This is a review of the spa and I would give it zero stars if I could: Rude staff - including responses to follow up complaints about our day. Not enough padlocks for lockers and loungers / seats in the spa area Broken facilities including the iPad for parking, card machines and jacuzzi Less than 24 hours notice for a change in treatment times due to staff illness Children using the pool with inflatables and water guns (not a very relaxing spa day experience!) Dirty changing rooms, showers and steam room. Could not recommend less easily the worst spa experience I’ve ever had.

When you fire that rude and disrespectful bar attendant (the young dude with curly hair covering his eyes) of yours, I might amend my review. Shocking communication and customer service. Receptionist was nice and changed our room from smock stinky to non-stinky. Pack of very small crisps costs £3.50, so bring your own. The nearest supermarket is a 20 min walk along very badly lit roads - use your mobile torch.

Amazing value when booking in advance, particularly for a weekday overnight stay. Spar is very pleasant and rooms are clean and comfortable. Located immediately adjacent to Brands Hatch track making access a doddle. Service at bar and restaurant was terrific and racing themed bar with pool table enjoyable.

Spa is ok but they do allow kids in the area. Best time to go is in the day time of a week day. I couldnt even get near the pool on a sunday as it was packed with familys and kids. If I could make any recommendations for the spa it would be to have the spa open later aswell as to have set pool times that are adult only x

Well, where to start… We usually always pop in on the Sunday after a race meeting at Brands Hatch but this evening tops the lot… To start with, the staff are running around with no clear plan and it shows. You can be waiting on average 10 minutes for a drink. Then came the food…. We ordered 3 drinks and a starter along with 3 dishes for our mains and one side. The side came with the starter and then 30 seconds later the mains appeared…. This is even before the drinks arrived after the staff were given a polite talking to. Usually, we always visit but this will definitely be the last for a while.

I took my daughter for a spa and after noon tea for her birthday , we had a lovely welcome, no complimentary drinks was offered, all staff was lovely and pleasant, swimming pool area was great , we was not asked about the choice of sandwiches, we had egg, mayonnaise and tuna both of those my daughter does not eat , a couple next to us had different sandwiches to us, so there was a choice of sandwiches, I wished I had asked what the sandwiches are, our spa was very good 5 star to Becky amazing facial

This was our second visit which was unfortunately delayed due to ill health but the spa kindly kept rearranging the date until we were well enough to enjoy the day. Everyone was friendly. Some delay with bar staff to arrange a coffee but this was a relaxing day so wasn't a problem. The downside is on arriving at the hotel you have to go back outside to a different entrance. Once at the spa there is direct access into the hotel unless you are disabled. Then the only step free access is back around the outside of the building. (This should be looked at as the spa is not fully accessible) The staff were very welcoming and went through all the need to know info. The changing rooms are dated but clean. The lockers need a luggage padlock to secure. (They look broken but the lock has to be turned and pushed in to activate the hole for the padlock) The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room are clean. The jacuzzi and enterance to the hotel is up steps but handrails are everywhere. Water was tested whilst we were there, staff constantly cleaning and monitoring. Robes and towels were OK. And you can use these in the bar area for drinks and food. We had a reasonable wrap and fries. And a late afternoon tea. The treatment rooms were on the 2nd floor and the lift was not working so a ground gloom double room was arranged in the hotel. This was all made so easy for us. We were escorted to the hotel, found a suitable table for lunch, and was collected from our table for our treatments. Our indian head massage, facial massage, neck, shoulder massage was absolutely bliss! The hotel room they used was so nice I would have happily stayed. All staff in both the hotel and spa were friendly approachable and happy to help. I've read the negative reviews and was concerned my second visit 6 years apart would not have been as good as before but it was. Its not mega luxury but this is reflected in the pricing. What it is is clean, friendly, unpretentious and relaxing.

We booked a spa day with treatments and afternoon tea and were very disappointed. When checking in, we were given dressing gowns and towels that were so hard and old. We were told to go and change in the changing room that was filthy, covered in mould and looked like it had not been cleaned for a decade. We went through to the pool area which does not have enough lounges for everyone. There was a child's swimming class going on at the time in the pool which we have no issue with as we have children ourselves but for someone who is looking for a relaxing morning before their treatment - this may not be the place for you. Our offer included a welcome hot drink, there was nothing available and we went to the bar to purchase 3 teas that we had to pay for. All other guests were in their normal clothes in this area and we felt a bit awkward in our hard awful dressing gowns. There was nowhere to even get a glass of water! It came to our treatment time when we were guided upstairs. There was no reception and we were told to sit in a tiny room which can only be described like an office where you would wait for a taxi with an old leather sofa and a water dispenser which tasted as the water had been sitting there for months. We were told to fill in a form and then just left. There were no areas for relaxation up there. When entering the treatment room it was so small that the bed had to be on the diagonal so the door could open! The treatment was not good at all, the therapist was wearing gloves which were rough on the skin and no question if the pressure of the massage was ok (which it wasn't). I didn't mention anything as by this time I was just so disappointed anyway. Our deal also included £10 off products should we wish to purchase anything but I had no idea what was used and just made my way back downstairs afterwards. We decided not to have a shower after as the shower area looked like it had bugs in it and so we thought we were better off showering after we arrived home. Afternoon tea was just as disappointing as the rest of our day. The cakes were cold as though they had just came out of the fridge and the scone was so old that it crumbled when cutting and could not be eaten. Nobody came and asked us if we would like another drink and we were completely ignored so we just got up and left. Funnily enough - we were the only people there in this area so that says everything about this experience. If you are thinking of booking - I wouldn't as we have been to many spa days and this is the worst by far. I don't understand how this could even be called a spa when it is not as it is a leisure centre.

