First time visiting and I had a full English breakfast and a coffee. Polite and courteous waitress. The food items were all of good quality and nice presentation. However the bacon and sausage were borderline cooked. It put me off a little. The chairs are a little uncomfortable too. That said a nice change to Wetherspoons across the way.

I'm not local, came across this lovely, unique looking cafe. Seemed very busy which is a great sign. Waitresses were lovely and provided top service. I ordered a burger, it was half an hour wait (which is normal, totally worth it). No wonder you have to wait because the chef obviously cooked from scratch... to perfection with great care. Was the best burger I've ever eaten, no joke. The meat itself tasted of high quality, melt in your mouth. I was stuffed and couldn't believe how reasonable the price was. Sweet potato fries made a lovely side, was stuffed all day. If you want top service, amazing quality/quantity and reasonable price... you must attend here! Definitely be returning to Sandbach just for this absolutely gem of a cafe.

Fantastic experience. The staff were really friendly and the food and coffee was excellent. We had sausage and bacon sandwiches and the bread was really fresh. We arexalso very particular about our lattes. They were hot nd nit too strong. When we visit Sandbach we always go there.😁

Much nicer inside than you'd expect from the outside. The menu is varied and imaginative while the service was mostly efficient and friendly. The shakshuka was tasty but the egg had been cooked separately and until the yolk was completely set. Also one item of our menu was forgotten and thus arrived late, with no explanation or apology. Despite these points it's a good 4/5 and recommended.

I love this café! The owners are a brother and sister team, foodies and passionate about locally sourced ingredients. They have skilfully put together an interesting and delicious brunch and lunch menu, with updates to keep you coming back to try alternative, new dishes. The coffee and cake are excellent, and service is second-to-none. I love visiting and happy to support this enterprising and talented couple, and their team.

Visited this cafe and were sat upstairs in a very cold unheated room. Blankets provided on chairs. We were told someone would come up and take our order but after 15 minutes no one came. After asking again order was eventually taken for 2 Chicken and Veg Soups, 1 Panini and 3 Coffees. Waited another 15 minutes for coffees. Asked about the food and was told It was on its way. At least 10 minutes later the food finally arrived. Soup was basically clear water & shredded cabbage, no sign of any chicken. Bill was nearly £30, extortionate for what we had. Will not be returning here and would not recommend to anyone.

Lovely staff & great coffee but the winner today was the avocado, mushrooms & cheese on sourdough. It was lovely. I wish I’d taken a photo! Served with rocket side salad. The chef came to talk to us and said that there are 5 different types of mushrooms in the dish. I love this place and although it can be slightly chilly upstairs they do provide blankets on every chair (choose a table near a radiator!). Would love it if they provided larger coffees. The vegan menu is a welcome addition. Take cash if you visit as they seem to have problems with their card machine on occasion.

I have been going to this cafe for a while now, and it's a favourite of mine! The service is excellent and the waiters/waitresses are very friendly. There is a range of cakes, lunches, brunches, breakfasts and beverages, all for reasonable prices. The cafe itself is in a nice location, and is decorated relatively well, with dogs allowed downstairs. I have been there for lunch multiple times, but was slightly disappointed by the poor quality bread. That, however, was a one-off, and the quality is usually very good. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe.

I visited today with family and although I’d visited before for drinks it was my first time having lunch. It didn’t disappoint, the menu was great lots of choice and particularly good if you are vegan. I had the sourdough with mushroom and avacado and it was yummy! The cappuccinos were delicious and we finished off with a really tasty slice of cake - perfect! It was extremely busy but the staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating as we had my 4 month old niece in tow with pram! Thank you for a really lovely afternoon - I can’t wait to visit again!

I have Coeliac Disease and need a gluten free diet. There were several options for me as they had gluten free bread. I had the cauliflower and stilton soup with bread and butter. The soup was exceptional. The other three had the special which was a chicken pie, chips peas and gravy. They were all happy with this with the pie and gravy getting mentioned several times. There was a good selection of cake I had the elderflower and lemon cake and this was great. All the puds and drinks went down well. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I have been coming here regularly on a Saturday afternoon with my children. Each and every visit we have been warmly welcomed by the staff. We have eaten a range of meals and snacks from their standard and vegan meals. All have been above excellent quality and quantity in the dishes. Salad with a topper of grilled crispy chicken was absolutely outstanding in texture and taste, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Price in accordance with the standard of food, very reasonable in my mind. Situated in the heart of town, where you can litterly watch the world go by for an hour or so. Definitely our favourite place to come. We will surely be attending weekly for the foreseeable future. Thank you cafe of the square for your wonderful menu and atmosphere.

We stopped in for a light snack this week. My wife ordered beans on toast, especially as the menu stated it would be served with 'thick, hand-cut' bread. She was very disappointed to be given a bowl of lukewarm beans and one piece of medium-sliced toast, which appeared to be from a pre-cut sliced loaf. When commenting to the waitress, my wife said it wasn't a complaint, just an observation. The waitress became very defensive, and told my wife that if she wanted thick bread, she should ask for it next time we come in, even though the menu said 'thick, hand-cut'. My wife also queried the 'hand-cut' description, whereupon the waitress said the cook has a very sharp knife, and if my wife wanted to see the loaf, she would bring it out. We found the waitress to be uninterested in our comments. Needless to say, there won't be a next time.

A very friendly staffed cafe serving delicious inexpensive home made food. Highly recommend the sausage roll!

Quite regular visitors to the cafe - whether for a quick coffee or a sandwich. The food is always good, and we have always been made to feel welcome.the location is great - especially on a sunny day when you can sit and watch life on the Sandbach cobbles :-)

First time visiting will not be the last! Lovely atmosphere, warm and welcoming. All the staff friendly. Had a lovely home cooked lunch. Fish and Chips the best ever according to my hubby. Will definitely return in the future.

Great food! Nice beer. Hope that it continues and becomes as popular as the Leppard.

Always a delight to have breakfast here. Proper full breakfast cooked and served to perfection by Holly and Gemma. There's nothing here to complain about at all. Always a warm welcome, and just a pleasure to make time here for a proper breakfast. What more can I say?

We used to regularly walk to Miola for a coffee and can’t believe how it has changed. Outside is a complete dump with tatty pieces of furniture up for sale at ridiculous prices . The elephant and giraffe which have been there for years are still for sale at a ridiculous price. Toilet was filthy with no toilet paper. Chose to sit outside as had children with us and tables were tatty and dirty. The food was overpriced and mediocre. Bacon sandwich with virtually no bacon. Peanut butter on toast which was slimy and greasy. Children took one look and didn’t touch it and can’t say I blamed them. It is so sad as Miola used to be such a lovely place to go to. Can only assume that with Holmes Chapel closing its on the cards that Sandbach will close as well. So disappointing and what a waste of money !
