Worst kebab I've ever had, £9.90 for last night's heated up meat, I will never go back

Me and my friend had just been to a party and we were obviously drunk. They asked me to pay twice and I did as I presumed the first pay didn't go through. I ended up paying 18:50 for a single kebab. Taking advantage of drunk teenagers to earn money. Don't go here, it's not worthit!

Very very poor service..such weird people trying to have a general conversation eating my food the guy gets rude trying to kick me out even know there's 35minutes to closing time I wouldn't ever go in there even if they give me free kebab,,,don't do the job if you have an mental health issues and be careful what you say to people

Persists in advertising opening hours that aren’t true. It also says it only takes cash, but it does have a card reader if you know them. Utterly untrustworthy and not worth the risk of food poisoning should you be so desperate to have to order from there.

I think it’s really sad and a bit stupid that these guys only accept cash. If I’ve been out in Lewes I enjoy their kebab but I find more and more I don’t have my wallet / cards on to get cash as I pay for most things using my phone. I hope these guys wake up and realise as like me, people will stop visiting there. They miss out on customers and we miss out on their food.

Cool but old dude not understand word well asked for 2 portions of chips bludski said"£2.50" and I was all like nope 1 portion is 2.50 I want 2 portions bro had the audacity to say "give me 2.50" I had to say no 5.00 for this guy to understand 😠ok by the way I'm 73 and visiting from London 😎

Went there for the first time on a Saturday night was very impressed with the food. We there for a second visit and was very frustrated they didn’t take card. I understand if it’s because items are under £5, but my order was over £10 and in 2023, I really think they are behind the curve. So I instead went to Efes on the hill, where they do take card.

We were waiting for a bus during a busy Friday night and the staff spotted how close I was. Big thanks to them for the help, they put my food together super fast just to make sure I got the last bus home!!!! Thank you all so much!

We were visiting the town and just wanted to eat something fast before going to visit the castle and museum. Unfortunately, the man inside was very unfriendly and left us alone several times while trying to order. The last one, he disappearead after we had already ordered for 3 out of 4 of us and we just decided to leave the restaurant. I dont recommend it at all and hope they replace the chef/waiter.

Midnight and time for a kebab. I had a shish for about a tenner. It was so good but enormous. Ended up sharing the last bits with my cat. Great meal and generous portions.

Me and my mrs both had chicken shish wraps from here. Only a few hours after eating we both became unwell very quickly. Lots of vomit. Headaches, diarrhoea and body aches. Such a shame as used these guys lots of times andnever had ropey food.

They don’t accept card payment, only cash. This is a Tax evasion .

Only accepts cash, dodgy business tax avoidance probably. Also very expensive (before cost of living increases)

I tried to order food at 0:20 (closing time is 1:00am) the workers were extremely rude and said hurry up and order with rude hand gestures and said we close in 10 mins which was a lie. Don't waste your time here!!

Very nice and clean shop, great taste and amazing arts around the shop. I had a combination kebab just love it.

Shocking - don’t waste your time/money

I had veggie burger with chips and my husband had the donar kebab. We popped in on the off chance and it was super fast service and nice custom. Food was really tasty.

I get chicken kebabs from here all the time, phone and pick up ten minutes later, they're a nice treat and much better value than a pizza or other fast food. Staff always welcoming and nice.

Closed early even though we called in advance to ask closing time. Very disappointed in the service over the phone, we called to tell them we’d be there before closing time. Was hung up on , VERY RUDE! would not recommend

They open at 12pm went in at 3pm they gave us cold undercooked doner which was sitting in pot for god knows how long, tasted very bad

EXTREMELY RUDE. SATURDAY 5PM , NO ONE AROUND. I POP IN. THE LOOK OF HATRED IS IMMEDIATE. 'YES PLEASE' THE TALLER MAN ASKS , BUT NOT WITH A FRIENDLY TONE , I MOTION WITH MY HAND AS IF TO SAY , JUST A SEC, LET ME JUST CHOOSE FROM THE MENU FIRST. WIHTOU DELAY I ORDER A FALAFEL , HE MUTTERS SOMETHING IN HIS LANGUAGE , FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER (DEFINITELY NOT SAYING 'OF COURSE , MAKE YOURSELF COFORTABLE', I KNOW THAT MUCH),,, AND PROCEEDS TO THROW IN THE FALAFEL IN THE FRYER. I TAKE OUT MY MINI WALLET AND AS HE WATCHES ME TAKE MY CARD OUT TO PAY , ''SORRYNOCARDCASHONLY..... '' IM LIKE ''I DONT HAVE CASH ON ME (WHO DOES!! ... IT'S A SATURDAY IN A VISITORS TOWN , IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC!!! HE TELLS ME THERE IS A CASHPOINT NEARBY . I DECLINE . I like this takeaway because it presents its self well to other takeaways, the staff weren't overly friendly but my biggest peeve was that after waiting 25 minutes for our food, which I was fine with, I then had to go all the way back into town as get cash as they didn't accept phone/card payment, which was really annoying as I was trying to do the easy option with a takeaway. There was a cashpoint a few doors down but I didn't have a card on me! We did get a few bottle of Pepsi though and the pizza was yummy!🙂

Bit pricey but good sized portions, except for the chips, there needs to be more chips per portion. It all tastes good after a few pints.

Got a mixed kabab with doner meat and chicken shish. Absolutely blew my socks off. Garlic sauce was out of this world and the kabab was that big I had to take the window out of my front living room to get it in. 10/10 and that’s coming from a Yorkshire born kabab lover. Kabab kings!

Richly-topped low-cost pizzas. And it's where you go at 12:45am on a Saturday night. There's no substitute for it, in this part of Lewes.

Good doner kebabs, bit pricey. 2 large Donner's, small cheesy chips & bottle pop. £22. Friendly service. Although the meat is good could do with more for the price. Nice fresh salad. My daughter loved the cheesey chips.

Perfectly cooked shish and kofte kebabs. Fresh salad and great sauces. Ask for extra chilli sauce if you want it spicy. I haven’t tried the other stuff on the menu but the kebabs are so good... why would I?!

Okay food, nothing spectacular (for me). It is quite expensive.

Staff overcharge, are rude and don’t (of course), accept card - wouldn’t personally recommend. Used to be a lot better but have gone downhill considerably

Where to start! Out of date chicken, staff not washing their hands. I witnessed one member of the team rubbing his rear, then picking up cooked food. I asked if they could take the pepperoni of my pizza, they said no unless I ordered a large. They then began swearing at me in both English and Turkish???? Utter joke will not be back and would recommend everyone stay away. Poor service, poor personal hygiene and frankly just plain rude.

Food tastes good and on the whole not too bad a place to eat at. They seem to stay open when many eating places in Lewes are closed, especially after pub closing times.

Delicious! The flatbreads they use to make the kebabs instead of dry old pittas often used in kebab shops make all the difference!

Worst special mixed grill only thing special is the price and size

Ordered a pizza, the guy made the wrong one, then he charged me more than he should have, then he started serving a different customer.

Don't order over the phone, unless you can be there when they put the order together. They CANNOT remember to give you the sauces you ask for or particular items such as pickled chillies. I've lost count of the number of times I've got home and my order isn't correct. Don't know if it's their lack of English or they don't write anything down or what, but order in the shop, and watch VERY carefully when they assemble your food. When they get it right, it's pretty good. That is all.

used to be good but gone down hill fast they need to shape up and also the wraps they now us instead of pittas end up a soggy mess wake up lads get back to how it was and improve your customer service
