Absolutely lovely setting in the more peaceful end of the GY seafront, adjacent to the stunning Boating Lake and Waterways. Efficient and pleasant service from the owner and the lovely waiting staff. Food was delicious. 6 of us had a range of items from the menu including bagels, salad, full English, waffles, breakfast sandwich and it was all absolutely lovely. Really fresh and clearly good quality ingredients. Excellent value for the price (e.g £7.50ish for full English). Lovely cup of tea (in fact I had 2 as it was heaven drinking tea right next to the sea). Serves beers which my husband enjoyed! Plus lots of other lovely drinks/ smoothies. The owner had a lovely chat with us and a giggle with my son. All in all 10/10, relaxing, welcoming, clean and excellent produce! We will certainly be back 🙂.

The Bagels did it for me, haven’t had one for years! Smoked Salmon with Cream cheese, my partner had Halloumi & Avocado. Perfectly presented along with lovely coleslaw and salad. Had espresso and Chocolate brownie to finish. Great value for quality food. Lovely ambiance and sea view along with friendly staff. I rarely review but this was exceptional. Close to Venetian waterways.

Great food and drinks served by friendly staff. A small quirky, cosy cabin, with about 6 tables inside but many more tables and chairs outside where you can look out over North Denes beach. Views are wonderful. Dog friendly and are welcomed inside and out. Serving Toasties, breakfasts, teas and speciality coffees.

Perhaps it was the 7000+ steps I walked (winterton + beach +waterways) before 10am. Or the 14 Full English breakfasts they had to make (my man was...busy) before they got round to my sausage bloomer. But goddam, it was worth the wait. My wife's BLT was just as good. Quite frankly the best sausage sandwich I've had in my life. I'll say that again Quite frankly the best sausage sandwich I've had in my life. Sad flex, I know, but you were not there but you should be. Support local business - our original plan was to get a corporate breakfast (maccy sh*t) but am so glad we visited the shack. Two fun sized thumbs up from me. We will be back.

Found this fabulous little beachside cafe whilst on a day visit to Great Yarmouth. I had a bacon, brie & cranberry toastie which was delicious. My partner had a bowl of Carrot & corriander with a small cheese toastie on the side & marked it 10/10. The 2 girls running it were v pleasant & chatty which added to our pitstop today. Will definately be returning again.👍

Had the morning in Great Yarmouth. We had parked our car near the Venetian waters and after a walk around that we then thought we would grab a bite before setting off and this place was there and so we tried it as it sounded good. And it was. I had the Tuna and the girls the triple cheese and the toasted sandwich was fine. My wife says the bread was grilled with butter on both sides which gave it a nice colour and taste. The tuna had a nice tang to it. The girls loved the triple cheese and it was my daughter's first time having a toasted cheese sandwich out and she loved it; nice and gooey. The sandwich came with a really nice coleslaw also. All in all a great sandwich and we was gutted when we popped back on Thursday, as it was closed😭

Difficult choices on the menu, we ended up selecting the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and the maple syrup and bacon waffles. Really well presented, fresh ingredients and filling portions. Coffee and smoothie were spot on. They moved the table around the cabin to keep us out of the strong wind. Really happy we decided to try this place out

Popped in again today. Carrot and coriander soup! 2 Dirty dogs, no, not the ladies that I went there with, but a delicious looking (and tasting, because I pinched a bit from the wife's plate) sausage based toasted snack. Done just like an American style "Hot Dog" but with less Yankee doodle dandy, shouting and thinking that they are superior in every way. These were done properly, the English way, as a sandwich but containing the Yankee sauce mix of burger mustard and tomato ketchup. Fried in a pan style with beetroot slaw and green stuff, ( salad I think it's called) . Now, back to the important stuff. The drinks were up to the high standard I have come to expect from this lovely beach side snack cabin. Good coffee and a chocolaty hot chocolate, The better half went for a rum butter again, so predictable. Where was I, oh yeah, my soup. Well I drove 195 miles for the best Broccoli and Stilton soup I've ever had, and I do mean ever, but, and note to self here, phone ahead and check as it wasn't on the menu today. I nearly cried, grown man that I am, nearly reduced to child like sobbing with disappointment. OK, I'll try the carrot and coriander, which I knew wasn't going to be a patch on the expected perfection that I craved. WRONG, bloody lovely and again plenty of it to satisfy one's soupish requirements. Now I have an issue with choice upon my next visit, do I call ahead and hope for Stilton and drive there anyway because the carrot is so nice, or do I just call in and take what's on offer? I'm an old man, this decision making is taxing and causes me to mutter uncontrollably out loud. In turn causing the better half to have to interject words of wisdom, and boy has she got a few of them to spare. So, I'll do the following. No phone call, just call in, sit down, shut up and get what's given. It'll be bloody lovely whatever they choose for me. Keep it up ladies, you are the best along the coastline. See you soon. X

Popped in and had a delicious slice of apple pie and a flapjack. I got a hot chocolate which with the cream and marshmallows was a work of art. Not only did it look amazing but it tasted just as divine. Comfy benches and cool decor. Lovely, friendly staff were delightful. Will definitely be heading back in the summer when we return to see the Venetian Waterways in full bloom.

Been dog walking at this end of Great Yarmouth many times but never been to The Cabin before. Was a lovely sunny morning (albeit a bit breezy) but found a wind free sheltered spot outside in the sun and couldn't believe the menu choice. Excellent range of options at reasonable prices. I had an extremely tasty sausage sandwich which was perched between slices of what can only be described as a cross between toast and fried bread - fabulous! My wife had the bacon equivalent which was very lean and just how she likes it. Also the Mocha I had was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely now our No.1 cafe stop when we are in GY. The proprietor was lovely too and was very friendly to our dog, Murphy, who she treated to some titbits. All in all a fabulous experience in a great location. Highly recommend a visit.

Such a lovely feel to The Cabin. I’ve been here several times and always have thoroughly enjoyed! Such good iced coffees and smoothies. Also the toasties are unmatched. The Brie and bacon or the Ruben packed with salt beef and sauerkraut are both so tasty. Will definitely be back! Also easy to park right outside which is ideal.

While out for a walk with the dog, we were discussing what our perfect breakfast would be. I said a cheese toastie, my husband a veggie full brekkie. On our way back, the first place we came to was the cabin - the stars aligned as I had the best cheese toastie ever, while hubster had the veggie breakfast. A cold, frosty morning so we also ordered fabulous coffees, sat outside and watched the frost slowly thawing over the dunes. Brilliant value, great for people watching, awesome service - just perfect.

Visited for a meal on East Anglian Derby Final night. We were put in a hospitality box downstairs but had the same service/menu as we would have had in the restaurant upstairs. The food quality was absolutely superb and the portion sizes were generous (I had previously felt they were a little sparce) Waitress service was good and the fact that we got our own drinks and had to go to the bar to place our bets was a plus rather than a negative particlarly as previous experiences were that the tote operator didn't always make it round everyone upstairs. Only negative is that starters/dessserts are not included in the price when you book. I appreciate it kept the price down to £25.99 but would rather have paid £35.99 and had a 3 course meal. Surely it would be more profitable for the stadium as well? After all, it was sold out.
