My favourite little work local. Reliable, good beers, cozy

Small traditional pub serving decent beer, able to sit outside, which in October is unusual! no many pubs left like this.

An amazing little place you won't find by looking for it. You just stumble upon it and fall in love with it.

Arrived at 2 just as opening.beer was poor quality(spitfire ale). Landlord very abrupt with a customer arriving with a dog .he left without buying a drink.

From Dallas, TX and I love visiting London and often. I enjoy experiencing different pubs. Great place to stop by, have a pint, and relax at this cozy corner pub. They serve Spitfire Amber beer which is my favorite British beer.

Very nice lowkey pub near Victoria station

The board outisde states patrons will receive a 'warm welcome' at this pub. The slightly rotund gentleman that served us did so with literally no appeal verbal cues. Not a single word crossed his lips.

Used to work around the corner in the eighties/nineties. Every Friday afternoon a get-together with colleagues! Lovely time! Those were the days!

Lovely pub, helpful, efficient, friendly young staff and a working landlady(I assumed) Clean! a quiet tv with match on but a pub you can have a conversation in. Long may it survive - I will make a point of drinking there again.

Nice pub just around the corner from work where we like to go for a drink. It is very, very small though and can be quite uncomfortable. Real shame there's no food on offer other than crisps. Real chips, nachos, or other nibbles would make a real difference,

Quaint tiny pub - a hidden gem amongst the new development shooting up around Victoria. We’ve been a number of times and one thing that puts us off is the staff - not the friendliest bunch for your post work pint.

Good to be back in this small but very hospitable pub after its recent renovation.

I popped in today just before an interview next door, having forgotten my wallet back in Cardiff and having walked all the way from Paddington. The landlord was incredibly kind, letting me catch my breath and giving me a glass of water. What a gorgeous pub, and the welcome couldn't have been nicer. Lovely old style pub. Can't recommend it enough.

Traditional features and intimate atmosphere, well-kept ale and lovey bar-staff. It is my favourite pub around Victoria.

The most unwelcoming pub ever, easily the rudest staff in London, possibly the world. Disgraceful. Customer service is nonexistent. They made our whole tour group feel like we had done something wrong by walking through their door. Their are Plenty of other pubs in a 5 minute walking distance of this dump that treat their customers a million times better.

Great pub with incredibly well looked after ale. The staff are always friendly on my visits too.

Delightful tiny little pub, spitfire ale was good, barmaid was pleasant and helpful, the cheese and ham toastie was traditional.

Lovely little pub, very welcoming and a nice choice of drinks. The only issue is that because it is so small, it isn't really an option when it's busy as even the outside gets packed out. But for those quieter nights it's perfect.

Nice place but incredibly small. Has all your Shepherd Name favourites but in evenings can get utterly rammed.

I really do quite like this unassuming, almost 'hole in a wall' establishment. In this saturated era of bewildering variations on fruity, citrusy, crafty, frisky, IPA'y...blah-blah beers, it's just nice to be able to get a few calmer, deeper old school flavours. In fact, much more relevant to our northerly latitudes, especially with winter just around the corner.

Tiny back street boozer just off Victoria Street. Frequented by office workers and locals. In the warmer weather crowds often spill out onto the pavement out front. Usually serves up to four Shepherd Neame beers.

Quite (when I was there on a Friday evening) small pub. Decent range of beers, reasonable prices.

A British friend suggested meeting there. It is tiny and cozy and cute. We didn't stay because we weren't drinking and they didn't have soup which is what we were looking for for lunch. Another time.

We popped in to the Cask & Glass after wandering around London all day. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed a number of drinks before moving on. The vibe here was pretty laid back and we really enjoyed hanging out here.

We stumbled upon this pub when we were walking back to our hotel in some rainy weather. We stopped in for a pint and ended up staying for two. It was a chill place to relax for a couple drinks.

