It was a good place to meet up with friends, but currently closed.

Great tasting food, good portion sizes for the lunch deal and the croissants are superb!

Service was awful because the tall white employee intentionally ignored us many times.. won’t come again.

Amazing place, best coffee in London!

Pretty good. Atmosphere is fine, food was good (greens in my chicken salad seemed to be a bit fade thats why 4*) and my partner’s salad was excelent, especially smoked salmon - a true delight! Ginger lemonade was so tasty and homemade (no sugar!). I’m satisfied.

The Service was brilliant with Hasib as our server.

I when out with my friends this Sunday to Mayfair brunch, the lady who was serving us was super friendly and smiley even though she was all alone. Great job girl just keep up the good work and I hope you will find some great people like you to work with.

Every year I come here I remove one star ...6 years ago and before, food was great and service quality was excellent. Today the food is still ok but the service is a big mess. Slow, you feel that the team is lost , yesterday I was served by the most grumpy young lady in the UK. Too bad, such a nice place.

Amazing service especially from the lady named Roxana who seems very happy and welcoming towards customers. I will make sure to come back for more exquisite delicacies soon:)

At 6:30pm on a Saturday yesterday, the lady at the counter was SCREAMING to the customers, “Takeaway only! No sitting inside! Don’t sit outside! Kitchen is closed!” She was screaming not only to us, but also a group behind us & a couple behind them. On google, it said that they closed at 7:30pm on Saturday. Le Pain need to get their act together with their customer service!

J’ai pris un bon petit déjeuner au pain quotidien qui est mon spot préféré pour un déjeuner à la française. Je voudrais souligner que le sourire est en option apparement dans ce restaurant, c’est dommage, même si le personnel est professionnel. J’ai du demandé de la confiture alors que ça devrait normalement venir avec le reste du petit déjeuner, il faudrait y penser et je trouve que la quantité de pain laisse à désirer car j’ai l’habitude de prendre ce même repas dans diverses « Le pain quotidien » et ils servent bien plus de pain que cela… Il y a donc des points à améliorer.

Fabulous restaurant at a fabulous location! Just a minute away from Oxford Street, a great place to rest and eat. The staff is kind and very attentive. The food and drink were lovely!

The tart was a bit old and dry, the coffee was ok

Terrible. Scrabbled eggs on rye with a side of avacado. Rye toast was like eating a rock. Avacado was not ripe. Eggs were ok. Service was slow. For the price, I would expect better presented food, decent coffee and being a bakery…. Decent bread. Tourist trap.

I don't have food but a cooffand mint tea. Waitress forgot us, so I had to go back and remind them. Coffee with a shot of caramel was nice. It is a nice cafe but staff are very slow.

Good morning. This comment will be written as a Courrier expierence. As soon as I arrived I was told my order was comming. I asked twice after over waiting 8 - 10min. Then, manager asked the membef of staff what she needs to make the order... Do not tell riders the order is comming if it is not even being preapered. Instead say the real time it will take so riders decide if they stay or not. Moreover, another rider will come and pick it up. Thank you for your time to read it.

The way the opening hours are treated is weird. On google maps it says they close at 19:00. Apparently they close at 18:00 and in the last 30 min they don't serve anyone because they have to clean. We arrived at 17:03 and "the kitchen was closed" so we ended up taking a cappuccino. I really don't understand how they handle their ope ing hours.

I had the vegetarian brunch with scrambled eggs and pain au chocolate. The eggs were perfect and everything else was prepared to perfection. Much more food than I expected, to be honest. Great service from Rose!

Same as other reviews, drinks orders sitting on bar for ages. We asked for drinks in first order and never came. Re ordered and was sat on bar for minimum 15 mins. Waiters not that polite, talking to each other whilst taking my order. When coming to take payment, we were told they are closing soon so we need to pay. When I paid no thank you or have a good day. Just walked off. Service needs to be improved. Drinks were nice when finally came.

The waitress was rude, he let us wait for too long just to take our order, he told me " wait a minute" several times but he completely ignored me, and then I decided to not order from the table, he saw me walking out, without apologising, a very horrible experience. I would never recommend a restaurant, that doesn't have a welcoming staff.

Good food & coffee. A bit pricey.

