The Caspian in Cheshire West and Chester

Ordered some food and the chips weren’t fully cooked. I rang and told them and was told to drive to them as there was no drivers. I told them I lived 15 minutes away! He started raising his voice asking what I expected him to do. So I told them I’d just do an honest review online instead and got the phone slammed down on me. Never again. It’s not the mistake that obviously do happen from time to time. It’s how they resolve it!

Dont do it to yourself. Ordered what seemed to be two kebabs -even asked if we wanted salad on each and what sauce we wanted on each - when it arrived it was one kebab when their large kebabs are cheaper than what we paid. Extremely misleading so i called them up and the RUDE employee just quickly told me it was one kebab and kept cutting me off saying "thank you good bye" trying to hang up on me. Very rude. Disgusting behaviour- oh and the food wasnt that great. Really disgusted with their takeaway. Just dont do it!!

Awful had a dilivery , came late and cold , paid for sauces never came and food like card board like they had pre cooked it , always loved this takeaway but never again

Always been a brilliant place, never been able to fault. Tonight, was charged more than menu says and also food was luke warm and over done at best. Disappointed. Will continued to the ever trusted Jeff’s of Kingsway. Called up to inform them and they said I would have to go back and they would do it again after me already waiting 20 minutes over time. Would not recommend this place to anyone and they are most unhelpful to complain to.

Just bought two kebabs for me and the boyfriend asked for garlic mayonnaise and they had put Tzatziki on… just thrown in the bin wAste of 15 quid goin home now to order one from local kebab shop!!! Don’t actually know what was difficult about the difference in the bloody sauces… idiots

I’m my entire life I have never ever been told i’m tubby, fat and have a big belly…. Well tonight , a Tuesday Night I have been, while ordering food at Caspian Chester! I’m a size 14, 5.7 woman and while kindly ordering food was told by the owner/ worker I’m tubby and fat and have a belly… apparently my sister is not fat and slim! Can you believe it. At first I thought it may have been a language barrier but no, he kept on going! 0n top of that they tried to charge us £48 for two chicken kebabs! What on earth is going on?! Also food is BAD!!! Do not visit, unless your into that thing…. If you are I woud recommend Karen restaurant!

£21 for a pizza and a portion of curly fries. I'd expect the food to be a lot less dreadful. The rude staff are clearly used to people questioning their prices. Not from round here so just went to the nearest place but the food here really isn't good at all.

The food is delicious, always boiling even when delivered. There is a lovely sense of community and a welcoming feel as the service is brilliant! I 100% recommend 10/10 :)

Dryest chips in the world, if you want any kind of sauces best believe you're paying extra for it, despite the £3.50 price tag. But forgetting all that, I received the worst customer service you could ever imagine, the staff I dealt with were downright rude

Ordered Donner meat and chips £7 extortion i wouldn't have minded if the Donner meat was properly cooked but it was tasteless and not worth the money considering you can get the same thing in Birmingham for half the price and tastes better more crapsian than Caspian

20 years since our last trip and called in as we were passing. Once again outstanding food cooked fresh in front of you. Hopefully we won’t leave it another 20 years before visiting again 😂

Terrible 'shish' kebab which was in fact flat cuts of overcooked meat that you get on a roast dinner. Called to get a card refund, demanded I return to the shop at 10.30pm and proceeded to tell me they've been there for years. Yes! Used to love you, but now you've sold out to cheap produce. Keep away!!!

Was feeling peckish so decided to order a burger from this kebab. Only had to wait 20 minutes for the delivery and when it turned up the lady told me I had been given chips too (which I didn’t order). Very pleased with this! Food was very hot too considered it was delivered so had been out of the kebab for some time before getting to me! Definitely recommend this kebab!

The standard of their donna kebab puts all other donna kebabs to shame. I literally won't eat them from anywhere else now.

We ordered a kebab and a burger with chips to be delivered. Meal arrived on time. The kebab was cold and the burger was bearable but the chips were freezing and tasted as if they were a week old. Yuck

Bought a couple of kebabs and they were good. Sadly, when I got home I realised they'd forgotten the cheese and gravy on my chips.

Just had a Donner meat and chips from there. It was awful. The chips were hard, dry and tasteless, the donner meat had a strange flavour and the garlic mayo tasted and looked like cottage cheese. That’s my last visit to there.

