The Butty Hut in Wyre

Been today whilst on our travels. Good service, value and choice.There's off road parking and you can get your hair cut while you wait :)

Called in on way to fishing what value for money There is a gazebo outside if you wish to wait there for your food. The lady behind the counter was very friendly but is not the police so cannot therefore force people to wear a mask. Has the lady in the last review tried to cook in a mask (in restaurants the chefs do not wear one). She cannot be responsible for other peoples actions. well worth a visit but expect good portions.

To be honest the butties BUT I am amazed at how little the people of Preston and areas around care about the COVID regulations, no masks being worn in the shops we have been going in and it’s no wonder to me Lancashire is going into lockdown and frankly we won’t be going in here again until they change their attitude to Covid. As I was waiting for a Buttie In my mask when a man came in and stood almost touching me, do I need a mask he asked the lady owner? Before I could answer yes step away from me she leant over and said “no love it’s ok we don’t care about that nonsense here”. I was amazed. I was equally amazed to listen to her telling the guy in great detail how she had been closed down for months, obviously claiming government money but had reopened and trade was now good. As Lancashire now is in crisis I’m sure she will be happy to take Gov money again should small businesses have to close but won’t realise that her attitude to distancing and not adhering to legal requirements will be part of the cause. Sad ☹️

This is just as the name says a Butty Hut,ideal for a road side snack parking can be difficult as you have to park on the road,but if you look around it is ample. The food is good and staff very helpful. Have been using for quite some time .

been a customer for over a year now and really enjoy my visits. I can highly recommend any and all the food hot or cold. my current favourite is sausage egg and mushroom with red sauce and pepper. Mandy the owner is great and really makes you feel welcome. loads of parking onsite and is right on Lancaster road behind the icecream parlour. see you next time mandy

Its not a restaurant, just a roadside butty shop, I ordered a cheese and tomato toastie and was served some strange slab of burnt cheese and onion between two slices of toast. I have never had a toastie like this before and never want one again.
