The Bull Inn in South Holland

This place has now been closed for over two years! So not exactly worth a visit. lol For a beer try the pub over the road and for a meal try The Chestnuts at the other end of the village.

A summers afternoon so needed somewhere with beer garden so I could take dog with us for a beer. What a wonderful pint this pub keeps, cool dark and creamy and my wife loved the Aspinals lager too.

Have eaten hear a few times and always had really good food. The staff are very friendly and the service was really good.

Went there for the first time and found the welcome very cold. Ordered the meal and when it was ready we were shown into the restaurant. The food was a good size portion well cooked and at a very reasonable price. The sweets were equally as tasty and good value. The restaurant was very cosy clean and comfortable, and once in there the staff become friendlier. If the welcome had been friendlier a five star would have been given. We will return as it is all round excellent value with clean facilities.

Sunday lunch here is one of the best in the area, visit here with my family alot. Its just so disappointing the owners are leaving soon! Such a shame as the Sunday carvery is definitely one of the best in the area. Best wishes for the future!

Visited the Bull with our family and the food was fantastic, all home made and you can definitely tell. Lovely atmosphere and a very warm welcome, since our last visit the restaurant has been refurbished and moved to what used to be the bar area and is much bigger,very bright, warm and welcoming. After speaking to the landlady they are introducing a few new dishes to the menu in the new year, we will look forward to visiting again. I would highly recommend a visit.

Great Sunday lunch from a carvery with a large selection of vegetables. Very pleasant staff, would certainly visit again when in the area.

We popped in for lunch on Sunday and were greeted with a great carvery. There was a choice of beef, pork and ham (or any combination!) and all were delicious. The meat was accompanied by yorkshires, stuffing, roasties and an assortment of veg. The pub could do with a bit of a brighten up, but the welcome and the food were great.
