Always a great place in the center of town to meet friends for coffee and a meal.

Really lovely place very friendly staff and the full breakfast was so good. 👌 Great place to go to start your day of shopping.

Can always rely on this and the other Lounges for good food and drink... particularly enjoy the quirky decor, wall art and spaciousness of the place. And excellent menu choice for GF, vegan, kids.

This is a great place for Gluten Free food. The lounges train their staff to a high level, and there is a great selection. Have never had a reaction in any of these Former courthouse which is beautiful inside. Great range of drinks as well. The buttermilk chicken and halloumi fries are a great GF treat. My wife had the flat bread and they always make it clear to separate out the meals. The GF means the manager has to serve you to make sure accountability.

Good food but expensive for what you get

Put simply the only nice part ofmy meal was the chips, the buttermilk chivken was worse than what i get in a tesco meal deal and the mac and cheese was equivelent to a microwavable gone off turd

Amazing food as always, me and mum always come here for brunch. Always very well cooked and delicious. And prices are very reasonable. Shall be returning again often

Was really happy with the salad I had. Everyone else’s dishes looked great too, especially the tapas. One of our party members was disappointed there was no british beer on tap (they’re visiting from abroad) but I really liked the elderflower alcohol free cocktail I had

Every time we go to Carmarthen, we eat at the Cofio Lounge. We order on the QR code to make life a little easier with a small child. The food quality is always superb and arrives in good time. The choice is great, but having been so many times, we end up ordering the same meals now! The facilities are clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you want to eat at Cofio Lounge at lunch or dinner, get there well in advance otherwise you will be waiting for half an hour plus as it is popular. Highly recommended.

I come here often with my friends, which tells you everything you need to know really. It's a really nice place with great food and wonderful service. I will continue to visit here. No complaints.

I went here today for a change. I had never been here before. I was looking forward, but left there with disappointment. This place was one of the only places that were open since a load of shops were closed on Sunday. Firstly, we had taken a seat, decided what to order and sat there for quite a while, waiting for someone to come and collect the orders. If someone had told us to order by the till, this would have been more convenient. I ordered a buttermilk chicken breast which came with coleslaw and chips. When this arrived, there wasn’t much on the plate. The chips were lukewarm. The chicken was slightly dry and very bland. The only redeemable food was the coleslaw. I wanted to ask for a refund, but the staff members were too busy and we didn’t have time. I have had experience working in a coffee shop / cafe and this sort of standard is not acceptable. I won’t be coming here again. There was nothing much positive to write home about. I would suggest other people to find someplace else, such as the Warren or Pinto’s where they opt for quality food and ensure good customer service. I am still hungry after leaving an hour and half ago.

Had a brilliant works Christmas/baby shower party last night. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was tasty and staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely returning with my husband for food

Came in to get food and somwthing drink, i asked for an irish coffee, and the emo looking girl said, "You dont have a licnese to make such a thing and the blonde girl said that too" i had repeat table number a few times to the emo scene looking girl. Thwy have me an americano and shot whiskey on side... Ahteo lounge in aberwyswyth can do an irish coffee

Love this place. Good menu, good food, good attentive Team. Historic setting in the old courthouse at the heart of the market town of Carmarthen.

Food was quite nice, reasonable portions and came quickly. Staff pleasant. It was a Friday and really busy so perhaps book. I was more impressed with the building - a converted court! If you go upstairs to the toilets, the old court room with all of the seats and booths etc is preserved for you to see. Quite a surprise!

We enjoyed our visit and look forward to visiting again soon.

You expect hospitality businesses to make mistakes occasionally, especially at busy times, but if an allergy order is wrong and the replacement takes as long as the initial order, I wonder if processes can be tweaked a little. Like for instance, put the corrected order to the front of the queue? A party of two effectively ended up eating separately. Better next time, hopefully 🙂

The last time was here a few weeks ago for breakfast it was equally as good!!.. today it was more-so a light lunch and again it was excellent! Aided by the pleasant nature of the staff, a smile and warm greeting on arrival, and a shout over the bar as leaving…. “Thank you!!” (It means a lot) Will be in again when in the area!

It can be very hard to eat safely when I’m out as I am very gluten intolerant. It’s so fantastic to come here and be handed a whole menu of foods that I can have. A special member of staff takes your order and they are fully aware of cross contamination. I have eaten here 3 times now and not been ill. And the food is absolutely lovely. The fries are the best I’ve ever had . The service was fast, efficient and very friendly. If I didn’t live in Ireland I’d eat here regularly.

