Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster

I've come here a couple of times. Very good place to eat and drink. My soya chai latte was amazing. My sister had orange juice there.

Nice, somewhat older, a bit more rustic café. There is enough space and you don't feel cramped. The coffee on offer is comparatively good. It seems to be a very popular place to work and hold short meetings. However, it is a mystery to me why in this central location, in the middle of the city (where you should expect fibre optics) the quality of the internet offered is still like from the last century (> 2Mbps download speed, 0.5 Mbps upload speed). Internet is virtually non-existent.

I am one of the people who like Nero in London Even with so many options

I really like these cafes. The coffee is very good, the Service is always friendly and the locals are very handsome!!

First time coming to this Nero and I ordered my usual iced latte with alt milk and a syrup, and the man working today made it to perfection. There's a nice, calm atmosphere to this place with friendly staff.

Nice shop, good view, but not always good quality service. I got a very tiny babychino here(double checked the size with that young lady), however we usually get a general size babychino from other Nero shops.

Nice, cosy and well kept. In the centre of London and convenient. The gentleman who served me offered me a couple extra options I have never been offered before for the limited edition Iced Velvet Americano. His name is Phani. 10/10 would recommend

A good visit to this place. The service was excellent. I don't remember the name of the lady that served us but service was efficient and with a smile. The coffee and cakes we ordered were great. I would suggest however that facilities and cleaned more often. The toilets were not in a good state. But when only one staff member is working from what we could see then this is understandable.

Why one continues to go back to a coffee chain which once had product consistency and standards, was mostly clean and had knowledgeable polite staff, therefore was mostly a great experience to be at is for me to question and change. However, once again, an Iced Cappuccino which looked like a milkshake, with just one trainee and one non trainee to serve a long queue in one of their busiest locations. Hygiene at lowest (you ask for the correct straw instead of a milkshake straw and you get their fingers all over the tip…and should I mention the state of the girl’s shoes and yes, shoes are part of hygiene too). Lastly, cleanliness and dirty tables “a norm these days” so we typically clean it ourselves now. All at not exactly a reasonable price! Two items - a coffee and something to eat at nearly £10 these days. Rubbish…simply.

Be aware we go for less than 1 hours a guy still the bag from the chair we ask to see the cctv and the camera … manager in Holliday Than we can’t see the video with the police it the person with the code was not back … they say for policy of company. … than we need waiting 1 week to see who was the person … no words

Went here today with my friend and It was a horrible experience. Customer service was disgraceful and non existent. Ordered a blueberry mousse cake and got given the thinnest and wonkiest dried up slice that tasted so stale and dry and not like a mousse cake at all. I was expecting a better slice for the price I paid, like the one on display, but I had been deluded. I had proceeded to ask if I can get another slice similar to the one on display but I was told no in a rude manner. I don’t know the names of the people who served me but it was a south Asian woman and south Asian man so please try and investigate and maybe hire better people because your customers are not happy.

I stayed near this specific Caffe Nero on Bedford St and went there every morning for coffee when I was in London. The staff was amazing - they were friendly and fast. My latte was always delicious and prepared quickly, but with care. It is very clean inside and the atmosphere made it nice to sit and just enjoy my latte before getting started with my day. This is an excellent location with great coffee and great service!

Zaneb (similar sounding name) was excellent. I had a silly order from work colleagues and it was very busy- she was polite and accurate and it was no bother for her and the order was perfect. Great service and attitude from her so I hope she gets some reward for her hard work !

We got our coffees and sat down. They asked us to leave after 10 minutes, saying that it was closing time (they did not warn us about the time at the entrance, and there was no information in the area indicating the closing time). We wanted to use the toilet before leaving, but they did not allow us to do so.

Dated chain cafe with aging damaged funiture and is oftern dirty.

Simply great - atmosphere like in the 30s, if Al Capone had come in I wouldn't have been surprised.

I asked for a coffee to drink inside but they gave it to me in a takeaway glass. Isn't it supposed that if I'm paying more they should provide me with a proper cup? Then I realized that everyone who was having a drink was with paper cups. Maybe they wanted to save the time of washing the cups, this is not good for the environment 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠. Apart from the fact that it is a scam because they charge you more!! The bathroom was disgusting! 🫠🥲

Quiet, relaxed and no pressure to rush off as soon as you've finished your coffee. Lovely place to shelter from the weather for an hour. Nice coffee too.

Never had coffee as the cafe was so dirty. The seating available was ripped up dirty sofa chairs. Could not make myself sit on them, so walked out to a lovely clean cafe across the road.

It's cafe Nero, which I usually like. However... I ordered my coffee and cake, and was surprised that a tray was set out on the counter, and a disposable cup along with a large cardboard open box with the cake in. What a waste!!!!! And I really don't want to sit in a cafe with "take away" containers. I wouldnt go back to that particular cafe

Alles in Allem abgerockt. Das Mobiliar hat schon wesentlich bessere Zeiten gesehen. Tische waren nicht abgewischt und entsprechend ekelig. Auf dem Fußboden lag Papier und allerlei anderes Zeug. War nicht toll.

