the campground.

Great little restaurant with simple fare and good beers. Great to have near your camping ground!

We had the soup and it was okay. It would have been nice to have more options for vegans and vegetarians. Beautiful restaurant and certainly adequate for travelers.

We did not have a booking, but they accommodated us on request. The food was very good and the service was top notch.

5 minute walk from Glen Nevis camp site. Enjoy a drink and meal after a long hike. Large portions, busy during peak times so book early.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Ate here twice during my stay and been on previous visits. A really nice, chilled out relaxed restaurant with really friendly staff. Really tasty food , good menu choices and reasonably priced. Much better than the majority of places in Fort William. Would recommend to anyone.

Staff where excellent. Food was bland & clearly out of a packet, I had sausage & mash (was on the special board) can only assume it was on there as the sausages was going to expire soon, mash was "okay" would find better at a weatherspoons. My wife had scampi & chips. Scampi was mostly bread crumbs & air. Chips was out of a bag from aldi or lidl, the tartar sauce certainly wasn't home made. Overall staff where great just a shame the chef wasn't nor the produce he was cooking. Better off going to a spoons for the money

Eigentlich hat dieses Restaurant gute Bewertungen, aber der Service war wirklich nicht gut. Wir wurden mit 1,5h Wartezeit an die Bar geschickt, bevor wir einen Tisch bekamen. Neben uns durften aber einige Tische auch essen in der Bar bestellen, was man uns nicht erlaubte. Das Essen war ebenso nicht besonders. Sehr volles Restaurant, wer dort hin will sollte reservieren

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. De vis was echt heel lekker, niet zo vet en behoorlijk grote porties. De kinderen hadden een burger en hebben er van genot. Bedankt voor de fijne avond.

A decent restaurant in the Glen Nevis area. The foods are decent tasting. The atmosphere, albeit quite old, is quite nice and friendly.

Good parking, nice views from the restaurant, very friendly staff and good atmosphere . Food was of a good standard . Advise to book inn advance to ensure you get in !

We ate here a couple of times whilst staying in Glen Nevis food is excellent and good value for money the service is excellent, you have the choice of either eating in the bar area or in the restaurant both have a nice atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Thank you

Excellent food and service. I had highland venison and it was great. We also had miso aubergine, chicken burger, haggis, kids Pizza and it was all amazing!!!

First visit back here in a couple of years and to be honest I couldn't wait! This time however the service and portion sizes seem to have moved away from restaurant standard to fast food standard. The food was undoubtedly tasty but turned up at the table in an almost impossibly quick time. Fish and chips for my son were amazing however the mushy peas were almost cold. My venison was tasty but such a small portion for £18.50. The trifle (£6.50) turned up in a half cider glass which was no where near full. A really small portion for the money. Last year we was here the focus was definitely on quality local produce and it was apparent. This year's focus seems to be get them in and get them gone unfortunately.

Good location, friendly staff, clean venue but the food left a lot to be desired. We chose this venue because it was rated 4.5 and number 9 in the area so we had high hopes and really looking forward to great food. They were good at accommodating gluten free but the food just wasn’t up to scratch, it was edible but we wouldn’t recommend this place. Hubby did enjoy his pint though so not bad for a drink just wouldn’t suggest eating here.

Went in for a celebration meal, nice restaurant, service was excellent, food was served quickly and excellent as well, would recommend it to anyone who visits Glen Nevis site.

Went for a meal while staying at the holiday park, the staff are super friendly and helpful, max booking is 6 people but they let us put a child on the end of the table Food was again 5 star, hot, all come out at once, we all had different meals but all plates got cleared. We went into the restaurant in hiking clothes, not that the staff bothered 1 bit about that, but some people are a little more posh, so we did get a few looks.

I stayed at the campsite next door so popped over for a few drinks. Busy but plenty of seating.

Ich habe mit einem vegetarischen Gericht in einer Bar nicht gerechnet und hatte dadurch keine hohen Erwartungen. Allerdings wurde ich eines besseren belehrt. Das Miso Aubergine war sehr gut abgeschmeckt und dadurch mega lecker. Das Haggis, welches mein Mann bestellt hatte, war ebenfalls super. Es lohnt sich in jedem Fall hier Essen zu gehen. Eine separate Whiskykarte rundet den Besuch ab.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen, wie Burger, Fisch und Salat. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die Küche geht auf jeden Wunsch ein. Besonders auf Allergiker wird sehr Rücksicht genommen. Auf jeden Fall selber ausprobieren. Saubere WCs und gute Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden.

Food and service were top quality. Reasonably priced and relaxed feel to it. Staff were all happy and gave good service. Would highly recommend to all in the area, especially if staying Glen Nevis camp site as its such a short walk and absolutely worth it. Suggestion to add seasoning to the chicken burger batter though. My wife had the fish and chips which was great and son had the kids penne pasta and there were both top quality.

Decent food. Our waitress was good in that my son wanted venison but without red wine jus which they changed for him. fish and chips was good but nothing exceptional. I felt a wee bit overpriced for a restaurant being in caravan site.

Location of the restaurant was nice and good atmosphere but food was nothing special. We had to order at the bar and had a chicken hamburger and a vegan burger.

The food came out REALLY quick which always makes me a tiny bit twitchy but with the quality of it, wasn't a problem. Friendly service, fair pricing considering where we were, and a good drinks selection make this a great place for a hearty meal after heading up Ben Nevis or wandering around the Glen.

We were camping with friends and booked here for Saturday night for a meal. All 8 of us were so impressed with our meals. There was quite a variety from the menu ordered. The staff were excellent, so welcoming and friendly. Also a really nice...

Dogs allowed outside, not inside

Very friendly and polite staff. Food tasted good however, concerning how fast the food was coming out, it almost felt like it was pre plated. No real atmosphere in the restaurant, would be unlikely to visit again.

A bar with a nice atmosphere and surroundings . Half of the staff were friendly ( the older ones) but the others ( teenager girls ) didn’t appear to want to be at work. They spent more time chatting to each other behind the bar....

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. It was only steak and ale pie, but it was just what the doctor ordered with big chunks of beef that just fell apart. Very pleasant bar and restaurant staff help make this a nice way to end your day.

Lovely staff members who helped with Nevis advice and food recommendations. Great relaxed atmosphere and very tasty food too. I loaded up on penne pasta with chicken for the carb reserves. Food served til 9pm, and the bar stays open til 11pm. 1 minute walk from the main camp site and very easy to find.

Eten was gewoon goed. Personeel was erg vrolijkheid. De hond mocht niet mee naar binnen. Gelukkig konden we buiten eten.

Ben je in Schotland dan moet je Haggis gegeten hebben. Ooit uitgeroepen tot het vieste gerecht. Deze was te hachelen dus kon van de bucketlist af 😀

Right next to the Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping park which was really handy for a walk and then stopping here a drink. Sadly they don't allow dogs inside, so we sat outside and enjoyed a beer.

Heerlijk Schots gegeten hier. Personeel nam de moeite ons te plaatsen ook al was het volgeboekt. Daarna in de aangrenzende pub nog een biertje gedronken. Niet duur. Zeker een aanrader.
