The Café @ Yellowave in Brighton and Hove

would recommend if you’re looking for a spot near the beach with great coffee.

Very pleasant. Tried the chorizo sausage roll and mushroom pasty slice. Both were very well made and tasty. Coffee was good too. Enjoyable to watch games playing while enjoying atmosphere and sunshine. Would recommend.

Dreadful! Stood about 8 deep in the queue for 15 mins , it didn't move an inch! Gave up and went elsewhere. 10 minutes later, the woman who was in front of me also appeared at my "elsewhere" cafe . She also gave up queuing!!!

We always live eating here with our grandchildren. Great with the sand for them to play in too

I go here for my daily cappuccino. In the summer it's a great place to sit and relax Service is always excellent, with a genuine smile and happy attitude. Coffee is really good. Just make sure you ask for the loyalty card as they don't advertise it ;)

Just stopped for glasses of wine. Food service had finished. Always a good atmosphere here even if too many kids 🤣 Seriously though parents - stop your children chasing pigeons 🙄

Oh wow! This place was incredible!!! Food amazing! Staff lovely! Can refill your water bottle! Clean! Loved the chickpea salad! Chai is lovely too, not syrup. Can't rate this place highly enough! I look forward to going back!

Great cafe by the beach. Delicious cakes and coffee. Wonderful, kind and attentive staff. Good place to sit and read a book on a rainy day or watch beach volleyball live. Quiet during weekday morning hours, gets busier close to lunch, but not sure about the weekends. Cafe also serves home made soups and brunch, omelettes etc.

Great cozy space and far less busy than the cafe at Sea Lanes. Service was a little slow but forgiveable. If you are looking for a cafe which also serves alcohol and food, look no further. You can also sit outside and they have a big awning.

Omg! Such an amazing vibe. Sat and had food/drink, the sun was shining and volleyball was being played. SO Brighton, SO chilled, SO for everyone.

Great cafe with something for all tastes. The sandy play area is popular with kids and hopefully one day I'll see a little terror bowled over by a loose volley.

Lovely beach front cafe. Only stopped for coffee. Saw others eating what looked like good food

We held our son's 7th birthday party here, hired one of the staff to entertain the children for an hour which was done wonderfully. The food is good, great value, speedily prepared and delivered by clearly happy staff. I have always enjoyed the chilled out atmosphere in the cafe here, though I've never come to play volleyball.

Very nice cafe serving excellent coffee and light food. You can sit inside or outside. It is part of a play and activity area on the beach, but you can visit the cafe itself anyway.

Relaxed and fun place, great sandpit for kids. Friendly staff and nice smoothies, though they didn't have my first choice of flavour, my second choice was delicious!

Popped in here for a light lunch on Sunday... pretty busy, but managed to get a table indoors out of the rain for 3 families! Food was very good, and arrived pretty quickly. I had the veggie chilli with a jacket potato, and this looked and tasted home made, nice and hot and a decent portion size. Staff nice and friendly too. All good.

Great coffee and lovely staff. The sand pit for toddlers was adored by the grandson.

It's great and good to have child sandpit close by.A bit expensive.
