Ate at the Bull in a Saturday night with friends, all the dishes were presented beautifully and were delicious. Thoroughly recommend. The seabream with prawns and risotto was beautifully cooked. Will visit again

We went for a quick Friday night meal at the Bulls when visiting the town. Food was delicious, the chicken was great and the positions were very generous . We all enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended this restaurant.

We had our wedding celebration at The Bull back in December 2022. The lead up to the wedding was stressful enough but the staff were so accommodating and even gifted us the honeymoon suite for the wedding night free of charge. Upon arrival to the hotel after the church, we were greeted with a glass of champagne each and were announced into the room. We did not expect this and it was an amazing experience. The food was incredible and all intolerances were carefully catered for. The room was cleared and our items were all tidy and ready for us to clear the following morning. Could not recommend enough! We will be returning for our anniversary!

Food was delicious, steaks perfectly cooked and imaginative desserts. One of them felt slightly misnamed: strawberries with meringue when actually it was a big piece a meringue with a few strawberries. Staff were all very friendly but just a little slow at times: took a while to take our drinks order, didn’t bring any steak knives until we asked

Fairford looks like a nice little town but beware if you visit on a Wednesday as it's market day and parking is very difficult. It's a nice old building but our visit didn't start well as there was no tomato juice for my wife. My wife and our friends all had the fish and chips. Fish was pronounced OK but the chips were the usual bland beige tasteless variety. I had the sticky Korean barbecue pork with noodles. It's the sort of thing I cook a lot and I must say do it a darned sight better. The chicken was tender but the noodles and their sauce were far too salty, and I like salt, and sweet but certainly not "hot" as described. It was not nice and rather like a supermarket ready meal that you put in the microwave and then add too much soy sauce trying to get a bit of flavour into it. Only my wife and I went for a dessert - she had the pannacotta which was borderline OK and I had the mojito cheesecake which was awful - a crunchy semi-tasteless base with something green on it and then something cream on top of that, all nasty. On the side were some thick slices of banana for some reason. Service was fine, the espresso was a tepid teaspoonful. We won't be returning.

We are staying just one night in Fairford and were recommended The Bull for dinner. We both chose the chicken roulade with a side of garlic mushrooms. Absolutely delicious - a bit on the pricey side but nonetheless delicious. The desserts are worth a look too! Recommended.

Great food and an atmosphere to make every evening by the fire seem like a warm and exciting experience.. Great pub and dining to match the old Cotswold Hotel location.. A must stop on any trip to the country..

I haven’t been back the the Bull in the last year and following a pretty poor couple of experiences. On the current showing I’ll be leaving it for at least another year. It’s not terrible it is just not good enough for the market it should be attracting. Actually my dessert was terrible. One of those meals where the best bit is leaving.

It's always nice to recall good times, and this lunch fits nicely into that category. Quite simply, well cooked, well presented food served by friendly, attentive staff in warm, comfortable surroundings. No need to say more except that personally I would not have minded a bit more Xmas jollity but my fellow diners may not have thought the same.

We spent the weekend in Fairford, drinking in the bull one day and having a Sunday lunch and drinks the next. The food was delicious, the staff all friendly and the pub was gorgeous! Loved the time we spent there!

We stopped for lunch, finding The Bull by chance, we were really pleased we had. We had delicious sandwiches and the waiter was very helpful and friendly. Also immaculate toilets.

What a fantastic inn. Really beautifully decorated - lovely welcome and we were looked after really well. Our main courses were really lovely. The only reason it’s dropped a star is because of the bought in dessert. It was ok but I was expecting it to be home made. A shame. Wouldn’t stop me going back though. It was a lovely evening. My roast beef was a delight as were the accompanying veggies and a Yorkshire pudding. Gravy a triumph, as was a starter of salmon. My Lady started with the soup 🍜 and followed with the duck breasts both of which met with her approval. Our wine was good /very good that hint of gooseberry certainly does it for me. Thank you for a most enjoyable lunch. 👍

We had breakfast and dinner here. They kindly fitted us in for breakfast, even though we weren't residents. It was quite expensive but it was the only place in Fairford which appeared to do Sunday breakfast so we didn't mind. Lovely breakfast with full English...

The online booking was superb, even sending me a reminder and asking for confirmation that the booking was still in my diary the day before.It is an old building so the restaurant is in various rooms and sections but that makes it quieter and to us more pleasant.The menu was a good mix of lesser known dishes, a few standards and some seasonal specials. There should be eomething for everyone and we were pleased with the quality of the food and its presentation.The wines were interesting and it was very convenient to be able to get several of the wines in half litre carafes. The entry point house wines were both very acceptable.Service was good, under pressure a bit as the house was full to capacity so we had a minor slip but overall it was a dinner that made us want to go back there again.

