The Bull Beefeater Grill in Sevenoaks

Premier inn a good stop over and the Bull is a handy restaurant next door. Enjoyed our meal at the Bull. The staff were great, particularly Melih our waiter. He was friendly, a good people person and seemed to run the restaurant single handed. we were surprised when he said he wasn't the manager. Come on Beefeater you are under rating a member of staff who deserves a promotion.

Dined here for two nights running whilst stopping in the hotel next door. Really could not find any fault with the place. Good efficient friendly service, good menu and reasonable Prices. I enjoyed a sirloin the first night with Rib Eye the second. Both really good cuts of meat and cooked well. I had some discount to use so with a couple of pints the meals came in at well under £20 which was a bargain.

Visited The Bull Beefeater in Swanley yesterday. I noticed the Parking registration machine still not working in the restaurant, (this has been out of action for many months, if not a year.) You have to go to the Premier Inn to register. Also the soft drinks machine is not working, again for over one month at least, so no lemonade, coke etc available, only in bottles. I had the Calamary to start as did my wife, the dish was very greasy and the crumbs just fell off the calamary, so in all looked a mess, i had the mixed grill for main course, the chips were not very hot, the peas were cold, the onion rings were rock hard and cold, luckily the meat was hot. My wife had the Chicken Melt, which she said, the bacon was rock hard and over done, and chips were nearly cold. The restaurant was very empty for around 7pm and was a shame, but if the food is being presented like we had, its no wonder. We used to use this restaurant on a very regular basis maybe twice a week, but after yesterdays poor foodand the drinks machine still out of order, we have decided we will no longer be booking a table at The Bull. It has been rumoured that Beefeater are closing this restaurant in the future, and seems like they are not repairing the things that stop working, so ask around for other peoples thoughts before you book.

We descended on the Bull on Friday the fifth of July, up to 30 of us, unannounced as the plans we had made for my friend's 50th birthday party had fallen through at the last minute! The staff went above and beyond all expectations to accommodate us! Tia, the manager was wonderful as were the rest of the staff. We were a bit niche in our request but all were met with good humour and enthusiasm. Plans are now being made to have Christmas dinner with you, breaking a tradition of generations of always having it in someone's house, hopefully you're not all booked up! Many thanks again to Tia and the rest of the staff. Robert the pushy Scottish git!

Food and service was exceptional and we really enjoyed our meal. All the staff were working hard with smiles on their faces. Our server Tia was lovely, helpful and professional. Highly recommend and we will definitely return

Had a lovely breakfast with a friend here - the staff were lovely here, particularly Leanne who was very attentive and bent over backwards to ensure we had a nice meal. Cooked breakfast was great too

Went to The Bull today for lunch. We had a 40% off voucher so was expecting the service not to be that good, how wrong was I. The staff were very busy but they all manage to look happy. We were in and out within an hour and a half with a 3 course meal each!!! Our waitress was Leanne D and she was friendly and very professional nothing was too much trouble.

Had a lovely family meal for 9 of us, food was lovely and cooked how we liked it, and the waitress Tia was very accommodating and friendly, lovely evening was had by all.

I could not have asked for more from either the food or staff when I visited overnight recently. I stayed at the hotel and booked the meal deal, of which better value I do not believe exists! It was quite lonely being alone, but the staff were so pleasant and friendly respectful of my situation that I did not feel awkward at all. I would like to commend most of all, Tia, who was there at dinner, breakfast and lunch, but whose friendliness, calm efficiency and never ending energy needs an award. Thank you to all the team.

I was welcomed by 1 of the loveliest lady staff ( Lesley )behind the bar . It was the warmest welcome I’ve ever had before and she was very helpful when I couldn’t decide what I wanted and helped to bring me a different dip for my breaded mushrooms. They arrived quick and hot and my main was perfect - lasagna was hot and tasty and the presentation suprised me and I enjoyed every bit . I overhear Lesley talking with an older man and it was lovely to see her take such good care of him also. You don’t see this nowdays . There were only 2 kitchens staff on and they looked well managed. This was a pleasant experience and I will be back next week with friends and family .

