Waited over an hour, no answer on phones. Very hungry so going to pick up something else, can’t cancel the order by phone or email. It will be very embarrassing if they do eventually turn up.

Normally have a great experience with Aniseed. Unfortunately, tonight was not the same. The portions were considerably smaller than normal. And to top it off, there was a long black hair coming out of my keema naan, to which resulted in the entire meal being thrown away. There's no way that we're going to eat something with someone's hair in it. Recieved a full refund and delt with in a timely manner

This place is amazing! I had the Lamb Ghurka Revenge and i was full of flavour without being too hot. I had it with Coconut Rice, a Keema Naan and some poppadums I wouldnt hesitate to go back here. Being solely a takeaway the food prep was quick and I was in and out in two minutes.

We've been a customer of Aniseed since they opened. We waited 90 mins tonight for a delivery, when it arrived it was inedible. The spiciest dish we ordered was a pathia, which is supposed to be medium, but was so uncomfortably spicy we couldn't eat it. And all of the dishes were so oily. I want to support local business but Aniseed really let themselves down, 90 minutes is too long to wait for poor quality food

Owner is really nice and both there coconut rice with the king prawn masala is amazing

I've had a few home deliverys, all good, until the last one where the rice was overdone and the chicken Madras was so sickly sweet and had coconut in it!!!

Fantastic curry, you can really taste the individual spices and flavours. Friendly staff.

Thought we'd have an Indian for our stay at home nye meal. The 2 curries were well over spiced. I had a dhansak which was bordering vindaloo heat, I'm not bothered by the heat and the flavour of the dhansak was good but the quality of the chicken in it was fairly poor. The biggest problem by far was my wife's chicken saag which should be at most medium heat, but again it was spiced between madras and vindaloo which is inedible for her so it ended up getting wasted and her eating toast!!!! Also the garlic naan was pretty bland. Real shame and let down on an evening we were trying to enjoy given the lockdown conditions. We also tried calling to rectify but they had clearly left their phone off the hook and we couldn't get back to the premises as both had been drinking. Extremely disappointed and won't be returning.

if you love indian food, then learn to cook it yourself as this establishment only serves broken promises. 3 1/2 hours and we are still waiting. They must be the official restaurant of 2020.

Their online ordering system lets them down again and again. It is set up to NOT send email confirmation which means you have no idea if your order has gone through or not. Despite clicking through the 4 or 5 clicks to get through actually ordering, and back out to the home page so I know I have gone through every step... we have no dinner. And not for the first time. The curry is good and they do deliver so we may well try again but the website they have is a shambles. I see other reviews on here which seem to be attributable to the same issue.

Ordered for 6 people on Friday night. Everyone agreed that their food was delicious! Its was delivered promptly and was piping hot. What more can you ask for.

Absolutely flawless, went above and beyond to find us and we are hard to locate, the food was so tasty...not a touch in other takeaways in Edenbridge. No grease just fine food. Thank you so much for resorting my faith in in takeaways xxxx

Recently moved to the area so decided to try this place. Food finally arrived after 3 hours & 20 mins. I called twice & was told various excuses. The last time I called I was told not to phone again as they were waiting for a driver to come back. When it arrived 1 of the starters was missing & the food was barely warm. The lamb rogan tasted funny & got put straight in the bin. Will definitely not be ordering anything from there again.

Nice curry but nothing special. Delivered within an hour. But the biggest let down was I couldn't order mint sauce on their online ordering system so I asked for it in the Special Requests and didn't receive it. Disappointed really as I needed the mint sauce for the Naan and Poppadoms. The rice was standard and the curry was flavoursome but not much sauce

Curry wasn’t very good. My wife had biryani which should be a mild dish and was too spicy for her. There are much better Indian takeaways in Edenbridge. I found aniseed a lot more expensive too. ... and everything comes in plastic tubs!

Warning for everyone....anaseed Indian review what a bunch of idiots!! Cant get an order right then want to come and collect the order as they don't believe the order is wrong then have to wait a further 40 mins for the wrong order to turn up again!! I asked for a refund but the guy there said no. Will never use them again and would highly recommend that other people don't!! God knows what happens to the food if it's ok to take it backwards and forwards between someone's house!! If you've ordered tonight you might get the one that's been to my house and back already!! Absolute joke!!

The biryani, which tbh is normally a mild dish, was very spicy tonight although nice everything we ordered was very good in fact

Good food, but seems to go through phases of being really great and then average, portion sizes always changing as well. Slightly higher priced than others in Edenbridge. Still recommend giving it a try, just wish it could be more consistent.
