We went for my Daughters 13th birthday our waitress Leanne was brilliant and went above and beyond to make my daughters birthday meal special. Thank you so much for an amazing evening.

The seating in the restaurant is the worst I have ever had sit on, I dinned here back in May and it was poor, and was fully expecting the seating to be renewed in fact it was much worse also very dirty as the faux leather is completely worn through, I'll be posting photos on other revue sites.

Great service from both Lisa’s, Really helpful and attentive as I was staying in the premier inn next door and as I use these on many occasions there can sometimes be issues with allowance but I was assured right from the get go all was good, Great team and an asset to the business, Thanks

Great service, good atmosphere, but value for money is questionable

Sadly there was a lack of staff so we were left waiting at the desk waiting to be seated while the only woman there was serving behind the bar. The food was good and the waiter was very friendly and helpful as always.

Second time eating here as I was stopping at Premier Inn. I had the vegetarian burger, and must say it's one of the nicest I've had. It was quite busy service was ok considering.

We went for lunch time menu, had a good starter of chicken and mushroom, then for our main dinner we ordered an upgrade to sirloin steak and asked for median well , Dinner came out with dry steak really awful to eat , really disappointed and won't be returning, had better food at home 😕 not a good experience when thinking your having a treat , won't return for meal .

The battered fish was all batter and what fish there was mushy and tasteless. My partners ribs appeared undercooked in her opinion plus corn and peas were cold. Won't be going back

Stop regularly at hotel and always have a meal here excelant food and service

The food was very nice but it would be great if there were some more gluten free options as husband has coeliacs & some things unclear.The waitress was very attentive,even though they were short staffed.

They had staff shortages and couldn't offer us a table for just 2 people. So can't comment on the atmosphere, food or service. As we left within 1 minute of arriving. What I can say is that, they need to invest some money for the outside seating area as it looks run down, and very poor looking. No decent seating, no parasols, nothing. Just slate that's worn thin revealing the inner layer under lining. Come on beefeater, you can do better! We won't come back till you do.

Place was okay. You can tell they were under staffed but the service was also sub par. Food was good. No issues there. Just not blown away or anything like that. Dessert was really good though.

I have been here a lot and will continue to go back. The food is always very nice and the staff are always friendly. Sometimes they do not always have a full menu but the food that is served is always of good quality.

We went to beefeater the Bull on Wednesday 7th August, our waitress name was Sally. Sally was extremely professional and friendly, such a lovely member of the team there.

Good roast dinner..not great..but the veg was nicely cooked..lamb a bit bland... Yorkshire pud just right Loved my kit kat sundae. Grace, our waitress,was brilliant...very friendly and charming. All staff cheerful .

Not bad but would prefer a bit more gravy on the dinner rather than it being put on by the staff, maybe an option for self service

This restaurant is desperately in need of modernisation, the seating is in appalling condition especially the leatherette type benches that are so cracked and worn out they are very uncomfortable to sit on. There always seems to be a problem, with the gas, the lighting, the lemonade dispenser broken for weeks on end, which shows a total lack of management interest and investment, which is such a shame as the waiting staff are really good. The restaurant is always very busy when we go which is often twice a month.

Another v good family meal at this beefeater. Ample parking not overcrowded as we were there at 6pm. We were seated at a nice round table, we were served by a v nice gentleman called Melih, took our drinks order and gave us time to check out the menu ordering was very easy all items available. Food was all served hot and looked appetising, steak cooked just how we liked it. Melih was very good and made our visit enjoyable. Well done we would recommend. Thanks

Lovely little theatre friendly family atmosphere great shows perfect prices

I came here for an early celebration of my upcoming birthday. I had received an email voucher for a free main meal, and I claimed a free bottle of house wine on accumulated loyalty points. We were looked after by Louise, who was friendly and attentive throughout. The food was very good and we had a lovely time.

Tasty Lasagna and salad with grilled gammon, chips and salad. Went well with cool, refreshing glasses of Peronni zero percent alcohol. Staff were welcoming, efficient and coping well with surge of customers! Finest Kind! Will repeat experience! 👍⭐

Prepared a 30th birthday meal here on the 9th and it was a lovely restaurant. We had a table booked for 18 people and the lovely waitress Vikki made my booking experience so much easier as it's so hard to book larger tables. And during our meal Sally was our waitress and she did absolutely amazing. All of our orders were correct, she was quick and friendly and absolutely rushed off of her feet bless her, she did an absolutely wonderful job with us. Food was amazing, drinks were flowing. Sally never left our glasses empty!! Will definitely be coming back again.

