Tenía grandes expectativas con las críticas anteriores, pero estaba terriblemente decepcionado. Las comidas no tenían sabor, todo lo que podías probar era sal. El servicio fue horrible, de principio a fin. Tengo una intolerancia alimentaria y me quedé inseguro y confundido con la información que me dieron 3 servidores diferentes. Seguramente el chef y el personal deben saber lo que están sirviendo a sus clientes.

Food was lovely, we had the brunch stack, 2 burgers and the avocado flatbread. The staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed the whole experience.

This was such a lovely experience. The food was superb & the service was excellent. A special mention to the waitress Bailey who was super friendly & full of helpful advice.

Visité Brum el fin de semana y me dejé caer en la fábrica de botones según las críticas de Trip advisor. Es un gran lugar - Ambiente muy agradable, buena selección de bebidas y comida muy sabrosa. Los chicos allí eran muy amables y rápidamente se ocuparon de nuestro pedido. Éramos cuatro y elegimos escoger cada uno unos platos pequeños. delicioso... . . ¡Vale la pena visitarlo!

Lovely pub, good food and good service

Visited with work colleagues on 7/12/25, for a couple of drinks before moving on into town. A busy place with a good atmosphere, beers were good

Not the experience I hoped for, I ordered the shish of the week, well I've never been more disappointed, the flat bread lacked flavour, the shish of the week was pork, I know pork shoulder can be a bit fatty but cooked correctly the fat can enhance the flavour, but my meat was tough and grissly, also my side pickle consisted of the throw away pieces of gherkin, carrot and one piece of cabbage which were unpalatable, the best bit was the small side salad! Very dissapointing.

There for a work event, friendly bar staff drinks are good too about normal price you expect in the city nowadays. Food as really nic and the whole atmosphere was decent.

I don't know if the name is due to the fact that there used to be a button factory there, in any case it is one of the best breweries I visited while there. It has a lounge on the top floor with a terrace where all the smokers hang out.

Great little place. Only a five minute taxi ride to Birmingham City Centre if you want a quiet drink or food before a night out. We went for food before a night at the theatre. Easy to get to and from. Good selection of food. Helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend and would definitely visit again!

Fui al bar, pedí comida y bebidas y me pidieron que pagara. Cuando me senté, cuestioné el total y volví al bar para que me dijeran que había un cargo por servicio del 10 % tanto en la comida como en el alcohol. ME HABÍAN COBRADO UN CARGO POR SERVICIO ANTES DE CUALQUIER SERVICIO. Esto es totalmente incorrecto que no se le diga que hay un cargo por servicio antes de pagar y que se le cobre antes de cualquier servicio. El 10 % en alcohol también es una desgracia. Vergüenza como comida y alcohol era bueno.

We had our staff summer party at The Button Factory on Friday. Due to an error at our end the booking wasn't quite as it should have been. We were really impressed with how Ella sorted that our for us. The food was fantastic, the bar staff were amazing and the night was a huge success. Thank you, Button Factory, we'll be back!

recently attended a company event at a fantastic pub in the heart of Birmingham, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. The venue is spread over two floors, and we had the entire top floor to ourselves, complete with an amazing private roof terrace that offered great views and a perfect space to unwind. The atmosphere was vibrant, thanks to the live DJ who kept the energy up throughout the evening. The food was excellent, with a variety of options that catered to everyone's tastes. But the highlight of the night had to be the cocktails—absolutely delicious! If you're a fan of a little kick, I highly recommend trying the jalapeño and pineapple margarita; it’s a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy. Overall, it's an ideal spot for events or just a night out with friends. Great ambiance, fantastic drinks, and a rooftop terrace that’s hard to beat!

Went for a few drinks on a weekend. The place was not too busy, staff were friendly and quick. Best Bloody Mary I’ve had in years!

First and last time here. What a shame the management have got such a bad attitude, no wonder it was so quiet in a Saturday night. I suggest you treat customers as you would expect to be treated yourself if you expect to maintain any sort of customer base.

Good place to have fun, sometimes there is no service on first floor so you need to down stairs to order every time you want to eat or drink.

Didn't order food so can't comment. Was my first time- group meet up. But not happy having to go downstairs to buy drinks at the bar and then walk up some awkward steps. They had a bar upstairs but were not using and not helping getting drinks upstairs for customers. Atmosphere was brilliant. No option of Mocktails.

Good roof terrace and lots of outdoor space. Always chilled vibes and a relaxing atmosphere. It is card only.

Great bar and really good atmosphere. Drinks are very reasonably priced also. They have a massive screen out back where they have been playing the euro 2024 games. Awsome venue.

Very nice venue with varied spaces, so you can find somewhere to suit. Good outdoor areas, best in the city. Drinks seems expensive and no bitter, so seems it's fizzy, weak lager for all!