Part of a national chain. It has the best tasting coffee vs Costa and Starbucks. This store has a wide variety of seating and it gets pretty busy as it has a nice atmosphere from the large windows. Just around the corner from Charing Cross and Covent Garden. I’ve seen others comment regarding using disposable cups and packaging for dine-in. This is normal if it is busy or near closing. Staff have to concentrate on making drinks. Service ok. Toilet hit and miss… normal for London. Collect loyalty stamps!

Quick queue time and good service. Lots of options for lunch, snacks and drinks. This is quite a large Nero with lots of seats which was also a bonus so we decided to eat in. The tables were not cleared from previous customers which would have made the experience a little better. Would visit again.

There were tables left unclean even though the customers had clearly left. The toilets were absolutely despicable, it makes me concerned about the overall hygiene and how much care goes into it. Even the soup pump was dismantled and just sitting on the sink. There was only one restroom.

Absolutely SHOCKING and DISGUSTING experience where I was discriminated. Firstly: toilets are absolutely filthy Secondly: the service is extremely slow Thirdly: my hot chocolate was literally just hot water Unfortunately I was mocked at the till. Whilst I ordered my hot chocolate and cake, I thought my contactless payment via my phone had been approved. The cashier informed me that it hadn’t and so I kindly asked to try again. It didn’t work and so I fished out my bank card. Whilst I was getting my card out, a member of the public in the queue started laughing whilst mentioning that ‘her contactless ain’t working’. Surprisingly enough to me, the cashier then started huffing in response, started tapping the card machine and kept saying my payment didn’t go through. I told her I was getting my card out. I made the payment. The cashier gave me the slice of cake for takeaway with no bag. So as you’d do.. I kindly requested a bag. The same member of public huffed ‘for F sake’ in response. The cashier literally flung the bag at me and rolled her eyes. Never have I had some terrible customer service where the cashier was only EMPOWERING ABUSE from another customer.

Seriously worrying when the 2 customers ahead of me had to query their bill. On both occasions the server had double charged for one of the items requested. I expect much more honesty from Cafe Nero staff and hope that the franchise will take appropriate action to ensure that customers here are not ripped off by greedy staff.

Toilets are beyond filthy. Ever wondered where flies go during the winter? Wonder no more, it's here. Dickensian sanitary conditions. And the "specials" like the pistachio iced coffee end up with zero similarity to the advertised photo, and tasted just like cold coffee.

I had an outstanding service by morgan, the manager of the store was super friendly. I would defenetly recommend the morning atmosphere to a friend as its just perfect to get some work done.

The pictures with the cups and plates is fake. You get everything served in take-away paper cups and boxes. I asked politely why don't I get served in normal porcelain cups and plates or what do I have to say to get them. The answer was that they don't serve in normal ones although they have them there. The cakes were bearable, the coffee as well. The Service very disorganized with serving and sharing information (I asked if the shop is self-service based and they said no, someone will come to your table-never came-i had to get up and go to them after 20 minutes). Your toilets are close to the ones from "Trainspotting"... Very bad system and mentality..

never again The Personal was unfriendly and I order a Tea and they Wouldn't give a cup cause they don't want to. The Toilets are discusting. Toiletpaper down and the Walls has holes. The Cafe is Messy and there laying cups and others at all

Cafe Nero always my choice of coffee when out and about. Staff in Lakeside are very helpful.

I visited on 29 December at 12:10 and there were around 15 people ahead of me in the queue. Each person seemed to be buying 2-4 drinks each. I only wanted to pay for a bag of coffee but after queuing for 15 minutes I was forced to abandon the purchase. Service is way too slow so I went elsewhere.

One of the better Caffe Nero's. All you would expect and near to Covent Garden. Down side, only one toilet.

Thursday evening there was only two Batista's I waited in the queue more than 15 min it was awful because only one of them taking orders and preparing. The other person was washing the dishes. Christmas time it's really weird that there is only 2 people working in busy place like this in covent garden. its because probably bad management.

Drinks (coffee and hot chocolate) were delicious, but the sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the bar (and its toilets) is poor and leaves much to be desired.

One of the most unique and beautiful Nero shops I have ever visited. Both decor and location speaks for them selfs.

I've been in this big corner Caffe Nero branch a good few times but not recently, I must admit...what with Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns, we haven't been into London for a few years. This Caffe Nero branch is a good staging point for Covent Garden and The London Transport Museum and we enjoyed an almond croissant and an Americano with cold milk each and sat talking and people-watching whilst we enjoyed a break. Service...good and swift. Coffee and food great. A definite 5-star visit.....

We were there Wednesday and the person who took our order was nice and the carrot cake was tasty. the café was really cozy but the toilet wasn't good.

As ever with cafe nero, the interior is always pleasant and the coffee good.