This small but perfectly-formed pub makes a great place for a civilised after-work drink. It's popular, so frequently gets full inside. There's good space outside on the pavement, so it's rarely an issue. A good range of drinks, reasonably priced given the area.

Seems a bit out of place in the area but a very welcome find of classic pub where most everything else on offer is an overly posh or pretentious sloaney bar. Bar staff were friendly, has a pool table, not too expensive (especially given the area), can't go wrong

Small, cosy traditional single bar room style pub. A hdden gem off the main drag of Victoria Street located on Palace Street. Welcoming landlord and pleasant staff. A few tables on the doorstep with heating.

Friendly postage stamp size pub. Great for a pint stood on the pavement or get friendly and snuggle together in the bar. A traditional pub with cheeky service to match.

First time visited. Smallest pub in Ldn I’ve ever been in, that said had a good seat inside and enjoyed more than a few Whitstable Ales, barman doesn’t smile ever 😁 which adds to the ambience. Service was grand and outside was packed. Will certainly drink there again given the chance. 👍

Great little one room village pub tucked in amongst the glass offices of Victoria. Shepherd Neame beer and others. Comfy indoor seating and outdoor tables when the weather's good. Top pub.

Nice pub not too far from Victoria station. Decent selection of drinks, friendly efficient staff, nice interior and clean toilets. Not a great deal of room inside so may be difficult to find indoor seating at busy times but there's plenty of standing space outside.

Called up on Thursday and spoke to Sally to try to reserve a table for myself and a friend. Was told table reservations aren't possible as there's only 5 tables inside but would be likely to get a table at the time I was planning to arrive (2.30pm on Friday). My friend arrived first at 2pm and there was only one other table at the time occupied. At about 3pm we moved from inside to one of the tables out the front (I think there's a total of 3 or 4 tables out front) and by 3.30pm all of the office workers arrived and were spilling out into the road. Glad we got there early to get a seat! Enjoyed 3 pints of Spitfire each which were extremely well kept and were delightful! Will definitely be back the next time I'm visiting London.

The Cask & Glass is a charming little pub situated closely to Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station. It feels very snug and on a rainy day you could comfortably stay for a while have a few pints and watch the world go by.

Smallest but most efficient pub in Victoria. Always popular with the post work pint crew and the quick pint at lunch. Beers good, staff are well organised. All in all an old school proper pub. If you want gastropub please go elsewhere...

Quite simply the friendliest pub in Victoria, Neil always gives you the friendliest smile, is full of energy and cannot do enough to help you. I love their toasties as well!

We were in London to see the Wicked show at the nearby Apollo Victoria - and I immediately thought of the C&G for pre-show drinks, having visited at other times over the years. It's a very small and characterful pub with a cosy interior - we loved the pics of old London on the walls, and the sense of history. It's also a nice spot to sit outside and watch the world go by and, despite the huge towerblocks looking over and the noisy Victoria Road nearby, actually feels surprisingly quiet and villagey. There's a good beer range, and the girl behind the bar offered to let me try the beer before buying if I wished. If (like me) you're a fan of the cult 1960s TV show The Prisoner you're in for a treat - the house featured in the opening credits is literally behind the pub! I was so astonished when I first saw that, and it's another thing that makes this place so unique and special. I'd def recommend this small and unpretentious pub if you're in the area for a drink - looking forward already to my next visit.

Top drawer "one for the road" pub near to Victoria station, the opposite of the spoons in the station, small traditional interior.

Lovely little pub just off main drag of Victoria St.. Still remember them serving half pints only and having sausages in slow cooker behind the bar. Good times. Still a good spot.

Wooden fixtures...creamy pints...cosy booths...taciturn tender...i love this place. wonderful spot to curl up with a cosy pint.

Traditional pub. Was very quiet when we went in at 1.30pm Beer was good. Toilets clean. If you’re looking for a traditional English pub this would be the place to go. Dwarfed now buy a new bar and restaurant development close by.
