I had one tiny oyster for £5. There's not much else that I'd like to eat on the menu the place itself is lovely though. the waitress was very nice to us at first but then awfully rude after she accidently knocked a few bottles of wine off the shelf near us.

We had an amazing experience at The Cavendish in Marylebone! The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the bottle of Malbec paired beautifully with it. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. A wonderful spot for a great meal—highly recommend!

The Cavendish provided a great private dining experience with high-quality food. There was a slight delay between the starter and the main, likely due to the kitchen being two floors down and our large order, but it wasn’t a major issue. The private room was well-suited to the event, there were a few tables tucked around the corner from the room we were using, which made it not entirely private—but this didn’t impact the evening. The T-shaped table layout was a bit unusual but worked well, especially with a few seat swaps halfway through the evening. Leading up to the event, San was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Overall, we’d definitely consider The Cavendish for future events.

Went for a Sunday lunch, which was extremely disappointing. Started off with espresso martinis, which were made without sweetener - when we asked for it to be re-made, the waitress came over and started explaining the ingredients and how we (the customer) were wrong. Eventually they re-made but we were still charged for the original. The food came within about 5 minutes of ordering, and was cold on arrival. They served parsnip puree on the side AND in an extra dish as well. Can't work out why that was. Other staff weren't welcoming, and the blue suede chairs all had stains on them. Plus, when I went to the toilets, they were some of the most disgusting I've seen - really poor cleanliness overall. The bill ended up being very expensive for what was a very dis-satisfactory meal.

The food was excellent. Our group of four stuck to the sharing bites for lunch: Turkey Bon Bons, Potato Mille-Feuille, Glazed Lamb Bites, Duck Mousse, and Cheesy Cauliflower Croquets. Everything was great and delicious, but we all really enjoyed the croquets. The pub is dog friendly, so our family’s pups were allowed to come in and enjoy food from their dog friendly menu. The girls completely devoured their chicken bowls. Two paws up from them both. Our server Karolina C took great care of us all as well. We will definitely make another trip back to the Cavendish in the near future.

Had a great Sunday Roast here today. Not the cheapest £25-£31 depending on meat choice but definitely worth it. Lovely puddings and the service was absolutely impeccable. Really dog friendly, even with their own ‘doggy menu’ which our pup loved!! All staff were great but a special mention for San. She was totally perfect. Helpful, knowledgeable, proffessional, friendly…in a nutshell, notably she gave some of the best service any of us have had. Was able to answer questions on ingredients/cooking styles of what we had and was happy to advise and work on substitutes or changes for specific dietary requirements. San is a huge asset to a very good team there.

Visited for work Christmas lunch; good location, lovely staff and few flights of stairs to the loos so you get a free workout as well. Apart from that, the sitting set up was really awkward (they squeezed tables into T shape making 2 ppl sit in the inner corner and with backs to others) and the food looked great but that's where it ended.... It seems like the only spice the chef heard of is salt and we all had an endless sea of salt on our plates. I don't know if anyone finished their meal, everyone I asked found it too salty. I guess if you're around for drinks, it's a good spot. Not for a meal.

Definitivamente no recomendaría.

We visited The Cavendish as a group of friends for a Sunday roast, mainly because the pub looked to have a great Christmas atmosphere (which it did). Unfortunately, the food and service was very disappointing, especially at the price point. The potatoes were awful - definitely old, re-roasted and stale. You couldn't even cut into them with a knife. I ordered the lamb, and it arrived cold and was extremely chewy. I only managed to eat a fraction of it. The service was also really bad. I complained about the food quality and didn't even receive an apology, nor any items off the bill. I'm not usually one to send food back uneaten, but in this case it was warranted. I would definitely recommend the pub for drinks (cocktails were great), but for food I would absolutely avoid because it's not only expensive, but is basically inedible. An apology or some sort of discount would have been appreciated, but the service staff definitely had a bad attitude and did not care at all.

We visited this place yesterday. As soon as we sat down at least 3 different people checked if we have ordered yet when we already told them we need time to look at the menu. Then we got our drinks and 2 of us finished drinks and again there was a team member who continously persistently asked if we'd like any drinks and we said no each time while half of us were still drinking. Then a min later she came back and with a very passive aggresive attitude without even making us an explanation she put a reserved label on our table saying we will need to leave in 15 min. Extremely unpleasant and disrespectful attitude from the staff and the business, will never come back.

Small little modern pub, at least on the ground floor; didn't go up to the 1st floor. It was packed when I arrived, but they were able to squeeze me in. Quick service, huge drink menu, and the food was great (plan burger). Only complaint, if you'd call it that, is that it was a bit pricey for the portion size. Came here for a stop over for lunch as they offer food for dogs. They have a 3 course menu for £12 for dogs. Starters was a dog biscuit (my doggy didn’t like it) - it looked a bit plasticky, I thought they would have fresh food as starters. The mains - was fresh food although my doggy didn’t like it,, the staff were happy to switch it to see if he would eat it. Which was very kind. We had got distracted as about 20 dogs walked in for a doggy meet up, we only realised when we got home that our doggy didn’t get his dessert which was included in the menu :-( Apart from that adult food was good apart from the savoury starter. Think the dog menu could be a little better . But overall great place to bring a doggy over for the experience!

Avoid at all costs. This place is a complete shambles. Went there for a roast today and we waited over an hour for it to come and then when it came it was freezing cold. We then sent it back for them to tell us that they would reheat it.?? It came back and it was still freezing. They also forgot to bring our cauliflower cheese. An absolute mess. The food itself was terrible, really small portions and all reheated, so so underwhelming. Management and chefs need to go on a recce to marksman, bull n last and the draper arms to catch up on what proper upmarket pub food is. The prices that you’re charging you need to raise the bar. Awful on accounts, the service was so so bad. Fuming!!

The Cavendish, situated about a five-minute walk north of Oxford Street, Central London, provided a gentle setting for Sunday lunch after shopping indulgence. The Food: I enjoyed the Sunday roast so much that I scraped everything on my plate, including the horseradish sauce bowl. The lunch consists of a good portion of sirloin steak cooked to perfection, luxurious mashed parsnip, perfectly steamed savoy cabbage with an amazing texture, glazed carrot and, of course, roast potatoes and a super-size crispy Yorkshire pudding. Despite the bustling atmosphere of Central London, The Cavendish, located at the corner of New Cavendish and Westmoreland Street, offers a relaxed and perfect setting to observe the world go by. Unfortunately, a sudden rain shower forced us indoors, and we found ourselves in the cosy lounge on the first floor, which is an amazing space perfect for dining. The Cavendish's exceptional dining experience was made even better by the warm and attentive hospitality of Serena. Her willingness to assist was a standout feature of our visit. The rest of the staff were equally courteous and helpful, ensuring a truly memorable dining experience. Overall, The Cavendish exceeded our expectations. The combination of delicious Food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting made it the perfect choice for a Sunday lunch in London.

It's a nice pub, went with a couple of friends and the beer and the service are good. But, if you're hungry don't order the charcuterie boards they're 32 pounds a piece so naturally we thought they'd be much more generous and even ordered 2. Disappointed with what came out 2 tiny pieces of focacia, a really bland mozzarella, and a few slices of cured meats and a small cup of olives. The food served here compares to Michelin star quality restaurants that I have visited in the past. Every dietary requirement was catered for without any issues. The staff were highly attentive and overall I felt like a superstar. It was such a high level of service and quality. If you have the opportunity to dine here, I highly recommend it. I believe they are most well known for their fish and I thoroughly enjoyed the Dover sole as my main.
