Situated on the top floor of the book store, the cafe is nice. Ambience good. Feels relaxed and you are allowed to stay for up to 2 hours if you wanted to. Coffee and chai latte good. The toilets are awful though. Not cleaned often and quite smelly. So avoid them.

This Cafe is one of my favorites in the city. It has a lovely atmosphere, very spacious and a great rooftop view of Soho. I work here often and enjoy the vibe, the great food and the staff are fantastic. If you are in the city and needing a good place to take a break, this would be a great reccomendation.

Situado en la última planta de una librería con multitud de libros, está cafetería nos ofrece un lugar tranquilo para descansar, tomarnos un café y pasarnos por el servicio si es menester.

The food was overpriced and not warmed properly (I say warmed because it was pre-cooked and placed on a panini press). Freshly squeezed lemonade was just lemons squeezed into water. Paying the prices that we did for it, I'd have expected something more. Ok for a coffee and some cake, but I'd eat elsewhere if you have to eat around here.

We were going to a play (Come From Away) across the street at Phoenix Theatre (see that!) and had a little time to spare. You need WAY more than a little time at Foyle's bookstore. So instead of chasing aimlessly around the shop, we went to the fifth floor and had delish coffee and an excellent oatmeal sesame flapjack in the nice sunny space that is the cafe. Tables are family-style in the main, so you might make friends, though most people seemed engrossed in their laptops or books. Get a table before you order - you might not find a seat.

There are plenty of better value less crowded and less noisy places nearby. Maybe it is because it is located in a book shop but some of the customers look as though they have been there all day nursing one cup of coffee and occupying a whole table.

Love books and love coffee! What can be better than this? A cafe situated inside a bookshop just in central London, dreams come true sometimes! While I was looking for a book and finally found it and paid for it I've decided to go to the cafe upstairs and have a nice coffee while reading my book! The staff was attentive and really nice, I've been served from a guy called Alex that i can presume is one of the manager, well Alex well done! You are working hard for what you want in life! You've been great even if it was for a couples of minute, this is what I call customer service!

The food is good but not cheap. Plenty of seating but other diners often spread themselves out. It is not unknown for someone to purchase a coffee and then sit at a table for a couple of hours, taking up most of the space. A confident manner is sometimes required in order to find a place to eat. Notwithstanding other diners, a nice atmosphere.,

If you don't mind sharing , and the notices on the tables encourage it, then this cafe is for you. As a substitute for central London dining, it attracts an eclectic crowd, so the cafe is busy all day. It serves good coffee and tea, and the food choices are wide, with a strong vegetarian bias. The cakes are great. Down side? Finding a seat. Phone/laptop charging is discouraged, but I saw people doing this nevertheless.

If you love book and nice coffee this is the place for you! I love Foyles and I go there as often as I can. I would go buy a book and go for a coffee. The mix of coffees smell and new book is just a delight for me! I love this place!!!

Coffee and cake. The late was very good. The walnut cake was dense and flavorless. Refectory seating. Ok to linger. It is a good place to pause while shopping at Foyles. No reason otherwise to go there.

So, find some good books downstairs, then go upstairs for a coffee and a cake. This coffee joint has got a good vibe and it's a bit fashionable, without getting pricey. Finding a spare table and chairs can be a tough task at peak times, but the site and atmosphere are worth it.

After trying to find some books, myself and my partner went for a coffee and a cake in a very nice coffee shop in foyles now coffee and cake were exceptional, but the space a little crowded, the real down point and why I gave this only two points was the toilets were absolutely disgusting let's not go into details but let's just say avoid at all costs.

This famous book store now has modern premises in 107 Charing Cross Road. It is a delight to wander around the galleries of the 5 floors looking at books, old and new, together with a great music/CD/DVD area. The top floor has a moderate sized cafe serving good snacks and meals with a very nice selection of teas. The shop has free WiFi and many take advantage of this whilst eating and taking tea. A great place to visit and spend some valuable browsing time.

Back in school we were never allowed to eat in the library for fear of getting our mucky mitts all over the books, thus causing out librarian to have a heart attack. So to find a cafe in a bookshop was a bonus for me.And it's a lovely cafe too! Friendly staff, great food (try the carrot cake- if it were a woman I'd take it out for dinner and drinks and then make love to it! It's that good) and reasonably priced for a central London eatery. It gets busy but the more the merrier I say, share a table with a stranger and strike up a conversation.

Used to be an atmospheric and buzzing venue with good fresh food, unfortunately the new cafe has less atmosphere than a chain, hard chairs, bright lights, a bit like a hospital cafe. The tea could have been hotter and the cakes were stale. Such a pity. It is still in a wonderful bookshop.

The two staff on Sunday were so miserable, no eye contact, no pleasantries, just rude. They clearly hate the public and it's damaging to the brand and such a lovely space on Strand.