Went to The Button Factory with friends for a Sunday lunch. Staff were very polite when we entered and seated us straight away. The waiter who brought over our drinks dropped the tray which had a pint of lemonade on it - this splashed over one of our party's jacket, hair and face. Mistakes happen and the waiter was very apologetic, replaced the drink and gave my friend some tissue to dry her jacket. In the main, the food was very nice, and the pork was delicious, however a couple of us found the gravy a little salty. Two of us had finished our meals and one person was still eating when one of the waiters started clearing plates - this is something that really frustrates me, plates shouldn't be cleared until everybody in the party is finished. When the bill arrived, the lemonade had been taken off but a service charge had been added to the bill, which I thought was a bit thoughtless considering earlier events. Overall, the food was nice but I wouldn't rush to return.

After a sales meeting nearby - booked the VIP euros dinner. Great atmosphere, great food. Even though England didn't win a great night was had by all. Only negative was wooden benches a bit uncomfortable.

I attended a second anniversary get together of the volunteers group. Excellent venue, atmospher, good food, attentive friendly service. Enjoyable evening. Highly recommende the venue for family/corporate functions.

I wasn't happy...I was given something extra that I didn't order and was still charged for it. I complained and no luck!! The meal was already included with fries and gave extra. I ended up paying £10 more than I should.

Gratuity is added to the bill before service. Ordered at the bar, waited an hour before seeing another person get served to ask for an update, after another 10 minutes a manager came to tell us "there is an issue with the tickets not being printed" and was told we would be served as soon as they could. Seemed off as no other tables had this issue and previous reviews mention staff not passing on orders to the kitchen. Decided to ask for a refund instead and was offered a free drink as compensation. Would agree with others that the music is too loud outside.

Card only. Any business that doesn’t take cash is not a business that deserves mine. Nice beer garden to be fair but no cash no custom.

I'll start with a positive. They have wonderfully thick durable napkins, loved them. The starter of calamari was okay. The rest from there is downhill. The customer service was poor as you could see they were understaffed but the attitude of the waitress was far from desirable.we waited 25 minutes for our drinks orders to arrived after being reassured several time they were arriving even though we offered to collect from the bar ourselves. Both the food and the drinks are very overpriced especially as the steak and mac and cheese I ordered were some of the worst I have ever eaten. The bean suace/dressing was very bland and the steak was undercooked.When asked for garlic butter there were non available. When i offered my feedback to the waitress i was give a rude look. The atmosphere would have been bearable if the music was not too loud to relax. Maybe we had visited at the wrong time, but I definitely would not recommend for a nice relaxing sit down meal. Sadly I do think I will return again.

I think it is a bar that everyone who loves whiskey should see. It's pretty impressive that it offers so many options. A tasting is available for every whiskey you want to try. Each staff member was very experienced and kind. Thank you for this experience

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Button Factory, and it was a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience memorable. The ambiance was delightful, setting the perfect mood for a special occasion.

Absolutely delicious food which arrived quickly. Ella was great! Just need to practice making a perfect French 75! Would definitely recommend

Might be my third or fourth lunch. Good location. Balcony is great. Food is good. I'd recommend.

Went there for a few beers with friends The staff was friendly and they had a good selection of beers.

We have just eaten Sunday lunch at the button Factory. The staff were good and so was the atmosphere. The food was very very very poor. SUNDAY LUNCH £16 plus £7.25 for Cauliflower Cheese? So the food sat on the pass from plating starting, to be removed to be given to us for over 9 mins. The plate was cold. The Yorkshire puddings were fridge cold. The meat was small and fatty although tender. The gravy had not been stirred and was weak with clumps of gravy granules visible, and is tasted salty. The veg had been sat so long it had started to wilt and again was cold. The extra portion of cauliflower cheese looked like it had been made a week ago and was so dry, it basically had about 3mm of sauce in the bottom. Any grandmother would have chocked at calling this cauliflower cheese! The plus was the dish it was served in was so hot, although this did help to dry the micron thick cheese sauce even more. We sent it back and it was replaced with no fuss. The front of house staff were great. We were told they had new staff in the kitchen? My advice, get rid. Unfortunately, this the worst Sunday lunch I have had in the last 10 - 15 years. The bill came with £1 charity donation. The only bit I didn't feel aggrieved by. Would have been better to to have £70 charity donation and £1 to the kitchen. We went to Tesco to buy something, as all still felt hungry. Eaten here before and really enjoyed it. Please change the kitchen staff who cooked our meal, or at least install a little amount of pride in what they send out? Not an experience I will repeat for food. Bar and waiting staff were great.