This is our regular Beefeater where we mainly go for breakfast with occasional lunch. This is by far the best value for money. The cooked breakfast is always freshly cooked (not a buffet) and is excellent. The service and quality of food is always very good and well presented. When very busy the staff are sometimes under a lot of pressure but have always coped very well. We always look forward to going there.

Very busy night in restaurant, however food was amazing . Not a long wait , piping hot and presentation lovely . Portion size was very generous, much better than the beacon where u get about 10 chips ! Waiter was lovely

We had such a lovely visit and eating/drinking experience at The Bull. We were welcome by a very friendly, efficient and professional waitress named Sally. I asked for some beans to go with my lasagna and some strawberries to go with my rekorderlig cider which she sorted for me. The food was terrific! It isn’t very often that we are able to all get together for a meal out but me and my family were delighted overall with The Bull and will definately recommend it to friends and visit again soon.

My grandparents and I came to The Bull for my birthday meal, it was lovely and Tia was so attentive and made our experience extra special! From sorting out issues with our food in minutes to getting to know our family and their drinks. Tia, and the rest of the staff at Bull are assets to the team. They are lovely and ensure that their guests have an extra special stay whilst also going above and beyond the expected standards. Even though it was busy tonight, we felt that our needs were met and we also had time to have a lovely chat and a laugh! Thank you all at The Bull

We booked a late xmas get together (9 of us total) and we had a great time. We was served by Louise C & everything came fast and the food was delicious. we all had a great time & are already thinking of returning this december.

Went today for. My dads 86th birthday with 15 adults and 4 children our server Jeanette was brilliant nothing too much trouble provided a folder of options for two family members with allergies very accommodating food was delicious too would highly recommend thank you for a lovely afternoon

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door over new years eve so restaurant choice was a little limited. The first night we went in it took us 15 min to get a seat even though it was semi empty. We sat next to the open kitchen. Firstly the waitress took our order and forgot our starters, she did however then bring out the starter and took it off the bill. Secondly a chef from the kitchen nearly gloves came out into the restaurant on her phone sat on the floor and proceeded to have a long phone call with her family. She then pushed herself up from the floor, went back into the kitchen and proceeded to make a prawn salad still wearing the same gloves. The second chef was not wearing gloves at all and her piercings were not covered, she was cooking meat and ripping it apart with her fingers to see if it was cooked. The third chef was a man with a bread who was not wearing a beard shield. The barmaid seriously needs to know how to pull a pint, filling a guineas glass like a lager to the top DOES NOT work, you get a cloudy guiness and a glass that is covered in slop. No one seemed to care about the customers they were more interested in joking and shouting at each other. Do

Had another lovely breakfast. 👌🏻. Have been to the breakfast 3 weeks running now in December with 2 kids (2yrs and 1.5yrs). Very comfortable, welcoming and staff are always friendly and say hello to the kids. 👍🏻 Food is great and caters for all choices (continental and cooked). Great start to our Friday mornings. Party of 12, different families including very hungry children, we stepped in looking for food, bad attitude starting from the manager laughing on us for not booking tables, she sugested to order from the bar and we did, very bad attitude from the bar server not allowing us to order the whole party and pushing us to decide quick with no patience at all, Not recommended to come at all, no family friendly, terrible experience!

Great service for breakfast. I was staying at the adjoining hotel for a week and had breakfast here each morning. The food was lovely, a nice variety of continental buffet and the hot food orders were taken and food delivered promptly. Staff were very welcoming, especially Emma who greeted me and took my order each morning.

Attended with my adult son - we'd booked online and had a Groupon voucher to use - £29.99 for two courses from the festive menu - the actual menu was not available to look at in the restaurant but I had screenshot the deal details so knew what we could choose from - it's a bit limited for choice but I knew that when I purchased the voucher. The restaurant is clean and had a good atmosphere; staff friendly and the food was good.

Cosy little place, plenty to choose from behind the bar. Food was of a decent quality, service from Tia was exemplary. The 2 bar staff didn't do a bad job either!!! Well done Lauren and Lisa for keeping me occupied at the bar!

Booked a table but had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, then 20 minutes to have drink order taken when drinks didn’t show up after 15 minutes we decided to leave and no one cared that we left! Staff all looked like they couldn’t...