My parents husband and myself all had an excellent meal. Baked pears with Parma ham, pork belly, roast rump of lamb and fillet steak. All beautifully prepared, looking lovely and smelling great. Attentive staff completed the evening. We shall be going back.

Earlier this month my wife and I returned to the Bull Hotel where we spent part of our honeymoon 25 years ago. From the outside very little had changed, but the hotel is now owned by the Barkby Group so we anticipated that some internal refurbishment may have taken place. Sadly, that was not the case and whilst the public areas are quite characterful, the bedrooms appear to be largely unchanged. As our stay was just two nights we had booked a small double, but it was really unsuitable as a double room with hardly any space, no wardrobe, no chest of drawers and a window with no view which barely opened. The weather was hot and we struggled to sleep as a consequence. At check-out we noticed that the room rate had been hiked to wipe out the saving we should have achieved as a result of the temporary VAT reduction. Like elsewhere in the Cotswolds, it appears that greedy owners are increasing prices and lining their pockets instead of using the VAT cut generate additional business. The one positive note was that most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, although it should be said that the Hotel Manager failed to speak to me on two occasions after requesting a conversation with her.

We arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen close, at 20:00 (still don't understand why in UK kitchens close so early.. but anyway!) but the staff was really nice and welcoming, despite the time.Social distancing was followed for the tables, but not really followed for the others as some people were stading at the bar to order their drinks and it looked like they were all too close to each other.The restaurant was really pretty and food was ok. My stuffed aubergine wasnt really stuffed (the rice was only put on top of it), but it tasted good, so not big deal.Overall:Decor *****Staff *****Food ***Price ***

Visited with friends for a quiet drink... £9.55 for a glass of wine which when delivered was warm and I had to ask for some Ice to make it drinkable. Very poor.

The service here has never been great, despite different owners, but it’s now just a shambles. Walked in and booked over a week before we were due to dine, informed email confirmation would be sent (despite chasing it never arrived).On arrival for lunch we were seated in the one place we had requested not to sit. This changed we were then ignored, other guests arriving after us had there orders taken and were served before us. Beer started to run out and so did some of the food, so we were faced with a rapidly shrinking menu. As for the food, overcooked beef and dry roast potatoes.Overall not a good experience, so we won’t be coming back.

Had a family birthday lunch at the weekend.Service was generally pretty good. The food was ok but nothing special and relatively expensive for what it was.The Beef chilli was sold on the menu as ‘chunky beef’ which made it sound like a nice slow roasted recipe. It was fine but was really a standard mince meat chilli. Kids pizzas were good - could have done with 1 for the 2 small kids (4&7) as they were adult sized. Chicken Milanese was slightly dry. Elton mess dessert was nice. Overall it was OK but I’d expect nicer given the dish price.

Visit this hotel quite often for coffee, at times resembles the Marie Celeste !! On our last visit this week on an extremely cold wet day , bar freezing none of the three fires were lit although staff were standing around doing absolutely nothing ! Nice that they encourage dogs but after seeing the filthy ness of the dog water bowl I would not let my dog drink from it , obviously hadn’t been cleaned for months I wouldn’t like to think what germs or bugs it contained.Such a shame as it used to be a warm welcoming establishment ! Gone down hill considerably!

No suelen optar por pausas breves, pero parecía atractivo y tenía un buen precio. Llegamos un poco temprano, pero nos llevaron a nuestra habitación ya que estaba lista, con vistas a la pequeña plaza del mercado que alberga un pequeño mercado los miércoles (no nos molestó en absoluto). Primeras impresiones: buena habitación decorada con una hermosa ducha, fabulosos artículos de tocador orgánicos y un acogedor asiento junto a la ventana desde donde se puede ver pasar el mundo. Mientras que el dormitorio había sido modernizado, conservaba su encanto del viejo mundo, y el bar y la zona de asientos eran igualmente acogedores, con un fuego rugiente. Tomamos unas copas aquí antes de la cena, encantador y muy relajado con muchos lugareños (agradable de ver) y luego nos ofrecieron el menú completo (la oferta incluía una cena de 2 platos). Los entrantes de pasteles de pescado sobre espinacas marchitas con un huevo escalfado y un plato de champiñones con un acabado similar fueron excelentes. La pasta principal era igualmente buena. Lamentablemente, el pescado y las patatas fritas estaban secos y, obviamente, se compraron previamente preparados, pero tan pronto como lo mencionamos (cuando se llevaron la comida sin terminar) nos ofrecieron un plato de queso gratis para compartir para terminar la comida. Un toque agradable y refleja el excelente servicio amable y atento en todo momento. El desayuno estaba preparado para nosotros frente al fuego, y el desayuno cocinado era igual de bueno. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estancia. Por lo general, puede estacionar gratis frente al hotel en la plaza, pero en los días de mercado debe estacionar la noche anterior en un pequeño estacionamiento gratuito en la calle principal.