My youngest 15th birthday,, i will not recommend the ribs taste awful and it was too expensive for lunch without discount.

Table for 2 booked for 7pm. Arrived at 645 and told table not ready. To stand and wait. Have seen 7 couples come in and go straight to a table. When i commented, i was told your table isnt ready.. We dont mind where we sit. But the best bit was when somebody walked in, no booking and got a table. Really. Think your staff need some training. We have waited 45 minutes now. Terrible service. Rediculous. We are leaving.

Absolutely disgusted.my booking was cancelled 3 hrs before we were due too arrive. I had family on route from Portsmouth as it was a surprise lunch for my Mothers 70th birthday. Due to the large amount of people it took us nearly an hr and a half to ring round and find somewhere to accommodate a large party on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily we did but the stress caused overshadowed the day. We should of been told there was an issue straight away.

Wanted to write a review to thank Tia who looked after our table on 1st May. There were approx 20 people, arriving and leaving at different times. Tia coped very well. No mixed up orders or mistakes. She was friendly, polite and everyone enjoyed the evening very much. Food was excellent too! Thanks Tia

Leighanne was our waitress, she was the only waitress there and she was extremely busy, however she done so well and remained very polite despite being rushed off her feet.

Was not even taken to a table, which I may add once we found one it hadn't even been cleared or cleaned. Nobody asked how our meal was, in fact it was quite bland and nothing to shout about. Once we'd eaten we left. Won't be returning.

Great good food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Strongbow on tap. Large car park. What more could you ask for. It's best to book a table before going.

We have been discriminated today. We went to have our usual family breakfast with our 5 and 6 y/o kids and the receptionist told us at 09:22 that there no seats for us. We left and looked online and we were able to book a table at 09:30. When we came back to tell the lady about the booking, she said she can't see the booking and walked away. We always come here almost every week and has not been treated this way. This is definitely a bad customer service.

Went here with the family for Easter. The food was lovely and hot. The waiter was friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend it.

Had to wait 10 minutes to be served our first drinks, which is long, also the starters are awful quality, the type you pay £1 a pound bag from Iceland frozen, quality has gone done hill massively, would only return for the breakfast not the main meals/lunch

I have to say our server was lovely! However when ordering glazed BBQ ribs I don’t expect a dry curry tasting rack of ribs. No offer to replace the ribs with a fresh rack! Was just told to order something else. Which I didn’t do as if I wanted to eat something else I wouldn’t have ordered the ribs in the first time. Also asked another server for a coke top up and got told in a very rude manner that she will do it. This is unacceptable and poor excuse of customer service! I will not be coming back as this has got to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be sticking to more up market restaurants where the food isn’t pre cooked.

Did not come or make a booking as I wanted to discuss whether there was a Gluten free menu with a live person . Went with family all had different meals and we all enjoyed them

Good meal for a chain pub/restaurant. Slow to be seated initially but was well looked after by our waitress Vikki P it said on the receipt who was like a workhorse through out 👍 Beer was a good pint and no real complaints with the food.

Getting tatty. Need a revamp of the seats. Didn’t find out until 2 days after mum said her Mother’s Day lamb was tough. Lamb should be tender if I’d known at the time would have sent it back! Regular menu too dull imho same old same.

I have visited many times and it is always clean and tidy with a lovely calm atmosphere. I thought this time I’d try some lunch where I ordered from the bar as I wanted to sit in the bar /lounge area. The lady at the bar was exceptionally kind and welcoming. I dined alone and felt that was such a lovely greating. My starters arrived hot and tasty .( breaded mushrooms) I had asked for a different dip in which the kind lady helped me choose one and it was perfect. I will do a separate review for my main. I just wanted to say thank you to the warm welcoming today .

Very disappointed by the experience. The service was slow, waiting a long time to be be seated. Not enough staff obviously. The only tables available were in the bar area (order at the bar) which wasn’t a problem although there were many empty tables. No sweet potato fries available. Food was brought without any explanation as to where to find cutlery or condiments. The calamari was made of small bits with a thick battered coating. Prawn cocktail was ok but not generous. No butter available for the toasted baguette. Sirloin steak was not tender. Rack of ribs was quite dry and the extra side salad never arrived and no apology offered when we went for a refund at the end. Tables weren’t cleared effectively and some bar tables hadn’t been cleaned. A lot of money for a poor meal. About £50 for food.