Booked easy on the website. On arrival our table was ready, service was friendly. The mixed grill was filling and plentiful. Only complaint was that certain items were cold, especially the mushroom. Refills of the soft drinks were regularly. BEWARE - the car park is now monitored by parking cameras, you need to put your car reg in an iPad in the bar to avoid a fine. Also, no member of staff told us about the new parking rules. We just happened to see the car park signs.

Brilliant and friendly service by Tia. Can’t fault her at all. All topped off with lovely food as well.

Last minute Christmas Party booked. Crackers with bad jokes on the table set us up laughing, and with lots of drinks and lovely food later, we continued to be in the Christmas spirit. Tia, our waitress was fantastic, joining in with the frivolities humouring us and was very attentive. In honesty, I didn't expect to have such a good night in a Harvester, but was pleasantly surprised.

Birthday family evening meal, lovely clean and well decorated restaurant, spacious seating, looked after and served by ‘Melih’, very pleasant and good service provided by him, steaks cooked well, grilled lamb chops were cooked well done but I thought were slightly too well done!, grilled salmon was fine, deserts a treat.All in all a good meal and good service, looking forward to returning at Christmas.

Arrived here without booking a table, no problem seating us straight away. Melih (Gino) served us once again as we are quite regular visitors. Exceptional service as usual and he is always smiling and cheerful. Food was hot and tasty. We will be returning.

I booked this restaurant for a family Birthday meal on Sunday 31st October. On arrival we were given a list of 26 items that were not available to order that day. There was no apology or reason given and too late to book elsewhere for 11 people. It resulted in very little choice of main meals and desserts. We were not offered any discount even though items were missing from the roast dinners.I complained by email and phone to Customer Relations at Whitbread and they told me to get in contact with the manager of The Bull. I spoke to Emma, the manager and she told me that it states on the menu “ items were subject to availability” and “we were in the middle of a global pandemic”!No compensation was forthcoming and her attitude was rude and patronising.I certainly will not return to this restaurant.

I think jade who does breakfast shift is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to speak to, I know the type of business is people oriented but she really is brilliant with customers - credit where its due for this particular lady Been twice to stay at premier inn but 6 months apart and she remembered us as a family - incredible and outstanding xxx

We went for a family breakfast 6/11/21 and we were served by jade, she was brilliant very friendly and very attentive. She was also hard working and always on the move. Food was amazing too. Overall the service from all was really great. I very much recommend the bull beefeater especially at breakfast time.

We were a group of three, 2 adults and a child of 4. We ordered sausage and mash from the 'Kid's' menu, which looked okay. However, the mash was stone cold so we sent it back. We were asked if we wanted it reheated or another meal. Why would anyone want a meal reheated? We said we wanted a fresh meal. The adult meals, both Chick 'N' Grill, were okay but to be honest we've had better meals at McDonalds for half the price! When it came to desserts, there was a lot of things that weren't available. Why put them on the menu if they aren't available? Will not be returning.

Had an impromptu meal out with son and daughter-in-law this evening and had the lovely Fiona serve us. Now there were many items unavailable on the menu but this didn’t stop its ordering what we loved and the food was cooked well and drinks were flowing but Fiona made the whole experience much better with her lovely manner! she’s an asset to the team and I will look out for her next time we visit.

Ordered rack of ribs, when arrived one had coleslaw, the other didnt, and both had the sticky sauce missing. No explanation given.Mixed grill, Chicken was burnt rock hard on one side, steak was very tough and no grilled tomato even though was mentioned on the menu.I appreciate the deliveries are still as and when, but should at least be advised if something is missing.We were given a 'missings list' but none of the above were listed.On the plus side, it was good to see the place busy.

