Henry looked after us tonight! He couldn’t be more friendly and helpful! Couldn’t be happier with the service we received, definitely returning! Food was delicious & cocktails too!

What a lovely place! decore is great! Staff were friendly and helpful! Food was amazing the yakitori sticks were amazing, chicken wasnt dry at all! would come back here 100%. Only problem was it was far too hot! was no window open or some air-con on.

We actually drive out of our way to come here after trips to the Peak District. It easily adds an hour to our journey. No regrets! Their pizzas are amazing. And the staff are always so nice.

Been here a few times over the years for special occasions but tonight's visit was pretty poor. I don't know anyone that likes to have bright purple spotlights in their faces whilst they eat, but that's what happened to us and our table felt like it had been plonked under that pink tree without a thought to the people that had to sit and eat there. The cocktails were good but there's far too much ice, I get cocktails have a lot of ice but this was a ridiculous amount. My wife had a chicken burger and it was so burnt on one side and so so dry. Pizza was good but undercooked in the middle and the halloumi fries were terrible, cold, hard and who just plonks a small splodge of mayo and sirracha sauce on top of them rather than in a small container alongside them? Staff were very friendly and our server was great but he ran around like a headless chicken, rushing to and fro due to it being so busy. All in all slightly overpriced for the quality of food, hopefully it's a one off and it was just busy but it seemed to us like only slightly better chain pub food and that the owners had sacrificed quality over profit.

Elliot was a delightful host. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. Portions are large so come with a empty belly!

A great venue and location was very impressed when walking in great decor the food was very good and there was a good selection of beers as well. I would highly recommend visiting, the wood burning pizza was amazing. I love that we could just scan the barcode and order and pay for the food and then once we’ve eaten we can just leave as quick and easy the yakisoba noodles were very flavour some. Great selection of drinks beers and spirits.

We’ve been 4 times now and have never been let down; this is our favourite place to eat that exists! The cocktails are exceptional, atmosphere is great, waiters all have such a good energy & genuinely act like they love their jobs, and the food has never let us down. Kid friendly and the waiter even brought out a happy birthday slab with ice cream at no extra charge when he heard it was our father in law’s birthday. 10/10 overall. Really recommend this to everyone, can’t wait to come again in June!

What a great place to have a meal, food was amazing. Make sure to book as we went on a Wednesday evening and it was rammed.

The whole experience here was amazing. We ate in the evening in the Garden room and the entire place was full, but the service, and food quality was the best ever. Such an amazing place and one definitely to be repeated.

Booked for my boyfriend's birthday. Overall we had an enjoyable meal. We were showed to our table swiftly. The setting of the garden room is gorgeous- considering how busy it was and that we could only choose to book at 5 or gone 8 you'll need to reserve a table a while in advance to guarantee a specific time. Car park is reasonably large but not really enough for the size of the place and some spaces are tight. Positives: Food overall was very tasty. The portions were huge. My boyfriend is fussy about how steak is cooked and he was very pleased with his. My pizza was really tasty- the dessert gyoza were lovely. Service was pretty good - I asked if the cheese rind could be omitted from my pizza because I really don't like it and they were happy to do this. Drinks were mostly good especially the homemade lemonades. You could tell care and attention went into homemade food and drinks. Creative and varied menu choices. Pointers for improvement: We were brought a chicken bao bun to the table instead of the one we ordered, thankfully this was swiftly noticed and whisked away before we even had thought about cutting into it. The cauliflower bao was probably too overdone, the cauliflower had a burnt undertone to the flavour. The mini sticks they do as starters (we had halloumi and falafel) could do with more seasoning. The garlic served with my partner's steak needed more cooking as it was basically raw garlic. The mojito I had was mostly ice and I felt like I got only a few sips out of it before it was gone. Toilets are very cramped. Service slowed down a lot towards the end

One word I will choose : amazing! Amazing food and drinks and the amazing atmosphere and cozy location! If you add also the amazing friends you can have an wonderful time!

Everything today was brilliant. The staff and attention to detail was very good. And the food we had (table of 7) was magical. We ate in the garden room and it was truly brilliant with trees and lighting effects which made the atmosphere lovely. The way we went in was up approx 10 steps so not very easy if your mobility challenged.There may have been an easier way round the back but didn't see it whilst we were there. We will definitely travel again to eat here. Also it has a large carpark.

Lovely service - Tilly at the bar (great). Limited table service due to using app, no check back throughout meal... Food was AMAZING. Beef yakisoba was to die for as was Mac and cheese. 💜

Food amazing...soooo tasty...service by app 5 stars....service from staff lacking ...felt a bit like the self service checkout at Asda. Needed vinegar and ice but nobody checked. Lovely venue. Needs personal touch though....

Good food, good selection of food as well, with burgers, pizzas and vegetarian options, service is good and food arrived within a reasonable time. Plenty of drinks to choose from. There is a great beer garden to enjoy a well. Worth a visit.