We had a Sunday lunch at this hotel and my wife was a bit disappointed that it was not quite the traditional Sunday roast she had expected. Whilst the meal was fine it was swimming in gravy (a jug is always a nice option for serving gravy) and no Yorkshire pudding (we think it was missed and there was an abundance of roast potatoes). My meal of fish and crushed new potatoes was good but could have benefitted from an extra vegetable or two. Overall the prices are a bit dearer than most other pubs for nothing special and they do apply a "discretionary" service charge.

Staying local for xmas and booked this in advance as it lookes promising. Hmmm, it didnt live up to expectation at all. No warm welcome, no festive cheer and certainly no friendly banter. Not what you would expect for Xmas Day.Sat out back alone (as a couple) forgotten welcome drink, delayed drinks, cold and overly oiled soup...........nothing worth the cost per person at all. As people previously in the trade ourselves, i think the owners need to look at their ability to "host" and their attention to detail. Xmas day is about fun, hospitality and good cheer.....all of which were very sadly lacking at The Bull on Xmas day 2019. Wouldnt be back and wouldnt recommend at all.

Es posible que haya recordado mi crítica en junio de 2018: estaba con mi entonces esposa Linda, que terminó llevándome a casa después de consumir 2 pintas de Ginness. Mi reciente visita y mi nueva pareja Kirsty, que para mi deleite ama a un Guinness tanto como a mí.Estamos en una etapa relativamente temprana en nuestra relación y pensé para mí dónde podría llevarla. Entonces me di cuenta de que tenía una visita atrasada a The Bull. Directo al grano: visita dominical, comida que consistía en champiñones salteados del bosque, huevo de pato frito y trufa en tostadas para comenzar, el rosbif con todos los trocitos y mi favorito caramelo pegajoso para pudín, que en 3 platos para 23 fue Excelente valor. Kirsty logró pasar por 3 pintas de Guinness y una selección, y para mi deleite, tuvo que llevarla a su casa, lo que hace un cambio, ya que generalmente me llevan de regreso.El servicio nuevamente fue excelente y el lugar bien mantenido.Hasta pronto, con suerte con la misma mujer esta vez. . .

Nos alojamos aquí los sábados y domingos por la noche para un bautizo en familia. ¿Qué puedo quedar? Todo el mundo fue amable y servicial. Comimos aquí el domingo por la noche atendieron sin gluten increíblemente bien gran variedad de opciones. Volveremos pronto para un largo fin de semana bien hecho a todos por hacer que nuestro fin de semana sea relajante. Encantador lugar para comer o quedarse xx?

Quick lunch with a customer, ordered 2 Ciabatta Sandwich's - Fish Finger & Ham/Cheese - very small and very few fries - nothing else for around £10 each. Not worth the money and still hungry afterwards.

Éramos dos parejas y todos disfrutamos de la comida, los cócteles y el servicio. Hay un muy buen ambiente y la elección de los platos y la calidad era alta. Un punto culminante particular fue el risotto de eglefino ahumado, aunque el entrante de hongos también obtuvo una puntuación muy alta. El Salado Caramel Martini fue un gran éxito. El servicio fue muy amable y divertido (aunque debería haber habido una respuesta mucho mejor a "¿qué hay en el pastel de pescado?" Que "no sé, no me gusta el pescado".

