Rather disappointing. Expensive food but limited accompaniments. Duck pate, served with watercress and melba toast was nice but expensive (£8-£9 from recollection). For main, I had the seabass fillet with 'salad' and chips. Chips were served in sharing bowls and the salad was watercress. No other sides, so to be delivered a skinny piece of fish with cress and to have to share chips was a shame, considering the cost (£16.50).Dessert was sticky toffee pudding which had been microwaved, sticky toffee sauce slopped up the side of the dish and congealed and again, no accompaniment to make it less stodgy (£9.50) I have genuinely had better in my local pub.

Visited on 9/1/24 13.15 hrs. Been several times and it was my wife’s b/day. Food and service very good. Virtually every diner was, like us, OAPS. People entered, took coats off and most of them put them back on straight away because the place was so cold. 3 large ceiling fans going full blast made things worse, I mentioned it to staff who turned 2 off but it made little difference. They apologised and said it was like this for some time and they couldn’t improve it.As people finished eating they left straight away not , I feel, because they wanted to but because they had to to get warm in their cars. Owner needs to address this problem or risk losing the grey brigade.I will return again but will test the temperature before I sit and will walk out if it’s still the same.

That you choose your main from the counter is excellent. This is backed up by staff that know their produce are super friendly and provide great service.

What a jewel of the Welsh countryside!! Fabulous selection of fresh fish and meat that is cooked fresh for you. The wine selection looked impressive too!! The price of an evening of good dining, lovely service and company of the service/bar manager Steve is well worth it. Everyone needs to try this dining experience

Quite expensive and, sadly, their almost famous chips aren't anything like they used to be. More a place for fish and meat eaters. Whatever you do, do not try and veg curry, which seems to be simply heated from the tin. The wife loves the fish. One of the few remaining restaurants left in the area where the food is well cooked.

Lovely family get together. Bar area really nice and relaxing. You choose your food ie fish etc before sitting down in the restaurant. The restaurant is slightly dated but nice and clean. The staff were really lovely and very attentive and it was easy for parking.

Had a lovely surprise family meal at Ceasars, food was spot on, service excellent and atmosphere (on a Friday evening) was just great. Still a top quality restaurant, with good food, good wine and good service. Never had a bad meal here!

Went for a 60th birthday. The food was excellent and the service amazing. At no point did we feel we were left to our own devices, even though there were 15 of us.

Good service, but everything we wanted was sold out! Also not sure where they get their steaks from but when I asked if they are aged they didn’t have a answer and the steak wasn’t great and had no flavour (also quite dry)

As always, Caesars Arms delivered! The roast dinners were an absolute treat and the beef was cooked to everyone's preference. The steak was beautifully cooked as it always is. This is a great restaurant. The food is amazing and enjoyable. The food was of good quality. The gougon starter was nice and the portion size was really good. Had the Barbados curry for main which was really enjoyable. Did not have desert as was full with just 2 courses. The staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive. Went there to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. The atmosphere was excellent with so many other visitors also celebrating a special occasion. The service was excellent and the staff so very welcoming and friendly. The food was first class. My only criticism is the portion size for the money you pay was rather small. I had the duck costing £20 and to accompany the main dish a very small dish of chips. For my starter I had the prawn cocktail costing £9 which was delicious but everywhere else I have ever had it served is accompanied by some pieces of bread but there wasn't any. As I was driving I had a pint of Soda water with blackcurrent and was charged £3.50 which I thought was excessive. Overall we all had a lovely night and would highly recommend this place to celebrate a special occasion.

Haven't been here for quite a few years. It hasn't changed much. I had the salmon pate which was quite nice. My Venison was a little overcooked and the sauce was very bland. My Mum's Hake cutlet was delicious. Our desserts weren't anything special. The serving staff were lovely but we would have liked a little more time between courses.