I would give 5 stars, food was really good, as was everything else. Pizzas are great. The only reason for 4 stars is very limited gluten free choice. So makes very limited & if you don't like curry based food a no go.

Food was lovely, and very friendly staff! My only complaint is that our sides didn’t come out with our mains (pizzas) and we had already eaten half of them by the time they were finally brought out. The same thing happened a few months ago, but the staff blamed it on ordering through the app. This time we made sure we didn’t order through the app and the same thing happened!

Absolutely incredible place ! Great selection of meals, food was cooked to perfection and waitors were so attentive and service was excellent all night even though we were quite a large group of 10+ people. Decor and atmosphere was superb. Overall, the staff real helped make a special birthday to remember, would definitely come here again

First class friendly and fast service, amazing food and lovely atmosphere. The garden room is amazing and this place never disappoints.

We do enjoy visiting the Bulls Head and would always choose it as a venue for a special occasion. However, in this instance, it was very busy, and the service couldn't keep up with demand. Meals arrived before starter dishes were cleared away, and we waited a very long time for a bottle of wine, which in the end arrived just before the bill! Wouldn't stop me returning but a little disappointing this time around.

They don't accept cash payment. I used to enjoy the place but it went downhill rapidly since covid. They have an excellent drink selection but good luck getting the young sluggish staff members to serve you in under 20 mins. Hard to get staffs attention when having a meal, if you'd like additional drinks with the meal then again..Good luck flagging a staff member. And whatever you do.. don't sit in the pizza kiln area, me and my partner were boxed in like sardines and the matter was made worse by some local obnoxious entitled spoiled little sports academy toff ( chav with money) who sat with his chair about a meter away from his table and his legs splayed out , purposely making it 10 times worse for everyone else who was boxed in. Luckily for me I gathered my composure and left before I ended up dragging him to the kiln and sticking his head in it , not that the robo-staff would have even noticed. 🤖 BEEP BOP BOOP.

A first visit to this establishment and it won't be the last. Lovely place, great food (really enjoyed the pizza) and very friendly staff. A very big big and well deserved shout out to Phoebe, great front of house but a thumbs up to everyone. Thank you, hope to see you again soon. It's a shame we live over an hour away.

We had a lovely lunch here for my father in laws birthday. There is a great variety of food and drink and all very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back.

Best pizza.great menu.well worth a visit

Went here for an early dinner with my partner and 2 babies and it was a great experience. We booked the restaurant and there were steps leading to it. The staff were amazing and helped us with the pram. When we came in, all we can say is wow. It was beautifully decorated and the trees with blossoms adds a bit of charm to the restaurant. The food was also great and their cocktails. Overall experience was great! We highly recommend this place and we will surely dine in again 😊

I've heard really good reviews about this pub so thought I would try it myself. The entrance to the pub is beautiful and I love the old wooden beams. The bar staff were helpful and pointed out a spare table. We had to order at the bar or through the app at the table so there was sometimes a little wait at the bar (because my hubby is a fussy eater and likes to adapt the menu). I ordered fish and chips - they didn't disappoint, the chips and batter was amazing! The hubby ordered a trio of burgers which were really tasty too..definitely going to plan a trip back there

Been here a few times over the years and had many great meals but left a little disappointed this time, though there wasn't a lot wrong and the food was tasty enough and service OK. We visited on Valentine's night and the atmosphere was a bit drab, would have been nice to see some effort with decoration etc. The main menu hasn't changed for our last 4-5 visits, it would be great to see more creativity, seasonal specials etc but I ended eating the same food as I ordered last time. It can't be too hard to swap things around, different bao buns, yaki sticks, burger of the month, special steak sharer etc. Don't think we'll revisit in a hurry.

Staff very friendly and sociable ordered our drinks my daughter and granddaughter in law enjoyed some ( to me) overcomplicated cocktails, my first pint of Pedigree bitter er in 7 years was served flat, exchanged without any problem, but for another flat one😩Ordered garlic bread and a child's meal as appetizers no problems with either.Imhad main course fish and chips, curry sauce not available! as not on menu too me that's strange.Fish and chips were good quality but warm , not hot the mushy peas were cod and accompanied by something described as tartare sauce (but not by me) my daughter's pizza was good but probably too big for one person the granddaughters burger was a onstruction, far too complicated but more importantly serve after the pizza a and the chips warm not Hot Suggestion, all mains on a table should be served hot and at the same time. Would I come again? No, but at 72 years old I suspect I am not the target market😩

Our first visit here for a meal with friends & it certainly didn't disappoint Fabulous food, stunning setting & great service. Would highly recommend although booking is a must to avoid disappointment. Definitely worth the 45min -1 hours journey.