Popped in for Sunday dinner at 12:30pm. Asked one of the bar staff for the food menus and was told the menus will be out soon, strange as their website says lunch served 12:00 - 15:00. We decided to go for a quick walk and came back 20 minutes later. Popped back in and found a table, asked a waitress for menus and was given the Sunday roast menu. Later after we had already ordered we overheard a different waitress explain the specials board to another table, why were we never introduced to the special menu?? Looking on the Bulls website there also seems to be a bar menu available on Sundays which has lots more lunch choices, why didn’t we see this menu?? We ordered the roast beef and burger for mains along with a soup and child’s meal to start, we specifically asked for the child’s meal to be served with the soup starter but unfortunately this simple instruction was not carried out, even when the waitress noticed this the child’s meal still came out with the mains!! For a roast dinner that costs £15 I expect it to be exceptional, unfortunately my meal was luke warm, lacking gravy and lacking vegetables; one carrot, 3 potatoes, cabbage, one Yorkshire and one parsnip..... the food was very tasty but the portions were small given the cost. I asked the waiter for the bill which unfortunately never arrived so we had to go to the bar to ask for it. The bill arrived but had £18 worth of drinks on which we didn’t order, along with a “discretionary 12.5% service charge”! The waitress was good and soon altered the bill along with the 12.5% service charge which I certainly wouldn’t have a paid regardless. We live local and this was our first visit to the Bull but unfortunately I doubt we’ll be rushing back. Not good value and although the staff were friendly and polite there was a lack of waiting skills.

Found a deal on Secret Escapes which included full breakfast and a two course dinner. Absolutely superb, so good in fact that I would pay the normal tariff to stay here. Arrived slightly early for check-in but were invited to sit in one of the lounges, or the bar, as it would only be about 10 minutes. It turned out to be 5 minutes, and we were given a room upgrade! The room looked over the market square, had a sitting area, and a fabulous bathroom and, very important, a large comfortable bed. Dinner was superb, everything on the menu was available except for the steak which had a £5 supplement. I had whole plaice and my wife had chicken, both of which were superb. The full English was wonderful, with perfectly cooked poached eggs (not always the case in other establishments). Had a two night break and could have happily stayed longer. Great staff, great room, great food and drink.

Excellent place to stay for a few days, the room are very nice, food and beer are very good. All the staff is very friendly, and welcoming.

Dommage, cela aurait pu être un séjour agréable. Chambre spacieuse, très bonne literie... malheureusement la chambre était située juste au-dessus de la terrasse extérieure qui est bruyante et réveil en fanfare à 7h00 du matin avec les clients dans les couloirs. Pour clôturer le tout attente de 45 mn pour être servi d un porridge, car personnel pas très efficace... Dommage..

Prebooked a table for evening meal. Arriving at the bar the barman pointed to a table in the bar, would of preferred a quiet corner. I would of expected a table laid up ready for us rather than a pot of children’s size cutlery to sort ourselves out. Menu was ok though rather limited. Food okish . Service is certainly not good had to ask several times for water, starters and main all came at the same time, and as we paid in cash we were told to pay at the till. No one bothered to ask if everything ok. Felt like we weren’t welcome, shame as we are local so next outing will be elsewhere!

We spent a night in this charming old Cotswold pub. The room was stuffy and airless but the fan provided helped with that. Everything else was excellent. We had a fish sharing platter, a vegetable one and a cheeseboard for our evening meal. It came to £45 for the two of us. The ingredients were all perfect. I could not have created that spread myself from our local supermarket for that price. A simply splendid place to stay.

We live in the North Cotswold and are used to higher than average prices, but also expect good quality food and service which is not difficult to find. Food at the Bull was bland, very ordinary, but highly priced. The girl behind the bar was not confident in what she was doing, but that is the managements fault, not hers. Service was poor as was the food and I can easily find a better pint of Arkells. Will try another pub next time.

Booked a table for four. Staff very friendly and approachable. Lunch menu not extensive but easily sufficient for all tastes.

We came to cool down and refuel after the hottest day of the year so far this year. We we welcomed inside the bar area with our Boston Terrier dog and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable.

Always a great local pub and barely OK restaurant, new ownership has updated the rooms to "best in the region" and upped the menu downstairs to "considerably better with room for improvement." Staff is great, rates follow season but the newly remodeled room are unparalleled. Decor and function are top of the scale.

Stopped here after a walk to the mill pond and river walk. The ale is decent but they also have a selection of gin & tonics. The menu looked to be very good.

Found this place by chance and was delighted by the courteous service, excellent food and wine. I had pizza and my wife had a ciabatta which were both unspoilt and delicious. Well worth a visit if you get the chance.

Ate in the bar a couple of times. Very satisfied with the food. There is a good bar menu serving pizzas (excellent ones made in proper pizza oven), fish, meat, and excellent deserts. The bar is always well attended, creating good atmosphere, but never crowded.