We were sat down and we’re left by staff, we waited 45 minutes and wasn’t served, we were then told that we would have to wait a long time for food which was understandable but the waiter was extremely rude saying he can’t do anything about the wait time and I said it wasn’t about the wait time but we were never served and weren’t told about the wait time prior to being sat down and served nearly 10 other people who were behind us in the queue

Looked good at first, placed our order then nothing after 15 mins ore drinks arrived, staff were just milling around ignoring peoples orders building up on the bar. We never received our food and left. Will.not go back.

Had a very tasty enjoyable lunch yesterday. Good quality food, lovely soup, great tartines and excellent staff. Impressed by our waiter Matteo who was helpful, pleasant and efficient.

Had a fantastic breakfast here while visiting London. Order the baked eggs and they were fantastic. Filling enough for a full morning of walking and site seeing but not too heavy. Friendly and welcoming servers. Enjoyed so much that we went back again.

We visited the restaurant with our friend when sightseeing the city last Saturday. We were disappointed by one of Waitress service who instead of serving dishes on a table thrown them. Food was ok, although not fresh. Coffee was strange as it was mainly milky taste. When observing staff members I could see they were overworked ... however nothing is going to explain the waitress behaviour

Tea and very tasty croissants. The seller served us free of charge with 2 kinds of jam.

I ordered "Le Pain Quotidien Breakfast" and asked to swap boiled egg with scrambled egg and they mentioned they can't and that to do that they need to call the head of the chain 😂😂😂😂 Note: it does say, "swap boiled egg for scrambled" in other breakfast options. When I kindly asked that they check if it is possible, the waitress laughed at me. I don't know if the policies of this said chain breakfast place are just ridiculous or the waitress is just unhelpful. Definitely not worth it.

My husband and I went for tea, we found the place cozy and pleasant, but the staff was pretty grumpy and rude. The waitress didn’t offer us a table, wherever I would point, she would say not there, not there, we couldn’t understand why we weren’t welcome to come in? 🤷🏻‍♀️ There were plenty of tables available. Anyway, at the end, we got to sit down and order some food and a pair of coffees. We waited for quite a long time for the order, but the whole situation was confusing as I thought the staff wanted to go home and that was the reason to be waitress didn’t want us to eat in. Without asking, when we finished, the waitress came to remove the dishes in such a rude manner. We felt like that the staff wanted to get rid of us from the coffee shop as soon as possible Therefore certainly not a pleasant experience.

Amazing experience in Le Pain Quotidien Mayfair, lovely staff, good atmosphere and the food is great. Special thanks to our wonderful host Adelina who was very professional and competent. Not to forget about Rose and Marie who were very kind and delivered a good service. 👍

Went with m&d for pre birthday trip out to London. In a street with plentiful choice we stuck with a familiar name in a nice setting. After moving from the mid-restaurant table we were initially offered, to a window seat at the rear we perused a stacked menu. Lots of choice and I wavered between brunch and scrambled eggs, settling for the eggs with salmon and a 500ml carafe of ginger lemonade. My wife and daughter plumped for brunch and BLT in a bun, both of which pleased them. Alas my (generous portion, it must be said) eggs were luke warm and my carafe turned out to be a standard glass, falling short of the promised 500ml. I pointed this out and was supplemented with another glass and told they had no carafes. Which does beg the question, why advertise the carafe option in the first place? The salmon also fell short of the 'fresh Wye' being a bit rubbery and some hard and gristly pieces hidden under the top slices. All in all not a personally pleasing experience but wife and daughter were happy and the service was faultless and the surroundings very relaxing.

My husband and I came to dine in for lunch. We had a lovely time. The service was excellent,the staff were very attentive and Rachid the manager was very friendly and recommended such delicious food. We will definitely be coming back some time soon.

Food is ok. Service is horrible. The attitude, half of the time the staff does not even talk to you. Yes it is a chain restaurant and is on par with US Panera Bread. I’ve watched 3 tables return food. Another 2 complain about the staff. The food is microwaved. So don’t expect much.