We were on our way from Yorkshire to Tenby and stopped in Carmarthen for a late lunch. We came across the Cofio Lounge and thought it looked an interesting building. It was beautifully and uniquely decorated and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The trip upstairs to the toilets was rewarded with a peak at the old court room. Definitely recommend for a lunch or coffee stop.

We both had a flat bread - quite tasty but a bit pricey for what it was. All good otherwise.

Just on the off chance visit to carmarthen we came across this lovely place ...food was stunning atmosphere n decor a delight ...service 10/10. Will definitely call again

Very welcoming and good quality.

After been told to sit anywhere and waiting another 15 minutes I left the restaurant. The only contact I had with a waitress was when she delivered someone else's meal to me and I informed her that I had not ordered yet. She did not come back to me. Definitely not the service I am accustomed to.

Lovely coffee and cake, served by two lovely people. A bit dark inside but we sat outside.

Sadly, not great meals. Our last visit was lovely but not last night. Over cooked food and dry cake. It's a shame as it spoilt our evening. The chef was clearly off their A game

There were 8 of us called foe lunch, only 7 meals turned up, had to reorder by the time it turned up everyone else had finished their food, Poor service

Fabulous building right in the middle of town steeped in history. We had breakfast today and we all agreed it was lush. Three full breakfast one eggs benedict. All was cooked to perfection. The eggs were absolutely lovely. Staff were really nice and welcoming. If you are in town this is definitely a place to visit.

Nicely decorated place, clean toilets with a court area upstairs. Long wait for food, ordered Tapas, not a big choice & basic without a Spanish taste, other food choices ok

This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. The building has such a lovely feel to it you can just feel the history around you. I loved the maximalist decor with lots of colour and opulence. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We will definitely come again.

I love coming here when I have a tough day or before work. I already have my favourite food and favourite spots and have never been disappointed. Today's music playlist was exceptionally good. I enjoy the atmosphere and the amount of details. The staff are busy because of the amount of guests, but they are always polite and friendly.

Food was lovely but 4 out of 8 of our party came down with a nasty virus at the same time after eating here. Definitely not a coincidence as we hadn’t been anywhere else to catch anything. Hygiene standards need assessing here.

I really enjoyed my meal (the chilli) but the others in the group felt their meals were just ok. The thing that let it down the most was the 50 min wait between finishing mains and deserts arriving despite ordering it all on the app at the start of the meal. We ordered coffees separately after finishing our mains and they arrived in about 10 mins but there must have been a mistake with them notifying the kitchen that we were ready for desert as we ended up having to ask twice. The kids were fed up of waiting and wanting to leave…but we’d already paid for the food on the app. When the churros arrived the kids were underwhelmed. Hardly any cinnamon and the choc sauce dip wasn’t proper chocolate, just a syrupy sugary liquid. For £7..something each they weren’t worth the money or the wait! Our waitress was very polite and apologised for the wait. It was just a shame it happened.

Looking for a brunch stop while on a tour. This place was selected from TripAdvisor. We usually try and find somewhere just off the road, but this place was in the town itself. The grumbling soon stopped when we were served our food. Very friendly staff and truly excellent dishes all round. I had the shaksuka (with chorizo) and it was superb. Likewise my coffee was wonderful. Lovely surroundings and a spotless gents toilet. We won't be complaining when we are travelling through Carmarthen next time. There will be a bee line for this place.

Very beautiful building with cozy seating areas. Food was tasty and the price quality was excellent. Highly recommended for vegetarians and people who eat gluten-free. Went there for lunch with colleagues. Nice atmosphere and ambiance. Food came in time and was delicious. A+++

Absolutely lovely and right in the middle of town. Dog friendly is right - my one was welcomed in and had his own little bowl of water! Brunch was superb and highly recommended

Ordered the sausage sandwich, recieved 1 sausage cut into quarters. Didn’t even taste nice. Waitress checked that this is how it comes. & yes it it. Shocking.

My wife ordered my self poached egg on muff With no hollandaise sauce. When it came the muffin was like eating soggy bread .when I complained about this and the price which was £8.75 not very Happy. Want be back.

We all enjoyed our food, but service was very slow which was probably due to it being a very busy lunch time.

One of the "lounge" brand of food pubs. Nice food comparable with others in the chain. The chain is a good place for eating alone as you can get a table then order with a QR code so you don't lose your table.

Cofio has been opened a couple of years now , and Friday was first time I tried their food. Just to say never again, my burger which is simple to make was dry as a bone and inedible, total waste of money, left there hungry. Cofio is a chain so didn't expect much but if they have a cook it should be cooked right The place was not busy considering it was lunch hour but maybe prices of drinks which were very expensive and quality of food has put people off. I won't be calling again.