For a last minute gathering of friends and family, Helen on the bar, went above and beyond to ensure our whole party was attended to and our orders (both food and drink) arrived perfectly quickly

We often stay at the premier inn next door and was hoping the service / food had improved since Covid. Alas not. We had a table booked for 8pm. We joined the queue to check in at 7.50 (4 parties in front of us). At 8.30 we still had not got to the front of the check in queue!! The lady booking in had the same churned out “apologies for keeping you waiting” without so much as a smile… well no you aren’t sorry as we weren’t even offered a complimentary drink for standing in a queue for 40 mins. How it takes that long to seat 4 parties of 2-4 is beyond me! When we were finally taken to our seats we walked past at least 6 empty tables and when queried why it had taken so long to get seated we were told they had all just left! Uh we were standing waiting for a table for 40 mins no way did that many people walk past us to exit! Anyway seated at our table we were handed a long list of meals that weren’t available… “beyond my control so don’t have a go at me” was what we were told! How can you not get basics like macaroni cheese and lasagne, it’s mince, cheese and pasta is there a shortage that I’m unaware of?? Anyway on a plus the food came out quickly, thank goodness as by now it was 9 o clock and we were all starving. However the food was nice but the portions were tiny, I’m not a big eater but even I was still hungry after a tiny chicken and a few chips which cost over £13. My daughter had a salmon fillet … £15 for one tiny salmon fillet (you can get 2 in supermarkets for about £5!!) sone chips and a bit of salad. Oh and beware of the meal deal, after paying £24 for that you then get told lots of the meals (and drinks) you have to pay extra to upgrade!. I do think on a Saturday night if you haven’t got enough waiting staff then don’t book so many tables. The couple in front of us said they had only booked their table an hour previous. Why take on more bookings if you can’t cope with what you already have in the restaurant? Oh and at least when your front of house arrives after 40 mins with the scripted apology do it with a smile at least and maybe a free drink. People wouldn’t be so fed up with waiting and you may not get so much hassle from hungry disgruntled customers.

Went for our ref breakfast this morning .Ben was cooking (know his name as my asd daughter needs to know who is cooking ) breakfast was hot .fresh and really tasty .the manager on today was very friendly and welcoming .the kids all ate every bit and all commented it was the best ever .Thank you for again doing such lovely brekkie .my kids only want to eat out here for breakfast every week .

We came for a family breakfast while on a couple nights away. Our waitress Jade gave excellent service couldn’t do enough for and was great with our little one. She was quick to respond always ready to serve and always with smile all the staff were great with us. Food was of great standard as we went for the full english. Was very quiet while we were there but very welcoming atmosphere would definitely come back.

Popped in today for lunch with my friend and her son. The food was great, the service was fantastic! Couldn’t have been better. The waiter was having fun with her son and always there when you needed him. Melih was a delight and even made sure that her sons burger came out with ketchup inside it and on the side so he didn’t have a meltdown.will be back soon and raving about your service. Sorry no better picture but this would the only one I could get as we had already finished ours.

We stayed one night in the Premier Inn next to the Beefeater. The evening meal was very good and very helpful staff. We booked morning breakfast and this is probably one of the best meals I have had for a long time, very fresh, tasty, well cooked by Keith the chef. Jade our waitress very helpful, happy and attentive.Really nice stay and would highly recommend.

I've been to this Beefeater quite a few times before; it's usually been really good with friendly staff and great food. We went last night for my son's birthday and all I can say is it was an average experience.The food itself was great - we all had main courses and it was hot and fresh. However our waitress just seemed disinterested in engaging with us as customers. It was my son's birthday and he had a badge on - there was no acknowledgment or a cursory "happy birthday" and all the while she took our order the waitress was chewing gum. We were asked if we'd like dessert and when we said we would, we were reeled off a list of atleast 50% of the menu that was not available then she promptly left. Not her fault, I'm fully sympathetic with supply issues etc. but it wasn't delivered in a great way with a "I'm really sorry but we've not go many desserts. to offer you". When she came back to take the dessert orders we said we weren't going to have anything as they didn't have anything we wanted. Again - no recognition of being sorry that there was so much missing from the menu.I don't expect a grovelling member of waiting staff, but I do expect someone not to chew gum, extend basic/simple courtesies and generally try an offer a pleasant dining experience. I feel she let the restaurant down on this occasion.

