Bel pub in Soho, vicino a Covent Garden. Il piano terra è dedicato solo per chi beve, mentre al primo piano c’è una graziosa saletta per chi invece vuole pranzare o cenare. Propongono il tipico menu dei pub inglesi, molto buono l’hamburger. Il servizio è stato cordiale e con i giusti tempi. Non essendo molto grande consiglio di prenotare.

Since I came to London, I thought I'd have some fish and chips. So I searched for a store that day and went here. The fish and chips tasted just like you'd expect. My husband said it wasn't very tasty, but even this ``not-so-tasty'' dish is still fish and chips, right? I was satisfied with that. The dish I ordered with mushrooms on baguette wasn't very good, but the fish and chips were okay. Thank you for the meal.

A few years ago we were in this excellent London pub. Their food and atmosphere are excellent. We had some very fresh beers and some delicious appetizers.

Visiting from USA, it was the first place I ate at. Had the steak and pale ale pie and it was so good that for my last night in London I went back again to have it.

Managed to nab a spot outside for a couple of drinks before dinner down the road. When the weather is nice it's lovely out there but beware that due to the location you might receive interactions from strangers passing by, asking for money. The inside is nice and cool when it's hot outside, and we found it pretty quick getting a drink at the bar. Would recommend!

We ate in the dining room prior to a Theatre evening. Service was slow but the food was very good. Picture of the Sticky Toffee pudding with custard 😋 Mocktails/Cocktails were deliciously refreshing. It is a very old building and the toilets are tiny (be warned!)

We chose this pub for our pre theatre wedding anniversary dinner. I contacted the pub in advance to ask them if they could do anything to surprise my wife, they reserved us the best window seat, left a lovely note on our table and provided desserts for free. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent, very warm and friendly. We will definitely go back. Their pies are highly recommended!!

Called in for a drink and to meet a relative while visiting London. Arrived on a hot Thursday at about 5:00 prior to a meal in a nearby restaurant. Outside seating had already been taken, so headed inside, and thankfully it was nice and cool. Lovely traditional interior with plenty of seating which filled up by 6:00. Received a warm welcome, and efficient service. The pub had a nice selection of beers.

We highly recommend! For our last evening, we wanted to come back because we were sure we would have a good dinner and have a great time. Martin made us taste the wines. This gentleman is charming and funny. The setting of this pub is very pleasant, the beers are also good!

Unforgettable experience, definitely a pub to try for a real London experience. The "pie" ones are highly recommended. Great food and service, small place. Bangers and mash were amazing. Fish and chips were great too. I’m not a tartar sauce person, but this was the best. Prices were fair and about what you would expect. Service was great too.

An authentic British experience! The pub offers a welcoming and informal atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with friends after a long day. Martino was friendly and accommodating.. the food is delicious, I highly recommend trying the various Pies they offer, they are simply delicious! I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area.

Had booked into The Cambridge to eat between the two Harry Potter and the Cursed Child shows. I had looked at the menu before booking so knew what was on offer and the prices. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated straight away. We all chose the pies, two Shin beef and one steak and ale. These were all amazing and we enjoyed them so much. A couple in the party also had desserts, crumble and brownie. Highly recommend The Cambridge, the food and service were both of the highest standard

Delicious food and friendly service. I recommend the Beef Brisket Burger!!! The Ocean Fish and Chips were good too. Skip the mushy peas unless you really like them. They're an acquired taste not for the typical American palette. The side salad with Balsamic vinegar was good. Loved how they had the malted vinegar for the fries!!! DEFINITELY go back for a pint and Sticky Toffee Pudding and Bramley Apple.!.! I wish I'd taken photos of those.!!!!

Very nice "English" restaurant/pub, welcoming and with reasonable prices, where you can eat until around 10pm, unlike other pubs which close the kitchen at 9pm. Desserts and beer, super!!! Friendly and efficient dining room staff, "Martino" above all! Great friendliness and professionalism. I advise.

Traditional English food. We ordered a pie with chorizo and boar, fish and chips and salmon croquettes. The food was very fresh, it was not amazing but it was very good for a night out. The prices were not too steep for a Soho pub.

Nice traditional London pub with a great range of beers and spirits served by friendly staff with a great sense of humour. Although we weren't eating, the food being delivered to tables around us looked and smelled delicious! Only negative was the price of beer. Being in the middle of tourist town, the infamous cost of living crisis and a tax regime that targets us harshly - especially drink, makes drinking out a rare occasion these days but The Cambridge makes it a pleasant experience.

The service was very good - forgot the name of the waitress - she seemed to have served all Tables very well and went off duty before we cud thank her - a nice Table for 2 by Charing Cross - the chicken pie n dessert were delicious n the tap beer was lovely - came on the 3rd May but was full at 4 pm and closing at 10 pm - each time we climbed the stairs n got the bad news - maybe you should put a board downstairs giving the status of the availability- my 2 cents?

We stumbled across this place on our way to the theater. And it was the atmosphere and culture location we had been missing and looking for! We loved it so much we went back after the matenee show. Our first visit we had the fish and chips! So good we had tried fish and chips in about 4 different places because British fish and chips were all the rage as to being a must do , but we were left unimpressed until we had it here!! So good!! Then we had one of their pies when we came back. Another 2 thumbs up! Service was also great fast and friendly!! We will absolutely be back the next time we are in London!