Abit of a let down book half a spa day through an third party for spa, treatment and afternoon tea. My first contact with the spa was a email to confirm time of treatments at 12.30pm and afternoon tea at 1.30pm which was the day after booking was made through the website. The day before had a phone called to confirm afternoon tea time. Plus any special dietary requirements which was two x vegetarian. Which was fine happy for them to double check. On the day of the spa experience. we get a phone called 30 mins. Before we due in to say our spa treatment times had change. Had a voicemail left did try to called back twice while driving to the venue. To speak to sameone about this the phone was not answer. Me and my friend turn up and explained to the receptionist we would like our treatments at the same time. Was accommodation, did get give as two towels and robes which felt cheap. The females changing room was alright but the showers had moulds etc. The swimming pool was smaller size but was fine, did notice no water to drink was available like at other spas. Them it's was time for our afternoon tea, which was pre book and order. Took around 40mins to be served. The table was in the hotel reception area. First afternoon tea which was served had tuna sandwiches which we both have said again we are vegetarian. So was sent back did notice had half of cake cut for both of as. At this point we spoken with a senior member of staff called Jackie she was lovely and we explained anything to herself. And is getting the matter looked into. The lady at the bar was lovely too her name was Olivia which was trying her best by herself. Serving drinks, taking order, serving food and cleaning tables. Unfortunately the overall spa day was ridiculous and let down. The spa treatments was nice but nothing was explained to us with regards to products their used. The main reason for the two stars was because of the staff we deal with was lovely and not their fault at all. And would actually like to say a special thank you too Olivia and Jackie. But we sadly won't return for a spa day again

Room was nice staying here for work. Booked a table for 6 and food turned up 1.5 hours after ordering wrong or cold. Limited drinks in the bar along with bar toilets having poo on the wall. Most of the staff couldn't care that it was bad service apart from one lad the big lad who was trying todo everything at once.

This is one of the loveliest places I've stayed in Kent. Firstly, the location is perfect. Very lovely environment, not in the middle of the town, and the perfect location for a getaway. It's just by the road and quite easy to navigate. The staff are really lovely and professional. I love the fact that they have a lovely spa. Parking was a bit of a challenge, though. The room was really clean and spacious. I love the blackout curtains. The roon is well ventilated, although I'm not sure what it will feel like in the summer, considering the air conditioning was not working. Everything was spotless. Lovely bath. And the breakfast in the morning was really nice. Eat all you can. They have lots of options both food and drinks. They also have a lovely pool side. The bar is got a wide range of options and I don't think the prices are outrageous. I think this will be a perfect place to go for a spa day, and then sleep over, wake up to a lovely breakfast before returning to your home. I will definitely be maximising all the services on offer very shortly. Hopefully it won't be too hot in the summer

We visited twice now for spa days purchased through Buyagift. Our package included access to the facilities including pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and a 20min treatment. We also had the option to hire robe and slippers, on the 2nd visit the robe was included which was lovely as it was thick and cosy, ideal for walking to the treatment area. The staff were really friendly on arrival and the facilities were lovely. We purchased lunch in the hotel bar on our 1st visit which was good value and very tasty. We then preordered an afternoon tea for our 2nd visit which was scrummy! The treatments we had left us feeling so relaxed, even though they were only 20 minutes.

Nice place but there should be a regular bus service to Swanley and other station to the hotel for those who do not drive as it is very expensive to take a taxi from Swanley to the hotel. Thank you

Dirty. Took three room changes to find one which had been cleaned. 1st had burns and stains all over the carpet and was missing a curtain. Second the toilet was well used and clearly had not been cleaned. Third was ok.

I had a wonderful Spa Experience with a friend. Rooms are lovely size, bathroom a great size with a walk in shower. We booked the Overnight Stay package including a 50 Minute massage, use of all facilities and a 2 course meal at dinner, alongside a buffet breakfast! Great Value for the Price. The poool and jacuzzi very relaxing. And great to have a sauna and steam room! The hallway to the bedroom was lovely lay out. And the bars are very tidy clean. Staff were upmost welcoming and assisted with any enquiries. The dinner was beautiful, delicious and very worth the price they would be if was not included. Around £14-30 per person for two courses which is amazing deal! Only downfall was a loud whisling noise the whole time of our stay including at night time, this did keep me awake, and meant sleeping with the TV loud to cover the noise. This was a high pitch alarm or whistle. Unfortunately could not be stopped as staff did not even know what was causing this. This issue could be looked into after speaking with staff & other people staying this had been an ongoing noise.

Every time I choose to drink in I can hear the same staff member bad mouthing about the Manager. It’s very unprofessional, distracting and tiring. My advice would be to leave as he clearly knows how to run such a successful coffee shop, unfortunately I even know the mark up per coffee, sales per month and targets and that the targets are unsustainable despite vocally trying to close early on 80% of times I visit.

Kate was a horrible waitress who gave us attitude the whole night. It’s a shame there are people like this in the world, and frankly, Zizzi, It’s embarrassing that you even hired someone like her in the first place. Everything else was superb.
