An amazing pub, the atmosphere is amazing, everyone is super friendly and the staff are amazing too

Always a great community atmosphere here every time I've been.

Proper darts/sports bar. Always a good atmosphere about the place, bar staff excellent and plenty of choices of drinks at reasonable prices. Free parking at Kings Chase Dartboards in use all day and well organised tournaments nightly and also academy sessions three days a week for youngsters. Tidy sitting booths in the bar area with screens that show live sports.

Just witnessed a darts tournament organiser assault an elderly man who had a heavily bandaged arm and left him with a bleeding oncut to his head and a massive bruise above his eye, an ambulance was called to check the gentleman out,. The organiser then went back into the bar and was laughing about it. Maybe if he didn't smoke so much weed , he stank of it, he may be more responsible with his actions. The fact that there were young children in the bar playing in the tournament makes this situation even worse. The organiser was wearing a darts asylum shirt so I guess he's well known in there. I don't know what happened or why it happened but this was shocking behaviour from someone who clearly has issues. Soured an enjoyable day.

Excellent service quality beers and lagers all round the place to visit. Has several high quality rooms for reasonable prices. Redecorated darts lounge also offering courses for the budding young darts player top quality entertainment on the weekends

Stayed for 2 nights in rooms Upstairs.. Very clean and tidy rooms . Bar had amazing atmosphere and locals and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.. Can’t wait to stay again in Oct

Mmmmm not good at all tbh a lame bar at most with sub standard facilities all squashed into a pathetic shop building, not a place ya gonna go back to. Closed when it says it’s open and when it’s open it’s as dead as a dodo

Lively place Reasonably good prices on the bar. Music good.

Room was very clean and comfortable it had all we needed for our stay.

This was my first time in 501 and it was nice and clean, cheerful bar staff, it had a good selection of drinks and the music was good

A lovely start and end to a night out

This bar is nice, the lady on the bar was chatty and the prices of drinks was good. I had two pints of Guinness and some nuts.

Fun on a Friday with DJ Playing good tunes

Its a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely and all in all its the place to be if you want to watch sport.

I booked into No. 3 a clean, efficient space. However, it was incredibly cold despite a 4 bar oil heater in the room, the internet was a bit spotty and dropped out a few times during my use which was disappointing as it was a priority for work related stuff. Sarah, who was my point of contact failed to tell me that the room was located next to a loading bay. It was a Friday night and deliveries took place after 7pm and I was also awakened the next morning around 6am to the sound of heavy duty trucks, shouting and deliveries being made which was frustrating to say the least. As all the rooms were empty and the same rate, I do think it would have been thoughtful of Sarah to have pointed this out and suggested an alternative room as a requirement was quiet.
