Great view and ordered The Hangover with OJ Hangover looked great - pretty as a picture but wasnt sure if the accompanying leaves were edible - I think they should tell you but I resisted eating them! It was all very tasty - OJ was a bit disappointing and could have been freshly squeezed - not much for an orange juicer! Also there was no espresso which would have gone down well - need to get a machine guys! Waitress said I could have bought one next door but there was a very long queue! Shame! So £22 for breakfast with 2 waters and an OJ - weeellll just about okay!

I asked for 1 sausage sandwich and 1 bacon and egg and 2 (£24.50) the sausage sandwich came with mustard and seeds none off which did I ask for or was I asked. I don’t like mustard or seeds, it was not nice at all. There was nothing to show us how it came.

Overhyped! It's rated so highly on here so we booked for a birthday. Looking forwsrd to sitting on the bus we booked inside well in advance but on the day we were given the worst table outside. It had just been raining but we wernt even offered a table under the covers. Politely explained we booked inside but was coldly told 'it's closed'... no explanation given. Just a half hearted wipe down of our sodden benches and table that didn't really work. Food was so expensive for what it is - one crumpet with either one slice of halloumi or some measly bacon lardons and garnish. Frozen hash browns with a dribble of sauce. I'm confused why this cost as much as it does. Juices aren't fresh, milk for coffee separated and split. Don't bother is my advice, there's plenty nicer places nearby! No idea how this place is rated so highly.

A novel experience having brunch on a double decker bus. The kids loved it. The weather wasn't great today so also good to be sat inside and look out towards the beach/sea from the top of the bus. Great choice of breakfasts and good value. Will return when we go back to Margate in the summer.

Not our first visit to the Bus Cafe, nor will it be our last. Our chosen spot for breakfast on our North Kent Coast bike ride (Day 2). Excellent food - reassuringly expensive, great service from genuinely pleasant staff. Sat inside, upstairs, to get out of the wind and enjoy the views. "The Hangover" breakfast really is first-class. The wife thoroughly enjoyed her smoked salmon crumpet slider. A pot of builders tea to wash it down - lovely! Looking forward to our next visit.

Myself and my husband went for breakfast here when we were on our holiday down to Margate, we both had the hangover breakfast, which was really tasty, a change from your usual standard breakfast which made it quite unique. Only downside was that we paid an extra £2 for hash browns and were shocked to see that they only give you 2. Apart from that I can highly recommend a visit here.

I have wanted to try this venue for ages as having read about its Ethos, of local sourcing of ingredients, it intrigued me and I do love ethical and quirky and as it was my birthday weekend and Husband had sorted Dinners and activities, I decided that I would arrange this. I booked online and when we arrived the lady that greeted us was friendly and welcoming. We were shown upstairs and although there were several tables free we were shown to the Front of the bus and a small wooden counter top style arrangement which was our apparently our table. My husband is 6ft and there was very little leg room even I at 5ft 2ins had to sit sideways as at knee level there was an obstruction to my sitting comfortably. I was surprised that we were not offered another table as other diners that took those tables did not arrive for 45 mins or so. I did not want to start my birthday weekend off my having a negative experience which would have caused an argument between my husband and I as he only agreed to come to humour me as it was my choice of what he calls typical of me and "Quirky Arty Farty". Having said all that the Coffee was ok, a little disappointing I thought, it smelled great but was quite weak, I had read how good it was and perhaps expected more. Husband had the Hangover Breakfast and I had the Sourdough Sausage sandwich. They mistakenly brought me the wrong thing to begin with so both husband and I ate our breakfasts seperately. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast which I think surprised him, his one quibble was that the GF sausage was a bit tasteless. My sausage sandwich was good the sauce on the Sausages made a difference for me, but unfortunately I felt I was rushing it a bit because my husband had almost finished his breakfast by the time I got mine. Generally speaking the food was very good, Quirky it is and a good view, However, if I had known where we would be seated and how uncomfortable it would be I would not have booked. Also it is worth noting there is no toilet available, you have to walk to the Train station crossing a main road or sneak into a local pub or hotel, which is not ideal. To summarise: Food Good, lots of options and it is a really Quirky venue with a great view, but for the reasons above I would not go again.

The breakfast menu is all cooked food as far as we could tell (no cereals/pastries). We had the Mumbled Eggs and The Veggie. No idea why they’re called mumbled eggs. They looked just like poached eggs, but in any event they were delicious and my egg yolks were the deepest yellow. The Veggie was tasty too with delicious mushrooms. Service was friendly and prompt. The upstairs dining area is very compact as you might imagine on a bus, so there needs to be some elbow etiquette for four adults in one booth! I believe there is outdoor seating on warmer days. Great stop for breakfast. We’re visiting Kent for the first time from our home in Foodie Bristol. So far, apart from the sea food, we’ve found the area lift on artisan type stuff like bread. In Bristol, we’re spoiled for choice and we’re looking for a breakfast that wasn’t a full English. Found the bus cafe in here and came at 10am for opening. Parked in an all day £9 multi storey just across the road. We have a dog with us and although dogs are allowed in the outside seating, was good to know she’s out of the sun and in a safe car park which we can return to often.

I’ve sent these guys an insta for their broccoli slaw recipe (hopefully I’ll get a reply soon). My wife asked me the best thing about our 3 days in Margate and I said without a doubt it was my wrap with these guys. Incredible. GO!

We have walked past this cafe a number of times in the past and it has always looked busy - today was no exception with half an hour queue for a table but they kept telling us we hadn’t been forgotten. It was worth the wait - absolutely delicious food with familiar flavours presented in a different way including breakfast “mounds” with yummy crispy potato rosti’s. Friendly staff too which makes such a difference. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Margate.

Read the many reviews on the breakfasts at the red bus and loved the look of the location whilst riding past one day, that I thought got to try this place with my family.

Now normally a sausage sandwich is fairly basic. Sausage, bread of some sort and often nothing else. Not here though!!! Sliced sausages between two slices of thick cut toasted sourdough bread covered with greens and toasted pine nuts. Really delicious and creative sandwich which tasted great. A quirky setting with friendly staff and all cooked fresh. Loved it and so pleased I stopped here.

If you are visiting Margate skip your hotel breakfast and come to seafront below train station for an alfresco modern take on the full English, plus veggie options. Ate there twice this weekend, loved it.

Title says it all, the best breakfast I've had, so good we went twice in our short weekend break. Ate inside the bus and outside on a hot day, all the staff were super friendly too. Thank you!

Felicity’s Cafe at Quex in Birchington is an absolute gem. Picture this—you roll up to this quaint little spot, and from the second you walk in, it’s got that vibe. Friendly, warm, like you’re part of the family. We’re talking fresh, local ingredients that just hit differently. The coffee? Smooth. The cakes? Sweet but not too sweet. Service? Spot on. The folks here treat you right, not in some fake, scripted way. You can tell they care, like they want every dish to be a hit, and let me tell you—it is. You want cozy, comfort, and quality all wrapped up in one? Felicity’s Cafe nails it.

My friend and I went here for the first time on a weekday lunchtime and found seating downstairs. As all busy upstairs and we didn’t want to sit outside or in the covered walkway to the cinema area. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and coffee. I had prawn and avocado sandwich on brown bread with salad and Kent Crisps my friend had smoked Salmon and cream cheese bagel that also came with salad and crisps. The cakes looked very nice but we were a bit full to try them probably will in our next visit. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back!