Went here for bank holiday lunch with family. Starters and desserts are roughly £9 with mains coming in at £18-20+. The mains looked like child portions or small lunchtime portions and were really disappointing for the price. If the menu was more realistically priced the visit would not have been so shocking. I had the pie with mash and greens, the mash was part of the pie so the plate seemed half empty and it seemed like a child’s portion. The cheese board was £9 and probably the best part of the meal as it was a decent portion for one person.

Manages to achieve the balancing act of being a decent pub with good beers, good gins and drinkable wine while also delivering a quality restaurant service in the same building. There are real people in the pub which makes it a comfortable place for a bar meal

Popped in for a drink & reference for staying in the future. Quite an impressive old coaching inn with various rooms & dining areas everywhere with lovely fireplaces none of which were lit on what was a miserable day prompting the only other customer obviously a local to ask for some paper so he could light one.

First time eating raw venison and it was delicious! The venison is a lunch/dinner appetizer, so do t expect it to fill you up. The chicken bacon club is a lot food and may be enough for a take away dinner. The San Miguel beer was light and refreshing.

I booked the Bull this evening on a recommendation from the sister pub ,The Five Alls, which was excellent. I ordered Squid as a starter and my sister the soufflé. Her soufflé was delicious, my squid was difficult to find amongst the salad (which was lovely). 4 tiny pieces for £7.50!! I could go on but having visited a second time I find the service has not improved other than when we were first greeted. We will not be back.

I went here with friends for lunch in Christmas week. We had a nice lunch in a nice atmosphere, good food and service.

Myself and 3 friends came here for Sunday lunch. We were very surprised to find that at 1 o'clock we were the only people in the restaurant. The waitress assured us that they were full, but by the time we left only 2 other tables were occupied. The food was OK but wouldn't rush back as it was expensive for what it was.

Food was ace just what the the doctor ordered! Would have got 5 stars but the desert menu didn’t come! Service was spot on otherwise and thoroughly enjoyed everything

I lived in Fairford in 1958/1959 I must say nothing much has changed 60years later.

As I said in the previous review, we ate at the pub. It is a traditionally charming place, filled with locals in the evening. A great place to meet people. Service was friendly and prompt. Makes a relaxing night out over a pint.

I really do want to like The Bull after yet another management incarnation but it still misses the mark. Service was eye rolling my poor complete with the comment of “wow you’ve eaten half of that pizza already!” From the server. Yes seriously. You might as well have got the loud hailer out and said “WOW look at THIS guy!-what a glutton” Made me uncomfortable and totally inappropriate. I’d eaten half of it because I’d waited 30 minutes to get the blooming thing! Wine pretty expensive at £36.50 for a Saint Veran. My better half loved her cod but it was starter size. Dinner for 3 mains, no starter or dessert was £85 with service. Remains underwhelming.

We popped in recently for a lunch when visiting Fairford. We ate in the bar as we had our 2 dogs. The bar was quite quiet but our dogs were welcome. The menu was comprehensive and we ordered a steak and ham. egg and chips. Whilst waiting someone on an adjacent table received his food, but it was not what he ordered, somehow the order got mixed up. Then, would you believe it out food came and my food was not as ordered, so it went back, However when the ham, egg and chips came, it was the best I have ever tasted, the ham was perfect, well carved tasty and the eggs were perfect bot dripping in fat but perfectly cooked, a very rare event in most restaurants I can tell you. The steak was really full of flavor. The only real let down was the "poor and dissinterested service from the bar staff and server, they all needed better training some "life about them" attention to detail and far better customer service.

We stopped in to the Bull for lunch and the service by the young barman was excellent. He knew his menu well and could answer questions easily for us. The food when it came was excellent. Not the cheapest but excellent quality would definitely recommend

We had booked a table for Sat lunch and as we were not able to get the time slot requested, we assumed the place was really full. Arrived 10 minutes before our appointed time to find that only two tables were occupied by couples, one in the bar and one in the side room off the bar. We had been allocated a table in the bar but the member of staff said we could look around and sit anywhere. So we sat in the side room where tables were laid out for lunch. Opted for 2 mains ( Korean spare ribs and lamb kofta)

Hello! We’ve eaten at The Bull a few times since it’s been done up and it’s always been lovely - so good to have a local like this on the doorstep! We decided to eat here again this evening as my mother was over. We ate early and to start with ordered the hummus and pita to share for 3. It arrived with only 4 small cut up bits of pita so I had to ask for more - no probs but a bit mean! For mains we had the Caesar Salad (with side order of fries), Fish & Chips and Gammon Ham and chips. ‘OK’ is all I can say really - the batter on my mum’s fish wasn’t crisp, the skinny chips for everyone were a bit soggy, my Caesar salad was made up of cheap iceberg lettuce (mixed leaves would have been so much nicer) and the portion sizes were very modest. Just disappointing really, it fulfilled a need but that’s all. Such a shame when it had been so lovely before. The service was friendly tho, perhaps it was just an off night.

