Great spot and nice decor a place which could be excellent! Visited a couple of times last year to support local. Coffee is good and some tasty cakes. Panini also good! Disappointingly, cake portions are small and it is quite pricy. Even more disappointingly, the twice we had ice creams they were like child’s portions. It felt like being ripped off. Other locals have commented the same. Hopefully, the cake kitchen will take feedback on board. More so than ever, customers look for value for money and unfortunately you don’t get that overall here. It’s also a shame they aren’t supporting Welsh and selling Welsh ice cream. Would have been nice to see this local cafe at the local carnival which is one of Chirks biggest events. The cake kitchen also needs to clearly advertise its opening hours. The cake kitchen could be excellent for the community and the community could be excellent for the cake kitchen.

We are so glad we found this coffee shop. Absolutely delicious cakes and drinks. The cake counter is amazing, all fresh and homemade. Mint aero brownie & hot chocolate was 10/10. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Small but perfect! Spotlessly clean little cafe with the most amazing array of cakes. Iron & Fire coffee was a real treat. We had a ginger loaf cake, plum, pistachio & damson slice, tea & a lovely cappuccino, all for a little over £10. Absolute treat and excellent value for quality cakes & coffee. Thank you, we will be back!

This was our first outing out as a new family of 3 with our 5 day old baby. I have been to the Cake Kitchen several before and always liked it but we had a really not very nice experience this time. There was no such thing as service with a smile, the barista seemed in such a mood, no welcome or how are you or anything. It was like we were just being a nuisance just ordering a coffee! She didn’t bother to carry the coffees over to our table leaving me (5 days post partum and still very stiff) to shakily carry them myself. No care was taken in making our coffees, my husbands flat white was very weak and the milk was burned and thin not smooth at all like a flat white should be. We left quickly feeling really deflated and disappointed and I just wanted to head home. Don’t think we will be rushing back. It doesn’t take much to be kind and smiley to customers.

We recently booked and visited this establishment for a Sunday roast / 93rd birthday party, (not me by the way!) as we were staying locally for the weekend. Well what can I say!!, as soon as I arrived, the outside looked like someone’s house in this tiny, yet beautiful village, however once over the threshold it became apparent how large and beautiful the inside of this pub was, even Doctor Who would’ve been impressed with this tardis! I and another family member were greeted by a warm and friendly faced landlady, and she was a lady! Asked where we were from and made us feel incredibly welcome, then she let herself down by undercharging us for our pints £4.50 each!! At home in Wiltshire I pay £6.50 for the very same pint. We were shown to our own large table (11 people), set on our own. This restaurant was impeccable. The food was perfect with some difficult family members dietary requirements, even the chef came to the table which turned out to be the landlord, what a nice guy he was too. This place was so good, I felt only obliged to buy the landlord and landlady a drink to say thank you for looking after us. After giving the 93-year-old the bumps to celebrate, we left happy and fulfilled. Thank you guys!

Not been here before, what a lovely venue. Food was delicious, well presented and served by a lovely friendly server. It is rare I leave food but I could not of eaten another bite. The lovely gentle piano music in the background was so nice and relaxing. We eill definately be returning here.

Just back from a lovely Sunday Lunch at The Pemberton Arms, there was even a menu for the dog, although as he has no money of his own he was out of luck! Louisa was very polite and helpful, will definitely call again.