Very cute place! I am travelling so I wanted a magical experience in tiny little bottle of london and so far the experience was amazing. The barist Jes (the name was so cute I can't forget) she was so polite and warm and I love it the coffe she do it for me. I certanily will recommend for all my friends around the world

Since my last review was removed I'm assuming due to some choice words I'll re submit this, food terrible, staff terrible overall bad experience, would sooner eat out of a bin than this place again.

From the moment we went in we were made to feel unwelcome . We immediately realised we had made the wrong choice . We didn’t even get a chance to try any of the bakery food as we were abruptly told pastries were only for takeout despite us being seated by a waitress and given a menu. The pretentious atmosphere ruins what could be a nice place to stop by on a break to London .

The waitress had a terrible attitude problem from the moment that we asked for a seat. She then refused to serve us service items that were available behind the desk. Apparently, these items were only available for us to go. Terrible, dreadful atmosphere. Staff might have a stick up their backside. Save yourself the money and go support a business that deserves it.

Absolutely terrible horrifically rude staff. Waiters have no thank yous, you're welcome. They don't smile. They treat you terribly. They made my father who uses a walking stick stand for 5 minutes just looking at him whilst there were many seats empty. I will be escalating this to the central office. Learn some manners. I'd fire everyone.

Lovely place, freshly cooked bakery and other breakfast dishes. Bad service, nobody smile or greet when entered and seated. Staff through the plates while passing by the table not even asking to whom was for..!!

Having been to a few other Le Pain Quotidian branches previously, I have to say this one was by far the most negative experience I've ever had. First of all I was ignored when I walked in. When they finally did ask about my order, they were rude and abrupt. The food and coffee were not on the same level as other branches. Highly disappointed!

I came in today and got a take out for breakfast the black female waitress was very polite and helpful. She made sure I knew what I wanted and went the extra mile to make my morning a great one. She’s a credit to this Company.

Great place, amazing coffe and food,

Great place for a nice chill breakfast/lunch. Staff is always very friendly and the food and pastries are fantastic. And of course the bread is excellent!

I am hoping this is the one i went to but went to one of your restaurant with my boyfriend (pretty sure it's this one) and wanted to grab some kind of granola pot and to eat in, the woman behind the till told us that the granola pot was only for takeaway and that they were "doing things properly here" my partner had struggle understanding was she was saying as i am guessing she was French with a thick accent (I am French too) and because my bf didn't quite understand what she was saying, she started shouting and being quite rude and rolling her eyes, i was going to grab a croissant and a tea but i gave up when i saw that awful service. You need a good clean up of your staff or teach them proper customer service skills. Also, if you're vegan dont bother, all they had on display was an extremely overpriced super dry croissant.

Terrible customer service from my waitress especially, very rude with a terrible attitude, just enquiring about the menu to her was met with a hostile ‘I cant be asked’ tone. But the issue wasn’t just with her but other members also had a similar tone, which indicates this poor customer service seems to be a cultural issue in the store. If you have managers who do not value proper customer service, how can those who are hired? Checked here at google reviews to see if others had the same experience and it only confirms it as so. PR manager seems to acknowledge the issue with a copy and paste message yet nothing seems to have changed. Until the issues have been resolved, I recommend going to another branch with staff who actually care. I have had good service from le pain Q from around the world, Argentina, Chile, America. It’s very sad to therefore see the brand tarnished here at home in London.

Lovely, spacious restaurant with delicious, fresh meals. We had both breakfast and dinner here and were equally impressed with the food as the excellent service. The yogurt with granola and berries was perfect and would have been sufficient for breakfast but had to try the bread basket - yum. The salmon nicoise salad we gave a 10 out of 10.

Looking for a quick bite, waited a little , whilst servers just hung about, eventually shown table, food just poor looking , and was probably worst croque monsuer I've had also £46 seems bit steep for what we were served, I don't mind paying for decent food and cheek of service charge when she done nothing, not even a smile , hence I think I will spend my money elsewhere

Went for takeout coffee. I usually get an Americano, but the large board says Long Black only. Asked for a Long Black and the staff reply, “You mean an Americano.” Whatever. Anyway, watched them make it and it was a Long Black. Drowned in hot water, tasteless and must be very old stale beans. Avoid.

Consistently good coffee, and the free alternative milk choices are a positive move towards the future. The staff are warm and friendly, even when the place is busy - which is often!
