The Bull Motel in North Hertfordshire

We were going to a party nearby and opted to stay over at The Bull, for a Village Pub with rooms, it is very clean and comfortable with ample parking. The staff in the pub were warm and welcoming, the “on site chip shop” meant we could have a quick bite before heading to the party and they kindly ordered a cab and provided the number to contact for the cab back. Breakfast was very good and served with a smile. This is just what it says on the tin, with the addition of friendly staff.

La ubicación es muy buena para acceder a la zona, pero lamento decir que el alojamiento era un poco básico. De hecho me recuerda a algunos moteles menos deseables que he vivido en estados unidos, en la equidad en el pub/motel no decir que iban a través de un programa de reformas pero claramente no tenía llegar a mi habitación. El desayuno era excelente y el servicio es correcto para un pub del pueblo. Es un precio muy razonable para una estancia de una noche pero si vas asegúrate de conseguir una habitación reformada

No hay mucho ambiente en el restaurante y el servicio era muy lento para empezar, pero bien tarde menú es diferente que en su sitio web. Tempura langostinos frescos. Excelente Carne de pollo estaba bien pero en brocheta con parches negros en vez recargado y no cordero. Demasiado en ensalada.

Una estancia maravillosa en el corazón de Codicote. La comida era estupenda, un montón de bebidas del bar para elegir, personal amable, buena tv (cobertura brillante de deportes), la habitación también estaba bien presentado, con toallas limpias y té y café de cortesía. Recomiendo altamente alojarse aquí!!

Stayed at the bell motel as myself and my partner had got tickets to see Jim Davidson live at the arts theatre in Stevenage on the Sat night.so thought we would make a weekend of it.found the motel online it looked OK so we booked it to stay over on the Sat night after the show.it was a basic room but as it was October it was a bit chilly and the heating was just a wall heater which we had to switch on when we arrived.I would say the best bit of the stay was the breakfast on the Sunday morning.I thought the room was a bit overly priced.

Amazing food although a little pricey. Friendly staff but sometimes slow. Took one girl ten minutes to pour a glass of cola as is was 'really fizzy'. If you ask for a cola make sure you say from tap otherwise you get a can. Lovely garden/park round the back with slide and toys and a bouncy castle.

Stayed at this motel Friday 8th July 2016 after reading some 'horror Stories' regarding people's stay, to my surprise I found welcoming friendly staff. And the room was lovely and clean, fresh towels left out for us and tea coffee and biscuits :) lovely clean floors. Had a lovely sleep in the comfy bed and in the morning went into the restaurant which was nice for a full English breakfast. I will defiantly be returning there very soon. I was surprised when i pulled up as i was expecting a pub B&B style room, i was was greeted by small little shally style attached mini bungalow's, the room i had was very clean and tidy i shall admit the whole place could do with a make over and referb as it's looking tied the staff where fantastic and friendly they seem to cater for family's too as the was a small play area for them with a bouncy castle during the day and the food food menu was good well worth a stay if your looking for a good place to stay and eat

If you need a basic place to stay which is clean and value for money then this should be on your list. A good, honest motel which I'd stay at again. Wifi needs improvement though!

We stayed at the bell as a party of 4 adults and one child. This motel offers great value for money,and is in a very peaceful location a great getaway. The rooms are clean and a good size even with a travel cot.. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable and they could not have done any more for US. The breakfast was very enjoyable and cooked to order. We ate meals in the pub over the course of the weekend from the bar snacks to a delicious meat and cheese sharing board that was enough to have fed 3 to 4 people. As our stay ended we had the carvery which was excellent food and fantastic value for money. The staff were very kind and pleasant and put up the bouncy castle for the little one to play one and the children's play area was large and contained. We will defiantly be returning to the bell for another relaxing get away. Thanks to all that made our weekend very enjoyable

It is just hopeless, if you are looking for quality forget it.The pub was full of loud ignorant opiniopated unpleasant people.

Close to our event so a short drive after open air theatre at Shaws Corner. Good, clean spacious room with everything we needed. Staff helpful and efficient. We will certainly come here again.

20 of us went to the Bell Motel for lunch after a 6 mile ramble in the surrounding countryside. Although the dining area doesn't look that special, our visit was a great success. We did order our food before we set off on the ramble but even with this warning experience has shown us that not all restaurants can produce well prepared meals served on time. The Bell did just that, all of our group were served promptly and all agreed that the meals were delicious.
