Absolutly stunning ! We were seven people randomly coming by and saw the Christmas decoration. The service was very nice, both floors were beautiful and the food was both, nice and beautiful. Fantastic!

Autumn is in full swing and I'm here for all the cosy pub visits trying the best seasonal specials. @TheCavendish gastro pub  is one of them 😌Stunning interior and Autumn menu including 🎃Butternut Squash Veloute, 🍗Braised Boar Tortelloni with Truffle Butter or 🍐Pear tart. Small little modern pub, at least on the ground floor; didn't go up to the 1st floor. It was packed when I arrived, but they were able to squeeze me in. Quick service, huge drink menu, and the food was great (plan burger). Only complaint, if you'd call it that, is that it was a bit pricey for the portion size. But, I guess that's to be expected given its location.

Came here for a stop over for lunch as they offer food for dogs. They have a 3 course menu for £12 for dogs. Starters was a dog biscuit (my doggy didn’t like it) - it looked a bit plasticky, I thought they would have fresh food as starters. The mains - was fresh food although my doggy didn’t like it,, the staff were happy to switch it to see if he would eat it. Which was very kind. We had got distracted as about 20 dogs walked in for a doggy meet up, we only realised when we got home that our doggy didn’t get his dessert which was included in the menu :-( Apart from that adult food was good apart from the savoury starter. Think the dog menu could be a little better . But overall great place to bring a doggy over for the experience!

Avoid at all costs. This place is a complete shambles. Went there for a roast today and we waited over an hour for it to come and then when it came it was freezing cold. We then sent it back for them to tell us that they would reheat it.?? It came back and it was still freezing. They also forgot to bring our cauliflower cheese. An absolute mess. The food itself was terrible, really small portions and all reheated, so so underwhelming. Management and chefs need to go on a recce to marksman, bull n last and the draper arms to catch up on what proper upmarket pub food is. The prices that you’re charging you need to raise the bar. Awful on accounts, the service was so so bad. Fuming!!

The bar taps have nothing to indicate what they are so the bar staff tell you and then bring them to the table. £7.60 per pint and then 12.5% service charge for the staff to bring the drinks two feet from the bar. The pub is fine but it’s set up to rinse customers. Not for me.

The Cavendish, situated about a five-minute walk north of Oxford Street, Central London, provided a gentle setting for Sunday lunch after shopping indulgence. The Food: I enjoyed the Sunday roast so much that I scraped everything on my plate, including the horseradish sauce bowl. The lunch consists of a good portion of sirloin steak cooked to perfection, luxurious mashed parsnip, perfectly steamed savoy cabbage with an amazing texture, glazed carrot and, of course, roast potatoes and a super-size crispy Yorkshire pudding. Despite the bustling atmosphere of Central London, The Cavendish, located at the corner of New Cavendish and Westmoreland Street, offers a relaxed and perfect setting to observe the world go by. Unfortunately, a sudden rain shower forced us indoors, and we found ourselves in the cosy lounge on the first floor, which is an amazing space perfect for dining. The Cavendish's exceptional dining experience was made even better by the warm and attentive hospitality of Serena. Her willingness to assist was a standout feature of our visit. The rest of the staff were equally courteous and helpful, ensuring a truly memorable dining experience. Overall, The Cavendish exceeded our expectations. The combination of delicious Food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting made it the perfect choice for a Sunday lunch in London.

It's a nice pub, went with a couple of friends and the beer and the service are good. But, if you're hungry don't order the charcuterie boards they're 32 pounds a piece so naturally we thought they'd be much more generous and even ordered 2. Disappointed with what came out 2 tiny pieces of focacia, a really bland mozzarella, and a few slices of cured meats and a small cup of olives. We were all still hungry and ended up going to honest burger after a few more beers

Unplanned visit walking around London. Friendly service and dog friendly - they have a special dog menu. However I don't know how they could call this dessert a white chocolate mousse. 🚇Bond Street 🍺 £8.44 Kirin Lager ❤️ A stylish Marylebone Gastro. The Cavendish is located in the heart of Marylebone, just off Marylebone High Street. The nearest Tube station is Bond Street which takes around a ten minute walk, Baker Street Tube is also close by. Formerly The Duke of York, this pub has existed from the mid 18th century, the current building dates from the late 19th century. The pub closed for a period of time and reopened as The Cavendish in 2014. The decor is stylish and contemporary at this cosy one bar Gastro. The stainless steel topped servery is a good size and is sited by the windows on the left hand side. The walls are a mix of exposed brickwork and cobalt blue panelling which adds a punch of colour.. Adorning the walls are numerous black and white pictures and photos of one of my musical heroes, David Bowie. The seating is a combination of stools around small circular posers plus a few comfy high-backed banquettes. Upstairs is an additional room that has a cocktail bar feel. The beer line up was a bit of a mystery as none of the ten taps are labelled. There were two lagers to choose from, Kirin from Japan or Harbour a Cornish brew, I decided to head east for the Kirin. This was my first try of Kirin and I have to say my pint was excellent, but at £8.44 I was a bit shocked, this is the most I’ve paid for a pint in London. There is an A La Carte menu available which has an additional selection of small plates and burgers. I didn’t eat on my visit here but the reviews I’ve read are complimentary and positive. I arrived mid-afternoon on Bank Holiday Monday back in early May. There were three other groups of punters in attendance and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The was a soothing soundtrack of downtempo tunes which complemented the ambiance. The service here was superb, the staff were welcoming and super friendly which made my time here enjoyable. The @35newcavendish will definitely appeal to high end punters seeking out a classy Gastro with great service. The beer and food are without doubt top notch, but the price point may deter some from visiting. ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 08.05.23

The worst customer service ever experienced in a restaurant in Central London! We booked a table weeks in advance. When we arrived ( on time) we found that our table was not available. Indeed our table was still used by a group of people who have been seated prior to our arrival, and were still having drinks. It took 10 minutes for the hostess to even acknowledge us. After 15/20 minutes wait, it was clear that there was no intention for the restaurant staff/management to assign our table to us, despite our reservation. When we confronted the waitress about this, we were told that she would not ask the other punters to leave our table as ‘people want to take their time finishing their drinks’ After a further 15 minute wait, we decided to leave. It is not clear why this establishment takes reservations at all, when they don’t like to ‘reserve’ their tables ,nor take customers’ bookings seriously. There was no apology from the staff , and a total disregard for our time ( and our booking which we made weeks in advance). Shocking customer service too.

Our server was very friendly, food was delicious (though a tad pricey for what it was), cocktails were good (but also a bit pricey and lacked description in the menu). The only problem was that the music was really loud, almost like club type loud, and it was 6:45pm. It made it tough for us to have the “family dinner” we wanted and hold a conversation between the 6 of us. The man that greeted us at the door was friendly, responsive, and welcoming which was a great first impression. We would return if the music could be adjusted. I wasn't expecting much just looked like a nice pub from the outside to have some food and a few drinks. However the bar staff, I think Serena and Mike, were awesome and made the afternoon way more fun than it would have been without them. Will go back next time I'm in the area for sure.

The best and most reliable place in Marylebone. The food, drinks and atmosphere is 10/10. Everyone here, San especially makes the Cavendish the most enjoyable place! Could not recommend enough

It's great to have a coffee shop in the middle of a bookstore, especially if you are a mature student. Waterstones stocks a huge range of university books on a wide variety of subjects. You can browse, buy and relax over coffee and cake, or a sandwich and read your book. Or just watch the world flowing by.

It's stuffy in the basement and there's no daylight. The staff is unsuccessful, their English is inadequate. The products are already standard and I think they are a bit expensive