2 year anniversary date couldn't of gone better, brilliant restaurant lovely, amazing food and drinks ( deffo worth a visit for the cocktail menu - butter beer on point, can you ever have to much butter) food was amazing!!!! half and half pizza option for those undeceive. Everything about this place is great. The service was fantastic. The bar man was really chatty and knowledgeable. Recommended drinks and let us sample a few too. Good selection is good and the quality is excellent. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Perfect for a date night.

Fantastic place! Beautiful decoration from when you enter, right into the pub area (and the restaurant looks incredible too although we didn't eat in there). Low beam ceiling, fire place in the middle and a lovely feel to the whole place. The food was of a very high standard but reasonably priced and the service was very quick considering how busy they were. We ordered food and drinks using the QR code on the tables and the website it takes you to is fantastic and very easy to use! Staff were friendly and even though there was a problem with our child's meal they brought extra chips for free so she had something to eat while they rectified it. The nature of the building means there's very little space inside and as we were a group of 13 and a baby we had to book two separate tables. They accommodated by reserving the tables right by each other which was great. Unfortunately the walk way between the pizza serving area and the rest of the pub/restaurant ran through our two tables. This was very inconvenient for the staff and awkward for us too but the manager explained that this was the best they could do so we appreciated that. Overall an excellent experience, we will definitely visit again.

We hadn't been here for a while, but had a friend staying and wanted to visit. Wow, what a great setting / atmosphere and all of the Staff were so amazing, we had a great welcome and so helpful. We started by sharing some Bao Buns & Small Yakatori Sticks. Between us, we then had a couple of 'Open' Sandwiches ( Beef & Stilton + Beef with Peppercorn Sauce) and I had the Beef Stroganoff. Everything was delicious. Great choice of nice Real Ales. Our main Server (Niamh) was brilliant.

I had an exceptional dining experience at The Bulls Head in Repton. The setting and decor were simply stunning, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the evening truly enjoyable. The culinary highlights were the Barbados pizza and rib eye steak – both dishes were a symphony of flavors. The Barbados pizza was a delightful combination of succulent prawns and perfectly baked crust, while the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The Bulls Head at Repton exceeded my expectations, offering not only delectable cuisine but also a charming ambiance and outstanding service. A definite five-star gem!

We arranged lunch here with some friends as it was a halfway point between us. The 60 mile trip to get here was worth every minute! This pub is a gem! Atmosphere in the Garden Room is magical and very child friendly. The food was fantastic and the waiter was outstanding. Would highly recommend 👌

If you like eating out of a box or off a roof slate out off a plant pot having to eat off the paper menu due to no plate that's OK. I was brought up to eat off a plate.

OMG it was amazing!!! We were in the Garden Room which was gorgeous!! The food was out of this world, and the selection of wine and beers was great! Service was amazing too!!! Could not fault a thing! Would defo go back 😁😁😁

My first visit and was blown away by how beautiful the place was decorated and that was swiftly followed by the level of service and then the food. The place was packed and I know why! Would ver highly recommend.

Lovely setting and food nice overall. Unfortunately, table service was absolutely non existent. Too much reliance on the table app. Expect to wait at least an hour for food from ordering. No check back on table. Problems with orders not picked up. I was given the wrong yakitori. Food temperature was just about acceptable - one side of veg was cold.

Beautiful food and even better location and setting. Top notch service from Ryan & Jack for our Santa breakfast today, all the staff made it really special. We go regularly and absolutely love it here.

Went for a pre Xmas meal with the family... steak was served cold by the time the kitchen brought a fresh cooked warm steak everyone else had finished their meal resulting in the steak being taken home due to being full from the wait period of the new steak

I understand there’s an audience for tackiness so a lot of people like it here. If you can imagine what children would serve if they ran a pub, this is it. Sweets in your drinks, food served on anything but plates, pizzas, burgers, ice cream. My 10 year old nephew loved it. So it does have a place. If you’re a foodie or like good service forget about it. If you want junk food served in boxes or sweets in your blue drinks, go for it. Worth noting: If you’re a veggie the veggie burger is really bad, go for pizza. The tables and chairs are always dirty (seems to be getting worse). The service is hit and miss. Most visits you get food or cutlery dropped on you. The pizzas can be quite undercooked. I’ve been here a few times as my 10 year old nephew gets to have a sugary drink when he visits us.

Excellent gastro pub. Great for families as we had a group of 12. Reservations advised as it gets very busy.

We arranged a works dinner here and were very happy with the level of service and atmosphere. The cocktails are incredible, and the food tasted great. The only negative point was that the burgers did not look as impressive as the images displayed on the website... however, the flavour more than made up for this. I would certainly come back again.

Ordered a beef stroganoff and a Barbados pizza, the stroganoff had two small strips of beef and the pizza was supposed to have tiger prawns ,more like shrimps and only seven of them ,asked the manager for his opinion ,and to be fair he agreed it wasn't acceptable ,I wanted to speak to the chef ,but as you may guess he wouldn't come out ,the manager gave us a free pint and one dessert ( didn't want two) ,