After a very long journey to get to Carmarthen we went wandering to find dinner. Were delighted to come across such a lovely restaurant and totally in disbelief at the great menu choice, especially for my gluten intolerant daughter. The staff were nice and efficient. Had a great tasting meal, portion could have been slightly bigger for the price but overall a great venue, with the wonderful added bonus of a great band playing. Totally recommend, especially as it has lovely, quirky decor too.

The restaurant was welcoming and allowed us to have our dog on the ground floor of the restaurant. We were seated quickly upon arrival. I ordered a hot chocolate with marshmallows and a big lounge breakfast. They initially forgot to bring the marshmallows for the hot chocolate, but once asked, they brought over quite a few marshmallows to make up for it. The big lounge breakfast was good, but the bacon and black pudding were very well done and might not be to everyone's taste.

If only Cofio Lounge was as good as it looks! So disappointing. Apathetic staff & mediocre coffee and cake. I ordered a flat white, it tasted like a latte. There was no sugar on the table (empty sachets in the pot). When I asked for some the waiter brought me a new jar, he didn't even notice the glass was quite badly broken. They had a good selection of GF cakes, the brownie was cold, rock solid and unappetising, took it home and warmed it up and it was very nice. I would normally have complained directly, but it took a while to get my order and I had to run for my train. Hopefully just an off day for Cofio Lounge.

Food quality poor. Seems to be frozen food heated up. Chips were cold and were presented in a small cup. I had a tapas plate. Chicken dry and tasteless. Calamari dry and tasteless. Wife had a Mezze Bowl...dry, tasteless and inedible. Took it back but no refund offered. Gordon Ramsay would tear this place to bits. Shame really as in nice old building.

Edit: May 2024 Pleased to be able to edit my original 2 star review. Great experience after revisiting Cofio Lounge. Quick service and the food was lovely. Original review: After having been to the other 'Lounges' in Swansea I was looking forward to trying out this one in Carmarthen. The decor is just as nice and I'm sure the food would have been lovely if I had been able to get served in a reasonable time. I visited on a Sunday morning and there was only one member of staff behind the bar taking orders for drinks and food, he was also making coffee and teas etc. Nobody else was called to help take orders at such a busy time, and no apology offered to the people waiting in the queue. I waited in the queue for 15 minutes with absolutely no movement, so I left. Very disappointing, woefully understaffed and excruciatingly slow service. This review is not a reflection on the staff working there themselves, or the food, but the management for not ensuring that they have staff where they need at busy times.

Husband and I went for an early evening meal. First time for him, both had Tappas to share plus Cherros and drinks. Enjoyed the food, it made a lovely change. Charming staff, polite and made sure we were enjoying and happy. Will definitely be calling again

Visited with family for breakfast. We were a large group but were able to be seated together without booking ahead which was great. The food was good and reasonably priced with a decent selection of everything you would expect. If I were looking for a place to go to breakfast this would certainly be on the list.

Would be 3.5 stars if possible, let’s begin with this…. Food was outstanding! But the portions… oh my, just nowhere near big enough, like not even closeeee! My partner & is ordered 6 items off the tapas Tuesday menu & also an additional halloumi starter (which had 3, yes 3 pieces of halloumi for over £6, don’t get me started) but after the meal we were wanting more! The food is so nice, but surely everyone who visits is thinking the same & leaving probably hungry.

I often use this restaurant. It's in a beautiful building. The service via app is swift, friendly and easy. There is a good range of food, that has always met our expectations. The restaurant is busy with a relaxed feeling.

I stopped here for a quick lunch today and I'm glad I did. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great and I had a banoffee milkshake that was very nice indeed!

We are normaly here every Friday morning for Breakfast. The Staff here are very atentive and frendly. My wife has a Gluten alergy and the level menu is gtreat for her with lots of options unlike some other places that just miss stuff off. There alergy policy is second to none with only a Manger able to take your order then red flags in the food making it very dificult for a mistake to happen. If you are Gluten intolerant or have any any other alergys this is a safe place to eat. Also the food is very tasty and good value for money with high quality food being used. You get what you pay for. Keep up the good work and thank you for a great place to eat and drink.

Great experience here! From the start it was clearly indicated what I could safely eat due to my celiac disease and vegetarian preference. It was continuously indicated that they could not give a 100% guarantee, I understand that, but it was nice to know that there is a dedicated person in the service and kitchen who makes my food. In addition to the gluten-free oven and fryer. Good answers were given to my questions everywhere and that put my mind at ease. The portions were a little smaller than I expected, but I'll order more for next time.

A first class breakfast/brunch tasty food with a delightful ambience. Full of character comfortable.