My husband took me for a surprise birthday dinner with family. I was not disappointed. The service, was impeccable. We were a table of 12 and it was seamless. The food was amazing. Totally exceeded my expectations. Not rushed at all. Fantastic night. A credit to the industry. I would give 10 stars if I could, faultless.

We had another fantastic visit to the bull last night. Service is always 100% friendly and food is always served quickly. We eat in the bar area which is doggy friendly and always have a fantastic time. Burger and lamb kofta’s are brilliant.

We went in The Bull a few evenings while in Fairford for a week. Sitting outside having a few drinks was lovely and it is dog friendly like most pubs in the area. we went for a meal one evening and had a burger meal and the ribs. The food was pretty average and service nothing special.

Hier op het terras aan de voorkant van het hotel/restaurant neergestreken. Het was heerlijk weer en dan ga je niet binnen zitten. Het duurde even voor er iemand kwam. Vermoedelijk de eigenaar. Die zei dat we binnen moesten bestellen. Ook moesten we gelijk betalen. in het verleden zijn mensen zonder te betalen weggelopen. Het voelde wat raar. Het eten was goed en werd vrij vlot gebracht. Het hotel ziet er leuk uit, zowel binnen als buiten. Jammer dat de bediening zo raar verloopt. Ik moest met twee flesjes en twee glazen zonder dienblad zien hoe ik buiten kwam. Nadat ik betaald had kwam de eigenaar wel vragen of het eten naar wens was en kon er verder wel aan tafel bediend worden buiten.

Loved this hotel.very friendly helpful staff. Room small but beautifully decorated. There are special toiletries in the bathroom.. which can also be bought at reception. The bathroom is clean modern and with a rain shower. Excellent restaurant for both evening and breakfast. We’ll be back!!

A large group of us had dinner here the other night. Busy Saturday evening , booked a table for 9. Had a great evening. The staff was great, very friendly and welcoming, good sense of fun yet professional. Orders taken efficiently and quickly, but at no point did we feel rushed. The menu had a good selection for all tastes and appetite sizes. Food was good, evening was great.

I urge you to scroll past the bad reviews and give The Bull a go yourself. I did that exactly and I was not disappointed.

What a shame as a regular visitor to the Plough and sometimes the Five Alls for special occasions I was hoping that this would be to similar standards. I was taking my brother and sister for a well earned meal and we were all very dissappointed. The service was very good although a little slow but usually you make exceptions for the food but on this occasion the food was below the normal standards and the portions were small. Maybe the menu being so vast is part of the issue but we will not be going back to this one. We did not complain to the guy serving us as the restaurant part we were in had other guests.

Stayed here midweek for two nights, excellent rooms and service. Atmosphere was relaxed with friendly staff, breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Would recommend without hesitation

The restaurant area is nicely set out and the food is prepared and presented really well.quite a cozy atmosphere if required

We regularly go to this restaurant and everytime we go the food is amazing! The roasts on sundays are lovely and the pizzas are fantastic! They are delicious. The building is lovely and is so cosy and welcoming and there is a good atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

3 of us had a lovely girly lunch seated in the window! Delicious fresh sandwiches with chips! Huge portions!! A lovely fresh water dispenser on the bar to help yourselves.

Having just returned from lunch with my 'foodie' friend today, I had to immediately write a review. The roast cod dish ooozed so much flavour with the sauces and curried roast cauliflower and the fish was cooked perfectly. The staff were also attentive and very friendly. This was my second visit. My first was on Mother's Day with my family, when I was equally impressed.

Excellent place, friendly staff, great food, great beers and awesome selection of Gins. Dog friendly too. Which is great.

Popped in for lunch as moving to the area soon and keen to check out local places to eat. Food was nice, service good and staff extremely pleasant. Lovely open fires burning away and overall a big thumbs up from us. Looking forward to more visits soon.

Our first visit since The Bull had its refurb - I'd heard the service wasn't ever so good. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch, the food is excellent as is the service - really shouldn't listen to local gossip!

Have recently visited the Bull on two separate occasions and both times have been excellent. The service is polite but not too overbearing and the food is superb. It fairly priced for the quality of the food.
