Lovely setting, with great views and the seating area outside is beautiful. The cafe was quite busy and the lady serving was run off her feet, taking orders and waitressing. She was just about keeping up. The cake display was fab. I have gone for three stars only though, because on arrival there was no gluten free bread available. The lady in the kitchen said she’d not managed to get any on her way in. Appreciate this is a small business but for us that is a deal breaker as it meant one of us couldn’t eat. All that was available GF was a packet of crisps. If there had even been one cake that would have been great. It would be great if more places realised that GF is not always a choice but a medical need for some. The food passing by looked great but we didn’t partake. Hopefully if we stop by again we will have better luck as the cafe is lovely. Not keen on paper cups and plates only either. Not a good eco policy. Will bring own cup next time.

Really nice, but very small. Be nice to go back in the summer when the outside can be utilised. Inside is very cute and the cakes selections brilliant! So much choice of snacks and drinks for such a small place. I really want to go back and try one of the pizzas they cook in the outside pizza oven. Seems they do these on set dates. Three of us went today and we all had different things. I had luxury hot chocolate and creme egg brownie, my partner had brownie and tea, her mum had a ham and cheese toastie, which comes with coleslaw and salad and a coffee. No complaints from any of us. Staff were sooo friendly too!! I recommend, just not if you’re going on a cold day or got a need for bigger spaces.

My friend and I have just had a lovely lunch at Burstead farm shop cafe. Mushrooms and poached egg on chunky bread toast. Just what is needed on a grey day in November. The choice of different teas was good and the Victoria sponge to follow was excellent. Very friendly and although it was a small cafe I would definitely recommend it.

One of our students had told us about this unique place and we finally made it earlier this month. We were impressed that the coffee area and restaurant area were separate, although side by side. Lovely comfy chairs within a relaxing area were ideal to enjoy my fresh and tasty cake complimented by smooth and fulsome black Americanos. We will definitely be back.

Lovely to children, friendly staff, we enjoyed the walk through the woods to the farm shop and turned it into an adventure...Great Service, lovely tea-cakes and cookies. Well worth a visit, toys for children to play with at the side. Some seats inside, but we enjoyed sitting outside on the benches. Menu is a little bit for every-one and the food is very good. Very clean. If you like polite staff, who interact with the customers, a friendly place, well worth a visit. A lovely little Cafe overall! hopefully over time they may let you extend.