For a number of months we’ve talked about eating here, but after our disappointing takeaway we won’t be back for a number of months. The food was bland and ruined by an overly spicy chilli sauce.

The type of place only visited after 10 pints, the staff are rude, the food questionable and the service poor. If you like cheap low quality food it’s the place to go, if you don’t mind over bearing staff.Grimmest establishments I’ve entered in a long time and one I will never return too.

Worst kebab in Chester. It was like chewing rubber, it had a funny smell and taste. Chips were undercooked and cold. Chicken burger had no salad and sauces on it. They forgot my drink and refused to correct it.

Conseguí una pizza y donna kebab entregados. Absaloutley horrible. Pidió mayonesa de ajo y chile en kebab. Vino con lo que solo se puede describir como un baño de yogur que olía y sabía a leche rancia. Base de pizza era gruesa con salsa barata de barbacoa. Si no estoy sufriendo de enfermedad y diarrea mañana será un milagro.

My husband and I really enjoyed the mixed kebab, the meat was fresh, really really good. Not greasy and cooked to perfection.

Donar kebab was small not large and was not in Pita bread! Extremely disappointed with the kebab. Pizza was over cooked and very doughy. Saving grace was the garlic bread very nice. Overall a very poor takeaway and would never order from here again!

Really average chicken kebab, the pitta wasn't very good either. Granted I ordered the large and it was a considerable size, it filled me up but it wasn't particularly great tasting.

Quick delivery. Excellent customer service when i had to phone up as part of my order was wrong. With no hesitation they sent out the rest of my order. Will definitely order from here again. Food was delicious.

Ordered about 1.30 food didn't come untill 2.45. Pizza was freezer cold and like cardboard. Chicken strips were cold and chewie dog didn't even like them. Chips where soggy because they had been in the box that long. Only good thing was the can of doctor pepper. Won't be going back. £16.50 waste of money

A lo largo de los años, los kebabs y los extras siempre han sido excelentes e incluso me gustaría ir a Chester para comprar uno. Ahora vivo cerca del lugar en Chester y he tenido un par de kebabs recientemente, y debo decir que desde el cambio de propietario, la calidad y el servicio han disminuido a pesar del aumento de los precios. Es una pena porque me gusta el Caspio. El pollo kebab es bueno pero tuve un shish kebab y fue decepcionante

Food was lovely was just late on delivery. Pre ordered food at 4.50pm was meant to be delivered at 6.10pm food arrived at 6.50pm.

I ordered a ham pizza - tasted out of date and had a weird smell to the meat. Tried to ring the restaurant- for them to just put the phone done on me. Never had bad service from Caspian before. I won’t be returning. AVIOD the ham

Not much to look at from the outside, but have to say it was a cracking kebab! Meat wasn't at all fatty, and the salad was fresh and tasty.

Delivery time was too long, plus I was stated an hour delivery time which is too long as it is and in addition it was fifteen minutes late however the pizza was alright

Took longer than we were told for delivery. Food only just warm. Burger dry and burger bun stale. Tiny portion of kebab meat. We’ve used Caspian for over 20 years and This has got to be the worst meal we’ve ever had. Doubt will order again if this is what they’re serving.

En primer lugar, quiero decir que como familia hemos estado yendo y últimamente hemos recibido nuestros alimentos y lo hemos hecho durante muchos años. Cuando el nuevo propietario se hizo cargo (bestie) estaba un poco preocupado por qué no lo sé, ya que el servicio, la amabilidad y lo más importante, la comida siempre es fresca y exactamente lo que pedimos, doner carne, kebab, pizza nunca ha sido un mal lote después de 20 años impares como cliente. Doy un gran aplauso al equipo del Caspio con el que se pronuncian y maldicen terriblemente y lo único que intentan hacer es alimentarnos y ganarse la vida. Yo no me comería un kebab de ningún otro lado, así mis muchachos quedarían mejor. Les quiero a todos mantener el fabuloso servicio, estamos más que felices de ser honestos y pensar que a veces se olvidan de que son humanos como nosotros. Gracias, Caspian. Alexis 144 ahora, aquí está otro 20 años de gran servicio y comida.

Great food, love the hot wings only place that doesn't deep fry them which is great.

Quality food. Tasty and proper size kebab. Loads of salads and source + nice extra, whole green chilli.
