First visit to London, 12 pubs in 9 days. The Volunteer has the best sticky toffee pudding! Our server Dani was excellent! Great atmosphere right next to the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

Nice and quiet on a Monday, ate well and was very well received — I was served by Mara, who was very welcoming and gave good suggestions. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch

Great food, lovely decor. Quiet on a Monday afternoon, very handy to Regent's Park. Loved the calamari, ale pie and sticky toffee pudding with ginger ice cream.

Had our first Sunday roast here, it was delicious. Our waiter Kimani was so helpful during our time.

The food was great and I really liked the place a lot! Kimani was great and served us well! Would come again!

Very nice and rustic pub with a Victorian flair. Haven't eaten better anywhere in London than here. The service was also very accommodating. We would eat here again and again.

Nice cosy pub they know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness so kudos to them. I didn't have any food, but from what I saw around me, it looks nice

Danni was our server, attentive and endearing! I enjoyed the chicken bacon burger with a really yummy House sauce. Wife got chorizo and shrimp also yummy with some good parmesan fries. We particularly enjoyed the ginger, sticky toffee pudding. Great meal after seeing the Holmes Museum and shop.

I highly recommend this pub! The atmosphere there is amazing, the prices are good, excellent service - Sot was very helpful and friendly helping us with the menu best choices always with a smile! She made our experience at the pub even better. We will visit this place again for sure!

Best experience here at The Volunteer!! Dani was fantastic-atmosphere was ideal and the food checked all of my silly American check list items… Delicious, actually the BEST Fish and Chips and I finally found an amazing Sticky Toffee Pudding!!! YUM!!

We had a fantastic meal at The Volunteer on our trip to London. Both of my kids have food allergies, and our server, Dani, was incredibly careful with our meals. She went out of her way to check that their orders were safe, and all of our meals were delicious. It’s a lively and fun pub - definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

My husband and I wanted to go to a pub in London. it was close to the Sherlock Holmes museum and we decided to have a beer and a snack there. However, this was not just a snack; it was a whole feast. We ate two dishes and ordered Stout and Hazy beer. The battered fish was amazing, the batter was crunchy, and inside was the most tender, delicious fish. My husband ate a meat pie. it was also very tasty. We ate and drank beer. The beer is very tasty and high quality. We was extremely surprised at this price. Only 50 pounds. it's just nothing for such a lunch. Dani served us, she is very nice and attractive, and also very professional. She recommended food and beer for us and even let us try the beer to choose. I haven't encountered such a service for a long time. I highly recommend it to everyone! You will not regret!

We have Sot and Austin today they were both really friendly and helpful. Food was great and they always made sure to be wary of allergies. For us the only draw backs were no kids menus and no changing facilities. Gets very busy late lunchtime

Emily provided the table service and she was excellent. Even though it was a Friday night and the place was heaving, she was always smiling and very polite. She came by a couple of times to ask if everything was alright with the food and drinks. I felt very well looked after.

Probably our best meal in London. Staff was super friendly and offered the best service we’ve had here yet. Sourdough loaf was hot and fresh. Burger was great. Fish and chips were massive and perfect. Chicken schnitzel was superb. Selection of Camden Town brews were great. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Nice pub right next to the iconic 221B Baker Street. It's nice to drop by for a moment for a delicious craft beer, and there is a large selection to choose from. Nice service and help. Greetings to Sota!