Amazing wine knowledge and recommendations from our server Ellis! Standard and presentation of the food was excellent and I’d say unmatched by surrounding casual dining options. The GM Matt made us extremely welcome and walked us through the menu resulting in some top picks, great experience 10/10!

Went here for mother’s day and had the special Mother’s Day menu. From start to finish we were greeted with smile manners and people that actually care about the guests. The food was the best by far and £25 per head for 2 course was exceptional value for money. I’d like the all staff for making the Mother’s Day extra special. Thank you

First & last visit to the button factory on Saturday 9th March 2024! I placed an order for food with my friend and asked could the meals be brought out together. I was advised, quite possibly, as order placed straight after my friend. Her order was delivered, mine wasn't. I enquired where it was and was told it with be with me shortly. After 10 minutes, I enquired again. Turns out the waitress had took the order and not sent it to the chef! Nearly 30 minutes extra wait from when my friend got her food. I was drinking Bulmer original cider. When my husband went up to get a round, she said no yellow bottle left, do you want red (fruit cider) he said no. After a while she offered to go down the stairs to the bar to see if they had any original cider there, they did. Next time he went to the bar, exactly thr same situation. She didn't have a clue! I would of hoped she would have the sense to have a few bottles brought up. It was an absolute joke.

Frequent visitor. Lovely venue, and a really good atmosphere and vibe. However, bar staff close the venue up to an hour early every single occasion without fail. We have been rushed out by staff multiple times, who want to either go home early or to get the cleaning done to leave dead on when close. I understand this is common for bars/pubs when it’s not as busy during the week but this is a bit of an extreme. Despite this really cool spot

We ordered the hummous, squid padron peppers, buttermilk chicken and fries. The food and service were great. Everything was quick despite it being reasonably busy. Staff were friendly. Lighting was very cosy.

Love it here especially in the courtyard. Always a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The Kofta burger was amazing BUT £3 for a soda water with a dash of blackcurrant is a little steep considering other places don't charge at all! However it is dog friendly which makes up for it!

Went to a wedding celebration function. No cloakroom but there was plenty of space in the toilets for hooks; had to put coats on seats so took up space. No baby changing facilities, had to change on the toilet floor! Pretty poor show, otherwise a fantastic venue.

Went here for a bottomless brunch. From start to finish we had a fantastic time, staff super friendly and attentive with delicious food too. Our server Bronwyn was just outstanding, really knowledgeable, friendly, and just fantastic service. Button Factory is one of my favourite places in the JQ! Always has a good atmosphere, great bottomless brunches, roof terrace is a big positive and the staff are all attentive and personable!

Came here with colleagues from work as a social. We are all trainers in hospitality and we were greeted by a previous trainee who worked with us her name was Grace. We recieved fab service, food was fantastic and great atmosphere

Stumbling upon this dog-friendly pub was a pleasant surprise. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and attentive. While the menu was somewhat limited, the flatbreads we ordered were delicious. The ambiance was trendy and welcoming, although the loud music made conversation a bit challenging. Overall, a spacious and inviting spot with excellent service.

Had a Christmas meal here with the wife's work at £35 a head it was very disappointing. Food was served buffet style and to put it simply there just wasn't enough food for the size of the party we had and add insult to injury the pudding was equally as bad. Miniature Christmas puddings cut into quarters. Most if not all left hungry and disappointed

My college and I organised a x-mass meal for 67ppl this December. The venue was amazing. Deco is great - red brick wall, with industrial fittings, but cosy at the same time. We were seating on the top floor of the restaurant, which meant that we had the whole room for ourselves without other guests, who were enjoying their meals on the ground floor and, we didn't have to paying extra for the the room to be exclusive to us. Restaurant was very accommodating especially Matt and Olivia in terms of last minute changes, and dietary requirements. Great communication over the emails and phone to make the final arrangements. Very friendly staff, made as all feel very welcome, nothing was a problem for them. Quick service, delicious food. Will definitely be back next year for a festive celebration.

Good food and service. Not cheap, but that is true of most of the Jewellery Quarter.

The only reason I downgraded the atmosphere is because we were initially sat in front of the kitchen, too close to the frying area which meant, I got splattered with hot oil on my back. It didn't cause injury but health and safety clearly wasn't risk assessed sufficiently when spacing tables and kitchen. I asked to be moved and they have. I hope they review their seating and kitchen work area.

It was only for lunch so not a true reflection on the atmosphere. Very good food and service and a nice venue.

Went on a Wednesday at 3pm and was not busy. The decor is nice and lovely and there are plenty of comfy tables to sit at. We ordered at the bar and staff are accomodating with food mods. The food itself is good and nicely presented. Staff are welcoming and checking back on your table to see if your happy with your food. I just wish they had more chicken and fish options on the menu but overall very nice and pleasant experience.