Evening mealWell presented well cooked, excellent staff nothing was too much trouble.…….. but!!Breakfast the following morning was like being in a different establishment…..Very mediocre food, for the price I would expect good quality food from a company this size but instead ended up with two sausages, the size of cocktail sausages, but with more of a cereal taste rather then meat , one slightly burnt, the other totally black, bacon wafer thin and half cooked , everything else was ok . Service was good, very quick and very polite, I was served by Jade N

Popped in for breakfast and was very impressed. We got greeted and waited on by Jade who was an absolute delight. Good food and good service

We ordered the best steak sandwich. When it arrived it was so tough the steak knife couldn't cut it. We spoke to our waiter and explained and was told "Well it is steak" " Every piece of steak is different. We asked for something else as this was inedible and was told if "you want"This totally spoiled our visit, the attitude of the waiter was disgusting, as we are regulars and have never had this from any of the waitresses we were very upset.

Melih, Lou and Louise C went above and beyond to sit all 15 of us down together so that we could celebrate my Mum's 89th birthday after arriving to find out that someone had cancelled my booking without informing me. Even though they were short staffed, they even found the time to put candles on Mum's cake and came out to sing happy birthday. We have used this restaurant many times and the staff and food have been brilliant. Thank you all.

Went today with the kids .The staff Jade and Stephen was lovely to wards the children .It’s so nice to go some where to feel they care you are there .Food was lovely .my daughter who has asd was really looked after with her food choices .Thank you so much for the lovely experience again .

We went to The Bull in Swanley on the of chace, We had the best service from the time we steped over the threshold. THe 2 ladys who looked after us were very friendly and fun very smilley. Will come again the next time we come down, We live near Spalding Lincs.

Date night to our local beefeater last Friday. We were served by Melih. He is so friendly and always a pleasure when we are sat in his section - he is our favourite waiter there so we are always happy when sat with him. The food is great, service is fantastic and we love visiting our local beefeater for any event whether it be birthday or catch up with friends. The prices are reasonable and we always have a great time. I tried the truffle burger for the first time which was lovely.I look forward to going back soon!

Took the kids up to the bull for dinner before school starts on Thursday. The waiter Melih was soooo good with the kids. He spent just the right amount of time chatting and joking with them. He was so patient with them. He was also very good at being there when you needed him and elsewhere when you didn't. The sort of waiter who you feel privileged and not obligated to tip. Couldn't recommend the service enough. A real pleasure to have dinner out! Thank you! Food was cooked to perfection. Kids enjoyed all of there's too. They especially like that you can choose your own sides and swap your mash potato over. Gives them a real choice to eat healthy (Happy Mum) and pick what they want (happy kids).

Just had a lovely dinner at the Bull Beefeater in Swanley. Louise our waitress was absolutely lovely, really attentive and nothing seemed too much. We found out at the end of our night from the Manager Fiona that there were only 2 chefs working on such a busy night and we didn’t even notice. So big shout out to the chefs Shirarna & Martin and all the other staff, we always have a wonderful dinner and will be back for more! :)

Oh my goodness! Never again.. how the chef could have missed the mould all over my chicken burger is beyond me. He/she didn’t even bother to come out and apologise which leads me to believe they don’t care about what they are serving there. It put me and my colleagues off for any future visits for sure.

Tia our waitress was very attentive, great service and food! Family dinner out and lots of different food ordered!

One of our favourite restaurants as we have never been disappointed with the food, drinks and service. Steaks are always cooked as ordered and portions are always very good. Staff always so helpful and pleasant and nothing is too much for them. Also, Beefeater Rewards are an added bonus!!

We ate dinner and breakfast here as staying at the Premier Inn next door. My "Surf and Turf" was of a very high standard. Excellent quality ingredients and a Chef who knows what "medium rare" means. Our waitress "Lou" was brilliant.Breakfast also featured excellent quality food and friendly efficient service.

After a disappointing hotel breakfast at the weekend, my partner took me for a fail proof beefeater all you can eat breakfast. The food was plentiful, nothing was too much to ask for and the hot food was delicious. The highlight of our morning was the fantastic service from our waitress Jade N who put us both in a great mood for the rest of the day.

Fantastic service from Tia at the Bull beefeater in Swanley. Tia was friendly and very friendly, she made sure we were all happy with our meals. Recommended this place highly. Thank you to Tia and also Lev. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