Lovely little pub in the heart of all the hustle and bustle with both indoor and outdoor seating - a great place to people watch. Reasonably priced drinks. A great location and friendly staff.

We wanted typical British food and we ordered meat pie. It was excellent. Service was the same. If I am nearby I will go again for the same food.

We had a fantastic dinner here. My husband had the fish-n-chips and I ordered the meat pie. Delicious! Our waiters Akhil & Don were very nice too. They both gave us some helpful info on London for sightseeing.

We had service at the bar, however the bartender behind the bar was not friendly at all. He seemed aggravated that we wanted to sit on the first floor and eat. Even though everybody else was. Place was hot so we didn't want to go to the second floor cuz it would just be worse. Food was okay. Special. In my opinion very overpriced for not the best food

She made a couple of recommendations for drinks and food which were very helpful to us. Please compliment Marima for her excellent service which is much appreciated by us. She had cheered us up for the rest of the day.

Excellent Pub where you can feel the English atmosphere. Martino, a Polish guy who works in the pub, was very friendly and very good at recommending menus and beer. Thanks to Martino we had a wonderful evening. I recommend it if you are nearby.

It's a pub. I went for fish and chips. Although it was dinner time, it was relatively empty and the restaurant was lively and nice. There were two types of fish and chips, but I ordered the 21.5 pound one. As expected, I feel the effects of high prices and a weak yen. The fish is freshly fried and fluffy, and the fries come with a variety of ketchup and sauces, so you can enjoy them to your liking. There are many types of beer, and this time I ordered an IPA. I was very impressed with the way it poured. It's a very delicious beer. The inside of the bar is very lively and makes you think this is a British pub! I think it's a space where you can feel that. It will also be a great memory of your trip.

The Polish server upstairs is an absolute gem, thanks for the lovely dinner experience!

Though a lovely pub, I am not 100% convinced I was given legitimate bacardi in my drink. Otherwise nice staff and atmosphere for a pub in such a high tourist part of London.

We ate here twice during our holiday, which says enough, because we rarely do that. Tasty shortcrust pies and delicious fish dish. We sat upstairs by the window, where you have a nice view. Excellent service

Cozy English pub with nice atmosphere. The service was good and above all fast. The food was tasty and a decent price for London. You can get many English classics (fish and chips, pot pies, etc.) and vegetarians also have good options to choose from. It is located next to the Palace theater and my family and I had dinner here during the break between Part I and Part II. It was perfect because you got back to the theater in plenty of time thanks to the fast service and convenient location. Only the toilets were not very clean and had a long queue. Hopefully that was exceptional for this day.

We’ve been to the cambridge many times before but this time the food wasn’t great. It wasnt bad, just not as amazing as it used to be.

Pub che ho prenotato on line perché tipico inglese. Vengo chiamata alle 19 e mi viene detto di anticipare di mezz’ora la mia cena, perché è Pasqua… (non sapevano che fosse Pasqua al momento della mia prenotazione?). Arrivati lì, ci accomodiamo e mio marito deve cambiare per 3 volte la sua pietanza perché alcuni piatti non sono disponibili 🤦🏻‍♀️. Qualità del cibo sufficiente. Panini costosi e vi assicuro che quelli del Burger King sono più buoni. Si è salvata solo la mia Pie, anche se era più il sughetto che la carne… La cosa che più mi ha infastidito è stato il fatto che ci abbiano tolto i piatti davanti e acqua e bicchieri, addirittura, perché avevano fretta di chiudere e avevano già pronti i sacchetti della spazzatura ben in vista. La mia prenotazione era per una cena di 1 e mezza (fanno prenotare anche il tempo di durata della cena). Siamo stati praticamente invitati tacitamente ad andarcene dopo poco più di 1 ora. Non lo consiglio affatto

Only minus for pissed off at 1pm waitresses, I understand serving is not for everyone but the attitude she was presenting on 17th March was just wrong... pirces same for London the pricture drinks and food just about 50£

Top service, fish and chips also. On the other hand, the beer could be better, there's just the Beavertown craft beer neck oil which is good.

Stopped here for a light lunch and a couple of drinks before a show nearby. A lovely quaint London pub in a great location. We both had the potato and leek soup with delicious sourdough bread and fresh chips. Absolutely lush. Plenty of drink options and all the staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

A busy place right next to The Cursed Child. Not the best experience. Food was ok but the Veggie dish was disappointing. Pricing ok for London and very handy. Pint ordered but never arrived, also the dish didn't match description and we had to raise this as an issue which we then got charged for (mashed potatoes), then they took it off again after complained. Ok but not great.

Forget the McDonalds across the way from the Pub. We called in for something to eat. You can eat upstairs in the restaurant but we decided to eat in the bar. We had a tablethat looked onto Charing Cross Road (People watching) The food was very tasty & incredibly hot (which I like). We both enjoyed our meals & mine was the Garlic chicken Schnizel Chicken with chips. My wife had the ‘Hand Pulled Lamb Shank Shepherds Pie’ full of thick pieces of Lamb. One of the best shepherds pies that she as ever had. Next time we are in London I will call in if we are around the area. Staff friendly & although only a small area to eat & drink it was just great. By the way don’t diss me…I eat with my fork in my right hand and the knife in the left. There are a few of us around. 👍
