Old style pub . Dont come here if you are looking for some fancy arse ponce pub . This is great but basic, full of character and characters , 50p pool table with good pool cues , duke box 5 plays for a pound , sports tv , proper locals , last time I was there a regular, came in and gave a bag full of very tasty cornish pasties and steak bakes away for free ,

Only go to this pub if you have no where else to go.The owner is rude and the whole place has a hostile environment. No card transactions under £5 and closest ATM is a good 5 minute walk up a steep hill which by then you are already by two other pubs. This pub does have a pool table which is a pro but that's about it.

More basic than decades ago, no real Ales, but you get what you pay for. Plenty of ciders though! Mmm.... bring back the smart lounge to the left of the front door proper carpets on all floors except bar area proper bar meals ( even though it's just " crisps and nuts" )as Kevin used to say. Good luck.

Very Liberal establishment. Loving ltgb vibe. We headed straight out to oldmarket after.

They have the best service and delicious food! The burger was incredible! Onion rings nice and crispy and the chicken juicy and tender! Service goes without saying, Steve was great! Highly recommend!

Omg!!! The food here is incredible. Me and my partner ordered build your burgers and wow!!! WE ARE BOTH SPEECHLESS!! Best burger ever!! We are definitely coming for food again. Thank you so much. And delivery driver, so so polite and lovely. Very friendly and professional. The service is 100%. I cant wait to recommend to family and friends.

Pretty basic boozer.plenty of outside space. It's an oasis along the river.dont let them all disappear.get in for a pint.

Well organised, post lockdown rules. One way in, one way out. Table service in compliance with C19 rules, but good, friendly service.