We came with neighbours to use 33% off voucher and have fillet steak, we told them this is the best place for steak. We were shown to table by someone who was unwelcoming and couldn't even smile. We ordered 3 fillet steaks 2 med/rare one medium and a vetarian meal, all steaks came cooked the same way with virtually no red, when the server asked if ok, I mentioned that mine was not even medium she offered to get another but I declined as I would have to sit while the others ate, my husband hadn't touched his at this stage and his was overcooked too so he ended up leaving most of it as it was tough. When server came at the end and we told her it wasn't nice she just said in an unpleasant way 'I said I'd change it' as if we were a nuisance. Evening spoiled tho dogs were happy, won't rush back. Neighbour said Veg option was nice.

We had a lovely meal here, my partner had the Mixed Grill, and I had the Turkey Roast Dinner and it was very nice. Staff very friendly and welcoming, nice atmosphere!

I had breakfast this morning 28/Feb/24 along with 9 of my colleagues. The full English breakfast was absolutely shocking the majority of our food was cold or undercooked or wrong and I begrudgingly paid the £9.99p. Can you please refund all or part of the bill I paid and can you take action so this doesn’t happen to future customers.

This is our local Beefeater. The food has got so much better here. Visited twice this month, and both times, the food was delicious. A visit to this restaurant is recommended.

Me and My son had a lovely meal the the Bull Beefeater Swanly. The food was delicious. The desserts even better. The service was great. Sally was our waitress. She was efficient and friendly.

Went to the Bull Swanley, we had steak one had to be well done for health reasons one medium. They were really lovely even the well done one was really tender. Couldn't fault the whole meal and service.

Brilliant food, great atmosphere, excellent service from waitress Tia, highly recommend a visit.

We got over charged by alot and my son got very bad food poisoning from there kids meal fish bites. Was vomiting and had diarrhea for about a week and had to go urgent care for him because of it. I've tried contacting them and telling them about this but they have ignored every email and phone call.

Had a lovely evening meal with family and friends. Staff were all very welcoming and the food was very enjoyable. Our waitress Tia was helpful and was brilliant with our children.

Ordered chicken curries and 2 arrived vaguely warm. Inside was ice cold so let staff know. She took away to 'heat up a bit more' which was a little worrying but I think in the end we got 2 new hot currys. Impressed lady in kitchen was wearing gloves but then watched her standing in kitchen eating a burger then carry on serving up food 😕 Last visit couple of years ago had a half roast chicken that was cold and pink inside in places. With this 2nd experience feel unconfident that they know how to cook food safely.

Very nice venue, but I regret ordering the gammon. The gammon was served not cooked through, still raw in places. The egg on top was also not fully cooked. I enjoyed the chips though. When I mentioned the problem to the waitress, I was told that the young chef was vegan, so didn't really know how to cook these things!

Food tasted nice but not that hot. Took ages to take our drinks and food order. Very smokey restaurant come out stinking of the grill.

A very busy Sunday lunchtime! It was extremely noisy and sounded like a school canteen. Waitress Gracie was extremely polite and hard working. Service was efficient and served with a smile. Food could have been hotter but chefs were obviously very busy. Probably won't visit again.

Had another great evening, lovely food, our waitress Grace was absolutely lovely. Steak cooked to perfection for me as was the poached eggs with with the morning breakfast.....recommended.

Food was luke warm , seriously under staffed , was a busy Sunday. And not enough staff. Roast dinner was nice just was luke warm. And our meals come out 15minuites apart.

Great evening meal out here celebrating my Mother's birthday. Don't normally do an evening meal as we do ladies that lunch 😂 Service was excellent, staff very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back for another evening. Enough time was given to choose what to have and didn't wait long for food to arrive, even in between courses . Atmosphere was very good. No noisy tables. The staff even surprised my Mum with her dessert with a lit "Happy Birthday " candle and they sang Happy Birthday to her aswell. We wasn't expecting that so well done to them. I would recommend booking a table tho as can get full. Free car park but you do have to enter your car number plate as you enter.

Good food for a "chain" restaurant. All arrived in good time for the whole party. Lovely friendly and helpful waitress, nothing was too much trouble. Very good venue for Sunday lunch.

Good place to go to. My partners medium steak was pretty much well done! But overall I will be eating there again! ☺️

Unfortunately, the food always lets this place down. I can't understand why the chefs can never get the orders right. We always end up with only half of what we should have. The Christmas chicken burger was literally a chicken burger. None of the trimmings that should have accompanied it were there. Disappointing.

5* just got Back home from having a meal here with my family. absolutely love the food. The waiter we had was great 5* starter, main and dessert was all lovely. Definitely value for money ..,, fish and chips was lovely 😊 will definitely be back soon. Thank you
