The Chalfont Tandoori in Chiltern

A menu came through our door so we decided to give it a try having seen good reviews on here. The food was very disappointing. A watery daal, the chicken tikka massala also came in a thin and unappealing sauce, no mango chutney was provided for the poppadoms. The tandoori mixed grill was average at best. Good to try something different but unfortunately the food was poor and we won't be coming back.

Really, really lovely. Arrived on time, all correct, all delicious, polite delivery man, the restaurant even called me to ask if i was happy with sprite instead of 7up 😀 10/10 recommend. Really impressed.

The best!! That is all! I need to write 100 characters but truly all I need to soy is this is the best! I’ve had plenty of curry from the bucks area and nothing come close! The pakora’s are top draw!

Gave this takeaway the ‘benefit of the doubt’ as not had great meals from here before but definitely won’t be ordering from here again…food left me feeling queasy, chicken dish with cauliflower very over cooked and wonder how much meat was actually in the minced lamb kebab in mixed grill 😕 Shame as our it’s local takeaway that delivers in an ‘emergency’ but would would definitely make the effort next time to go and collect from somewhere else..

Newly arrived in the area, we want to support local businesses and chose Khan Tandoori for last night's takeaway. We were not disappointed. Excellent quality and quantity of food and we sampled a few different dishes. Opted to collect after 30 minutes and it was ready on time. We will be back

This is a local curry house for me and I love it. The staff are extremely friendly, service is quick and food never disappoints. I always enjoy having food here and I highly recommend for anyone else.

probably the worst curry i've had in 20 years. thought id give this place a try. wish i hadn't.

As I enjoy Indian food and my wife does not, I decided to try a take away from this establishment for a change. The last time I had a take away from here it was under a different management. The food I had was very tasty and portion size was very generous. I could not finish my side dish. I had the mushroom rice, Malayan chicken and the vegetable side. Good value for money. I will be back in the not too distance future.

This is my family's preferred local indian takeaway. Wide variety of indian food at a reasonable price. Doesn't look much from the outside, but I think it's pretty delicious.

Just had a takeaway from Khans Tandoori! Tasted good, generous sized curries and friendly staff! Usually use another curry house but will definitely be using again!

We had our first takeaway from this restaurant last night and it won’t be our last! The food was promptly - it was piping hot and delicious! Generous portions too! We will definitely order from them again!

I ordered a collection from Khan tandoori. Food was ready when I arrived and the dansak was on point !!! I must say one of the best I have Ever tasted. Staff where friendly and I will defiantly use again and again. Thank you Khan tandoori for a fantastic meal

I used it all the time when it was Chalfont Tandoori loved it but now after today will not use again..... please note I have order there twice before at Khans gave it another chance tonight but I sorry but I will never use again looks like a home curry from a packet sorry to sound so bad but very disappointed

Ordered a curry on Saturday not only terrible service- the curry was watered down & lacked flavour. Have been going here for 20+ years however it seems that they think that they reduce the quality of the food and still maintain custom. This is not the case. I shall never be returning. I would give this 0 star but they do not have this available. They gave me a free popadom for waiting- mango chutney was clearly bought from whole sales- glupey and no flavour!

If you enjoy a good Indian, then you have to eat from the Chalfront Tandoori. The food is excellent and great value.It is within a 10 minute drive from the De Vere Latimer in Chesham, but worth the journey. They do offer a delivery service if you don't drive. The staff are friendly and provide a service with a smile.

Tucked away next to Chalfont & Latimer Station is this little gem. A bunch of young guys have a thriving business with TakeAway Indian food ... and an excellent delivery business. They are polite beyond expectations and their customer relations and speed promote this feeling.

Thought we'd try out this local Indian which replaced a Chinese a few months back. Greaterd by friendly staff and made to feel welcome. Meals came out rather too quickly, making you think have they been zapped in a microwave.we had chosen a variety of different dishes.yet two came in identical sauces . The dishes arrived in large silver bowls pressume to fool you into thinking they provide generous portions.sadly no just lots of sauce and a few measly counted out portions of meat. Our king prawn dish was a joke.they had been chopped up into tiny pieces to try and make it look more as to have 6 prawns floating in a bowl of soupy sauce would of been a joke to serve. Prices same as others .quality , nothing special. Wont be back. They'll have to do better as too much other local competition.

I often order from Chalfont tandoori and I am always pleased with their consistency and their ability to give me good well priced food, right to my door step.

We've been using Chalfont Tandoori for about 3 years now and they have been the most consistently good take-away around here (Amersham/ Chalfonts). Incredibly cheap and very good too! It's simple stuff and your typical dishes, however they are always good quality, hot and the delivery guys are cheerful too. I'd definitely recommend them.

What it does is not complicated - it provides standard Indian takeaway dishes - but it does it very well. Classics such as dahl, bhajis, samosas, dhansaks etc are cooked well and it is keenly priced. The only thing (and it is a minor comment) is that it does not have anything out of the ordinary on the menu.

Over eight years of good curries from here the last one had home delivered was like a trainee had cooked bad…

I use this place regularly and can highly recommend the vegi choices. Not many places have such good vegi options and I always end up coming back here. The onion bahjee are huge although can be a little greasy and the prawn puree is very tasty. If they did chilli paneer I would be even happier.
